- Ive been really looking forward to getting my hands on the 2023 Lyrik since the release a few months back after having many a pair of Fox 36's and Lyrik Ultimates in the past.
Check out the video to see what I reckon and whether they really are as good as reviews say.

Great review!

Brill review, and beard game is on point
Nice! Just ordered mine last evening! Going from an older Fox 34 on a smaller travel trail bike to the Lyrik on a new Trans Sentinel that I'm currently building up. Appreciate the review - Mega excited to get that thing put on the front.
Great video.. wish I could ride as well! Maybe one day with some practice. Do you have a matching rear shock?
Agree with the arm pump. Went from first gen zeb to this and it feels like a lighter, a little less plusher zeb. Both forks at 160mm travel.
Running 90 psi and zero tokens. Thinking of going with one token and little less air pressure and see what happens with the mid stroke and arm pump.
Yeah, they definitely aren’t super supple but this means that at the other end they are insanely supportive.
@@peterbooker1995 actually was a lot nicer with one token and less air pressure.
How do you feel now with your lyrik?
nice review!
just wondering if you changed the travel of the fork by putting a longer air shaft?
i mean the lyrik comes only at 160 maximum? meaning will have the need to pay for a new shaft and installment fee?
thanks.
love the charger 3.0 as i have tested the new zeb, but i do think that the lyrik would be enough for me my only problem is that i want it in 170 or 180 mm 😢
Cheers.
Yeah, I’m running it at 160 but you can still get the 170 air shaft for it I’m fairly certain. They just aren’t available until next year.
If running 170 the Zeb is probably a better option though as it’s stiffer.
lyrik is available in 160/170/180mm
@@emilcosiprdelumyl Incorrect. In the latest 2023 Lyrik you can only buy it as a 140/150 or 160 fork.
Thanks for sharing. Just got mine. The trailhead app is 95 % on. i run it at 84 PSI (85 kilos) with 7 clicks from slow. The app suggests 10. What size tires are you running 2.6's? looks cool.
Cheers for the comment.
Yeah, I have found the app to be pretty close as a starting point to be honest. I’m running 2.5 front and 2.4 rear. Not a huge fan of 2.6’s as they tend to feel a bit floaty.
I have a Fox 36 rhytm on my Trek fuel ex gen 6.... should i replace It with new lyrik?
Hands down the best fork I have ever ridden. I concur.
Riding down a smooth trail, dude be like "it's sooo smooth".. :-D
Joking aside, it's a fantastic fok you got there man.
By the way, my 2023 zeb had slightly tight bushings, it really came alive after burnishing the bushings and I no longer felt the recommended pressure and compression setting was too high. Maybe that could be a source of your occasional arm pump..
I just checked there is still some overlap - Pike 120mm, 130mm, 140mm - Lyrik 140mm, 150mm, 160mm
Sorry yeah, I had misinformation at the time.
Hi did you have chance to try out the new zeb ultimate? I'm kind of on the fence between the two, but which do you recommend? Rockshox states that the new lyrik is 20% stiffer, does that mean it's as stiff as the first generation of Zeb? Cheers!
Not had chance to get my hands on one yet unfortunately. Keen to have a go when I can though.
Can i upgrade my old lyrikwith the new 2023 cartridge?
Yup, this is possible but dampers and air shafts aren’t due into stock until Jan 23 in the UK.
@@peterbooker1995 Nice! Thanks man
I think that only applies to old Zeb but not sure.
Only with the Zeb. Not backwards compatible with the lyrik or yari.
