- Hello and welcome to another episode, In this one we go insearch of a location and fall short, then by chance stumble on a Vauxhall Astra and end up buying it, Great little car bit rough around the edges but well worth saving.
Then we go insearch of a couple locations and find some right gems, RS TURBO!! ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH! VOLANTE! Simply wow!! I hope you enjoy this venture as much as i did, Thanks for watching...

It’s a pity that a lot more abandoned cars aren’t made available for sale, instead of being left to totally rot away. The old Astra polished up really well. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with this car. I can’t believe that the Aston Martin is left abandoned like that, such a high class classic car. A great video.
My Dad and I had a 1,6 LSi Auto from 1996 to 1998 as a fleet car. I really loved driving it. It felt like a real upgrade coming from a Mrk.4 and Mrk.6 Escort. The Astra rode really well and had a great interior. It felt like much more of a drivers car than the Excorts we had had previously. When time came for my parent to move out of the UK, I was allowed to run the car for a few months over the summer of 98 as I worked for the same employer while studying. I still have a photo of our purple Astra on the last day I could still call it our car. I even worked at the fleet management office in the corporation that ran it, so I know it was passed to another employee. Good memories. Cool to see you also have a Nova, I learnt to drive in a GSi. Passed first time, but never got to rev the nuts off it. Greetings from a half-Brit from Denmark.

Drove past that house last weekend, wife was less bothered about it than me! Did see an early 1920s Model T Ford parked outside some shops up the road, very original and actually in use, which also distracted me...

They had lost a lot of distinction and character compared to the Mk1 & Mk2 Astras.
I live down the road from the Aston Martin, the camper van and 206 have now gone, Aston still there though

That model Astra, in fact Vauxhalls from that period, had a funny smell to them. Probably the glue they were using? Both a friends Omega and my sister's Astra had the same odd pong. My sister's Diesel Turbo Astra with the Izuzu engine was deceptively quick though.
Shame about that Aston, I didn't think they were that good to drive, but despite the 'pornographer trim' and all the Ford/Volvo parts bin bits, its still a nice motor. Looks to me as if some old boy has died and the estate is in probate. Furry dice are a nice touch though!

Interestingly when you look at the Aston on the DVLA site it shows as SORN , MOT expired in August 2014 but last logbook was issued in April 2021

A good mix, I really enjoyed it, astra was a good flip 👍 poor old girl losing her driving independence, but when it's not safe for them to drive 🤷 forgot camera, forgot sd card 🤦😂😂 if you get offered the Escort have a good check of the floors, sills and battery tray, they like to rot!! That RS turbo had no wheel arch trims or side skirts, a bit odd they are missing on a genuine car, make sure it’s not a replica, also bare in mind the cost of replacing them on the price, RS turbo trim bits aren’t cheap today. Also very hard to come by.
Good clean up, get that exported, you'll get big money for that Swift Bessacarr

Hello mate! On this video with the point of the Aston Martin camper van and 206 cc. There is a house not a million miles from my house with 2 astons on the drive and they haven't moved for years... in that situation the family that owned and still do own the house however they are doing a bit of prison time and this was before the proceeds of crime act so unfortunately there it all sits until they are free again

I owned one these brilliant cars 14 years ago 1.6 ls 8v 97 r reg. Was pale gold colour. I thought it pretty cool had a sunroof and a big engine compare to 1.0 litres had

You've done it again mate hit it right in the back of the net. Nice MK3 Astra there are getting rare now it came up nice though hope you got a good price. That lovely old black Ford Zephyr has a mind blowing low mileage of 8,709 !!!! WOW . That house with the tidy astra estate and the Red Rover 600 well that is a rare Rover 623 diesel model with 91,000 miles . As for the Aston Martin with two wheel clamps on er why ? only 44,000 miles that is a criminal waste it really is.What makes me laugh is they go to the trouble of putting two wheel clamps on it then leave it unlocked LOL
That's exactly what I was thinking! Why leave it open! I was utterly shocked when I tried the handle and she popped open???? Unreal tbh! Some people! I'm guessing something to do with the battery! The door card confused me to why it's been ripped off?? Anyway that's for stopping by buddy....

Aston martin is owned by a guy who works or did work for BBC I think he lives in London. The clamps were put on because there was a tip off it was gonna get stolen.
