I would only change one thing regarding the concept images. I am specifically referring to the images where you stated the guys were standing in front of shields. 🛡You don’t stand in front of shields. You use shields to protect you from what is coming towards you. In the concept photo the guys are standing in front of targets. 🎯You can still see the bullets flying towards them.
The damage of the targets each members is standing in front of differs. The two targets with the most bullet holes and bullets flying towards them are RM and Suga. Can this be all the negativity they received when they went from rappers to idols? Jimin has a different type of damage. Yes there are bullet holes but his target has large hole ripped in it. When I saw this I saw this as Jimin’s mental health after the negativity he has received. Like when he was told he was fat and even the death threats he has received. Hobi’s target is made differently, his is more fragile than the other members targets and why it is shattering. While he wants to show Army only hope and happiness thing are not always as they appear. He is more fragile.
The damage of the targets are all the bad that has come towards them. Being in front of the targets is Proof they are bulletproof and have overcome that bad.
Alone they may not have made it but together they are stronger. They need each other.

Yes, I agree with all of this. I remember Hobi being bullied online and the same with Taehyung and Jungkook. Namjoon and Yoongi took the most of the damage too. They were also shielding Jin, Taehyung, Jungkook, Hobi, and Jimin. And each one of them shielded each other from what most of society threw at them.
And BTS are the shields for us and for themselves. They no longer need the metal shields, they no longer need to hide who they are.
Wow..BTS standing in front of targets and not shields makes sense. ARMY are the best detectives around. It amazes me how deep the messages are, carried forward each comeback to tie in with their past and current works.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Although I've heard similar ideas like yours fly around from other fans as well... I'm not fond of comparing which members had it worse or not, it's all relative. It creates unfair comparisons, which goes against the inclusivity of BTS.
@xCeleste kept it to understand that the damage to shields is a symbol of the difficulties the members had, but didn't push it to make it as individualistic as others are speculating. That I agree with!
As others have pointed out before, "anthology" comes from a Greek word which means "a collection of blossoms", so connecting Proof to HYYH makes perfect sense! Thank you for putting this theory video together! I love seeing all of the throwbacks and connections to their past content. :)

Ανθος (anthos) means blossom/flower and the -ology is the same as in other words like psychology, kinda translates to "the study of/the appreciation of". -ology derives from the word for "word/speech". So anthology in my mind could kinda translate to "waxing poetics about flowers" which is PEAK bts if you as me
I marvel at how intentional BTS and Bang PDnim's team have been since the beginning in making their music purposeful and meaningful.

Yes, the "Namib" desert that meets the Sea. It's odd that I learned of that desert way before I even heard the track Sea because I was in college and I hadn't been caught up with BTS's at all until years later. (I watched a documentary on the Namib desert before I got back into BTS's music at the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019. I know missed a lot but that Namib documentary video felt like it came out of nowhere. It felt like a coincidence but I feel it wasn't a coincidence that documentary was recommended to me and I chose to click on it. For a long time, I had no idea why I even watched that documentary video on CZcams. Also, that documentary video no longer exists on CZcams.) There are no coincidences with BTS. And guess what the documentary was also talking about. It was talking about "sea shells" that were imbedded in the rock formations in the desert. Back when it was below sea-level it had been covered in sea water. The BTS members were wearing "sea shell" inspired jewelry in those concept photos.
Everything on this planet is one, it has a oneness as Namjoon described in the lyrics. It all goes back to the soul and the "Who Am I?" question. And as this is about youth to adulthood it all makes sense together. They are so good at storytelling, since debut they planned all of this. It is so amazing to see how far we've all come; BTS and ARMY ✨💜

Edit: I remembered the Namib documentary when I watched your video today.
I may have freaked out a tiny bit about all this after the fact because I saw the Namib documentary long before I heard the track "Sea" and read the lyrics. When I mean long before, I mean before I listened to "Sea." It was not before that album/song came out. I had a lot to catch up on.
In early 2019, I caught up with everything BTS had and I mean everything, which included the hidden track "Sea." Then the same year "Map of the Soul: Persona" came out and the rest, you know about Bookish Theories. The same thing happened again with me knowing Carl Jung and his work on my own before "Map of the Soul: Persona" came out. (I did not study Carl Jung's work at school or college.) Everytime I put the pieces together I got chills and it was so strange.
Back in 2019, I started to piece all of this together when I found the Bookish Theories video on "Pied Piper" and it just kept going from there. Until I got to a video about the hidden track Sea and I may have freaked out a little bit and wasn't sure if I should write about it in the comments of Gaia's (Bookish Theories) video. But I did talk about it on her videos, it all started coming together and making sense to me. (There is something spiritual going on in the background of all of this. It's a bit scary for most people but for me it's amazing and fascinating. I won't go into any details, it may scare people with how strange it was lol)

@@terrykaphingst5106 Yes, it was all planned out since their debut, I can to tell because things like music production and music videos take a lot of work and planning. Sometimes years in advanced. I've studied visual effects and animation and I also needed to take classes on film, storyboarding, settings, lighting, sound, music, and all of it. I had to plan out a lot of my assignments in advance otherwise my work would be late. (And I did it all on my own, usually it's a team of people working on it all.)
It's a whole room full of artists and people coming up with it all. And we know BTS have a hand in it all since debut and even Namjoon said that they work on the research and read, watch films, etc. BTS themselves did the same with the "BE" album but that time it was all them and they asked for the team to help too.
Also, I feel some of it fell into place as well, but they had it planned out.
I'm from Namibia, were the Namib desert meets the sea...actually our country is named after the desert "Namib", which means vast place in one of the local languages here. I just felt like commenting this since as an African ARMY, this the closest thing to BTS I've ever experienced...I'm just super proud to live here and sincerely wish they visit any African country soon
Did you notice the tiled floor under the vault door? It looked like the bathroom tiles from the scenes in their older music videos.
I knew the necklaces were sea shells, the one Hobi was wearing looked a bit like a piece of an oyster shell; like the inside of the shell.
Aren't bullets called shell-casings after the bullets been used.

I use to work at a bank and they'd have that on the floor at the door. Although for this pic, I'm not to sure. It's hard to see

I meant the floor under the door not in front of it. Oh okay, because they almost looked like the titled floor of that bathroom scene. Also, they might have used the same set with the vault door and tiled walls. It's really cool you worked at a bank. Yeah, I agree it's usually metal flooring.

Also, not related to theories, but their suits in the door photos are made from the same fabric as hanboks, so that’s a very nice touch

Finding the north; it's where a compass points because of the magnetic properties on the planet. And their logo for "WINGS" is a compass design.

With magnets, opposites attract. It's like the light and shadows that we all have. And Namjoon and BTS speak about that a lot. The duality and how opposite things are still the same; like the Sea and the Desert. They are both equal and all parts of the soul. Yes, Map of the Soul. It is all connected as one.

how does BTS do this? and how do you piece it together? i am in awe.
I believe that that Smeraldo flower in Taehyung's mouth represents the truth, he is finally able to speak. Remember, when in Singularity mv, he had this flower in his hands and it represented the truth that cound not be told and now it's in his mouth, hence he is telling that truth.
Also I think the cracks on Jhopes shield are there because once it almost broke. Remember, when bts told us, Jhope wanted to leave the group, but the boys wanted him to stay, so he did. But he was so close to leaving and losing his bulletproof shield. Jungkook has the least amount of "scars", because he is the least hated bts member in my opinion, and this would explain why he doesnt have a lot of scars on his shield, but, let's be honest, the amount isn't drastically different from RM's sheild for instance, because all of them experienced hardships and hate and up to this day, some people still put hate on them, but now they kinda learned to cope with it

It is because of your videos that I got to understand so many BTS concepts...please do continue with them, today i not only learned the meaning of the logos, but also what HYYH stood for and it's exact meaning, these help me so much as a new ARMY and i always like to refer my fellow newbies to your channel!!!

At 6:27 Rm explains that the first two letters (of most beautiful moment in life in Chinese) means like a flower, and I directly thought about his new song wild flower, when youjeen sings „like a flower, flower work, flower flower work,…“ . So all together from what I said at the beginning, it means the most beautiful period of time in your life and I think, relating to his song wild flower, that he finally found himself and now is the most beautiful moment in his life.

I just found this channel earlier today. I didn't actually realize at first that the one behind them is a vault. But now knowing it's a vault, it made me think that maybe this has something to do with Scooter? He had a huge fight with Taylor Swift in 2019 because he sold her masters without giving her the opportunity to buy it first, thus leaving Taylor to re-record her past works. Since this is an anthology, a collection of their past works and never been heard songs, I think BTS is just giving us something to hold on to and enjoy while they move in the hush of night to protect what's in that vault --- their songs. With Scooter's active involvement now in the company as CEO of Hybe USA, BTS must have realized the need to protect what's theirs before it will be too late. Taylor has been very vocal about what happened to her on social media --- the experiences she had with Scooter, so it might have reached BTS indirectly or maybe Taylor reached out to them directly. They might not be close, but they've met in one of the Awards Shows in the US before, they had pictures together and Jin was even chosen by the world to collaborate with Taylor (based on a poll run by Billboard). So, it's really a possibility that the stories reached BTS and remember last year (around 4Q), Jin, RM, and JHope sold some of their stocks (the acquisition of Ithaca of Scooter by Hybe happened around early-mid last year). Based on the footage of BTS' arrival at the Grammy, only RM, V, and Jimin greeted Scooter who arrived next to them, together with Hitman Bang. Knowing the 7 guys are very well-mannered, seeing them act like that made me think that maybe they are not pleased with his presence. Hahaha.. Scooter wasn't there when they started, so why on Earth should he be present in that award show? Ride on BTS' popularity and success?
My theory is that what is in the vault are the members memories and friendship, Since each member goes through some type of grief I do believe that maybe the scars on the targets are resemblance of what the members have gone through, so in the BS&T MV Hobi shoots an arrow, maybe his scars do something with that?(Also with the fact that he was abandoned at a young age in the storyline Also I think the compass can relate to “Film Out” for their scene together.) And since we see each member trying to protect each other i’m thinking it’s related to them to protecting the vault (Ex, Yoongi protecting Jimins innocents in BS&T)
I also think we (ARMY) is also inside that vault. And they shield us too from the outside. And the logo of the door for ARMY is from the inside when BTS walk through the door. It's why there is one set of doors opening and the other set we see open from the inside. We are a part of those memories too.
