Here, Seokjin has decided to return the diary to the girl, and end their relationship. I believe this is what he does after resetting the timeline, in order to save her life. Also, I believe these events are shown in the Epiphany MV. First we see Seokjin sitting alone with the diary, then he goes out and "reverses the rain", indicating a resetting of the timeline. He then returns to his flat, takes the diary, and leaves - presumably in order to return it to the girl, as detailed in the Note.

I wanted to make her happy. I wanted to make her smile. I wanted
to be a good person. I thought it would be possible if I follow what
the diary said, but no. The more I try to become someone else, the more

from myself, but like how you can’t put a period to a sentence without
subject, I lost my true self, unable to move forward any further and

The calla lilies in the vase, which Seokjin knocked over on August 30 and then didn't (Highlight Reels); the red diary (Highlight Reels, July 11, August 30), and that final shot of Seokjin's car on the beach (the boys' second seaside trip on May 22, Year 22, when Taehyung jumped and then didn't - see footnote below).

Then there is that INTRIGUING connection to Jimin's LIE short film (Wings era): czcams.com/video/_y8-HD5O69g/video.html . At 1:25 we see him
standing in the pouring rain, and 5 seconds later (at 1:30) we see the rain pouring upwards, reversed, as Jimin hold's out his palm (in the gesture we know so well from the DNA MV). A short while later we see the water sloshing over the sides of Jimin's bathtub, and then the same bathtub, reversed in time, with the water sloshing back in!

I confess I have very little idea of the actual significance of "reversed rain/water" linking Epiphany and Lie in this manner. Seokjin's relationship with the Smeraldo girl was a lie, Jimin lied to everyone about the traumatic incident (see Jimin's Note, Year 20, September 28). The rain has always symbolized Jimin's childhood trauma (it rained heavily at the Arboretum on that fateful day, April 6, Year 11), and in Epiphany the reverse rain signifies the reversal of time, the mirror cracking, Jin's attempt to re-set the time-loop. But the connection is definitely there, whatever it means.

Footnote: Any footage of the boys at the seaside WITH JIN'S CAR has to refer to the SECOND visit, in Year 22. On the FIRST visit (June 12, Year 19) they went by train, walked for miles, and did definitely NOT have a car.

The sad thing about the blog getting rebooted in 2020 for the third time means... Seokjin failed to save the girl again/ something bad happened even after the second(?) timeline where he didn't order the flowers... and holy shit, we DID get a (kind of) comeback with Dynamite! This is just so much to comprehend like how everything is so precisely connected, how it is all been planned and the way it's being conducted, this is like Einstein level shit, bighit really is so amazing like it's beyond my imagination, the respect and admiration I have for them for comming up with all this and also the TxT storyline is like I can't even express it. They really gonna rule the world if they keep going like this.

Honestly, it would make sense for either a comeback or a second part to the "Save Me" webtoon on August 30th, or just some continuation of the Bangtan story arch, if only because of the fact that we don't know any of the events after that date, like you said. If the want is to continue the story of the Bangtan Universe it is only logical to pick up right where they left off, in this case that would be on August 30th when the last events that we know of took place. I truly think that something will be released around that day to continue the events in the storyline, the phrase "at the end of August" is just too specific. Those in charge of the blog could have easily continued using the wording "late August" had the date not been significant, but they chose those particular words.
I'm about to use a really dumb reference to help solidify my point so please bear with me lol. It's like that moment in Camp Rock (I said it was dumb, but I promise I have a point) when Mitchie gets in trouble and can't compete in Final Jam, but the camp director (I forgot his name and don't really care to look it up lol) kept saying she had to wait for "the end of Final Jam." Well she realized that he didn't mean after the event was over, he meant wait for the end when all the competitors have performed but before the show has actually finished. This was genuinely the only situation that I could think of that would best illustrate my point, it's weird but effective.
All this to say, the wording of "at the end of August" is just too specific to be insignificant, so I think we will get something that will, at the very least, further the story of the Bangtan Universe; and having the story continue on the day it stopped initially would make total sense, in my opinion. OR maybe we're all clowns and being played like she said, also a very likely scenario.
