I feel people keep overthinking the events that might have caused certain things and stuff, but I believe Big Hit and BTS didn't want this to be just another drama or science fiction story.
This theory seems more realistic as it focuses on the message they want to give us, instead of the storyline. It has an aim, and it is to show people they can love themselves in order to be happy. Yes, there are going to be dark days and moments where nothing seems right. Nevertheless, there is always a way out (and I guess that's what we'll see in the next albums).
So yeah, I don't think the main topic of this amazing storyline we've been given is just time travel or tragedies everywhere. It's about living, suffering, fighting and learning how to love yourself.

They are infinite in past and future. This represents the Trinity in Christianity. Perfect in Mind Spirit and Body(Father, Holy Ghost, Son). This also happens to represent the Lion of Judah. Maybe txt will be added to the story along the way. Bts has a song called wings (angel wings I believe) and txt has a song called crown (devil horns). So it think they might be added into this story line eventually. Just my opinion

Um I just realized this but remeber the smeraldo flowers that jin was suppose to give to that girl but she died? Well I think it's based of the story of smeraldo where a man who lives in a palace who never came out because he thought he was ugly and the only thing he enjoyed was gardening. One day a girl comes and steals some flowers from his garden. He observed the girl who would come everyday to pick flowers. One day he decided to make a special flower like no other and plant it on his garden for the girl. When he finally succeeded on making a one of a kind flower (I think it's the smeraldo flower) he noticed that the girl never came back to his garden. Little did he know the girl was already dead.
This relates to when Jin tried so hard to get the smeraldo flower for the girl and searched for it in many stores because the girl wanted to have smeraldo flowers (it was written in her diary) Once he found it he went to meet the girl. But he was too late when the girl got into the car accident just like how the guy from the story who was too late because he was too afraid to show his real self to the girl
And to add more the song truth untold in the new tear album was rumored to be based on the story. You could clearly tell from the lyrics.

I tried searching for that story but no physical book can be found about it, I tried internet but it either directs me to Oz or the blog. Try searching the story of smeraldo flower, it's easy to access now since a apparently a lot of army's searced it up for quite some time until now. Also if you actually read the lyrics and read the story again, it's 95% matching. It's just that he never really came to see or talk to her, and he never got the chance to show and give the flowers to her in that story.
The smeraldo does not exist, and he will never be able to show himself to the world. He grew a flower that can never bloom in a dream that will never come true.

In Fake Love Teaser 1 MV, there is the writing "Magic shop is a psychodramatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude" which means that this magic shop can turn all fear and bad memories into something that happy. Well, in this teaser also, you can see each member carrying different items. This stuff is actually a representation of the fear they are experiencing or the bad memories they want to forget, by way of exchanging these items to the magic shop so they can get new items that can change their lives to be happier.
1. Hoseok
Hoseok exchanged chocolate to the magic shop because he had a bad memory of chocolate, why? Try to remember MV 'WINGS Short Film: MAMA'. There Hoseok small given a bar of chocolate and left by his mother. That's why, he wants to forget his bad memories and go to the magic shop. That's where he got a cake instead of chocolate. This cake brings good memories for Hoseok, because this cake is the same cake he gets from a girl in MV 'LOVE YOURSELF: Highlite Reel'. So, she feels as if she's getting her mother's affection through this cake. But after getting the cake, his expression did not show happiness, because actually he realized that the cake he got was just an illusion. The real reality is brown, but he wants to throw away the memory of his childhood.
2. Namjoon
Namjoon exchanged broken glass with the words "need to survive". The writing on this glass can be seen in the MV 'WINGS Short Film: REFLECTION' where Namjoon writes "need to survive" and can also be found on MV 'HYYH: Epilogue'. The glass fragments are also the same glass fragments that Yoongi found in MV 'RUN Japan Ver'. . . . Because the glass broke, Namjoon's hope to survive in life was also lost. Well this is where the fear of Namjoon originated. That's why he exchanged broken glass into the magic shop and replaced with a pigtail. The ponytail is then he gave to a girl in MV 'LOVE YOURSELF: Highlite Reel'

Jimin exchanged landscape photos with the words 'Flower Arboretum'. This Arboretum Flower is a sight that Hoseok sees in MV 'WINGS Short Film: MAMA' and Jimin in MV 'WINGS Short Film: Lie'. Flower Arboretum is a picture of the Garden of Eden which means paradise. Hoodie that Namjoon used on MV 'I Need U' also reads paradise, which turns out to be one of the track titles Album 'LOVE YOURSELF: Tear'. Flower Arboretum may seem peaceful and calming, but not for Jimin. In the Flower Arboretum (utopian world) here he is trapped and lost. can you read the previous theory about the world of Utopia and Omelas In MV 'Euphoria' Jimin seems to run around with other members, but in fact not. Jimin is aware of the falsity of his utopian world, so he wants to get out of Flower Arboretum by swapping the Flower Arboretum with an umbrella. Why umbrella? Try going back to the HYYH era. During that era Jimin always wet kuyub (starting from the MV 'I Need U', he tried to kill himself in the tub). With this umbrella he hopes to forget those hard times, protecting himself from getting wet. But in fact, still the reality can not change. Jimin always wet despite using an umbrella (you can see in MV 'LOVE YOURSELF: Highlite Reel) .
4. Yoongi
Not indicated what objects he swapped in the magic shop, but clearly he got a candy from there. The same candy in MV 'LOVE YOURSELF: Highlite Reel', which she got from a girl to stop smoking. This candy brings a good memory for Yoongi because thanks to the girl and the candy, she can change from her bad habits.
5. Taehyung
Just like Yoongi, it is unclear what items he switched in the magic shop but he gets a bag with a red scarf instead. This bag is a bag that a girl uses to steal in MV 'LOVE YOURSELF: Highlite Reel'. chooses in-ear as a bad carrying item in his life, then he redeems this in-ear to a magic shop. However, Jin does not get any substitute items like the other members. Why? If you are observant, jeans that Jin uses in MV 'Fake Love Teaser 1' there is the inscription "There's unlimited supply, and there is no reason why. " This phrase refers to the Genie who seems to keep a secret very neat, he also did all this just for the sake of fame. Actually for whom he did this and what secrets he hides? On the Begins poster, only Jin uses in-ear, then on MV 'WINGS Short Film: AWAKE' Jin also wears in-ear. And in the Begins poster all members have their nickname code, except for Jin. the codes are written: Jimin - B0612 JMS Jungkook - B0612 JKS V - B0612 VS J-Hope - B0612 JHS RM - B0612 RMS Suga - B0612 SGS JMS means Jimin, JKS means Jungkook, so on and on. The letter S in each code can be interpreted as "Subject". This proves that Jin is actually controlled by someone through his in-ear and other members as his target, but who exactly controls Jin?
7. Jungkook
Jungkook runs into the Magic Shop as someone chases. He came there without anything, but strangely he got the key from the owner of the Magic Shop. Then he opened the room with the key and upon arriving at the room, a man in a black robe stood between 6 hanger in a grim background. This black-robed person is the same person who appears in MV 'Fire'. . . . The scene is of course very familiar, because it is the background of Taehyung's MV 'Singularity'. In MV 'Singularity', Taehyung dances with a mask on his face. The mask was deliberately used to mask the truth about him, who was the owner of the Magic Shop and the man who had controlled Jin through in-ear. And it was he who created all the illusions and tricks in the lives of his friends. There is no choice but to lie and make an illusion, even though he knows that his friends are suffering from his actions. This is evidenced by Singularity's lyrics that Taehyung is aware of everything he does, the happiness his friends feel is the illusion he makes. If this theory is true, it makes sense to be associated with 'The Note' uploaded by BigHit before the teaser. In the note, someone said "Do you still want to live even thought living is more painful than dying?" on Jungkook, and that person must be Taehyung. Why can Taehyung? This can be proven in one of the MV 'Fake Love Teaser 1' scenes, when entering the dingy room, Jungkook is seen wearing dirty clothes, just like the condition of the room. This condition describes Jungkook's post-accident situation in the MV 'I Need U'. 6 dirty hanger is likened to a hyungs with a sad condition due to a life full of illusion. Jungkook tries to protect his hyungs, wants to be with his hyungs, and searches for his hyungs that he can not find (when an accident happens). And suddenly someone came in a black robe and said, "Do you still want to live even thought living is more painful than dying?" which turned out to be Taehyung.

At first, I actually thought Taehyung really stabbed his father because of what he does to his sister. But when I googled it up, they were like, it's just stories that Bts does. I think reading the ''Save Me'' story on Webtoon will be useful. When I knew that this was all fake, like, not real, I told myself, don't bother yourself, because these are just theories and it's not clear, so I didn't want include myself in these stuff cause I would just waist my time, having the erge to figure out what this all means, will it is impossible to be 100% sure of your theories.

Truth untold: if you watch the color coded lyrics, theres a part "I must put on this mask for i am ugly", the lyrics represents the masked guy jungkook saw on fake love. The mask they wore on MAP OF THE SOUL trailer.
NO MORE DREAM: back to the topic of fake love. As told in this video, the boys traded stuff for their temporary happiness, and the butterfly drawing on the board on NO MORE DREAM, represents all the tragic memories to just fly, like a butterfly. The lyrics in butterfly says it all. The gurl who jin tried to protect, Yoongis mother and the girl who had the lolipop, The girl on the same bus on namjoons, The girl who jimin accidently pushed and hurted, Namjoons father that was accidently killed by Taehyung, the girl who taehyung was chasing to explqin what happened, and Jungkooks fear on seing the boys suffer. I have my own theory. This is something that I was thinking of as I was watching ur video. When Jungkook traded himself in, it couldâve been him feeling guilty watching his hyungs being sad/depressed. Why? Well because he ran away from his own duties as being the kid trapped in omelas. Thatâs why in not today you see him running. He was running away from his duties. When you saw his members falling down/getting shot at, it was because he left. You see he wasnât shot at all. That means he had escaped but sadly his hyungs didnât. So he traded himself in to get his members their happiness. That had restricted him to only seeing them from afar from now on.
And how to explain the ending?
My theory is that the ending actually came first. The ending was a flash back to when he found his way out. When he left and ran away. When he grabbed his chance at happiness, his members felt despair and thatâs why you see all of their fears came in. I think thatâs why the music stopped playing because it wasnât present time, present time was when he was watching his members from afar. Jungkook left and found happiness but his members were left behind. He then felt guilt for being happy when his members arenât. Thatâs why he had to face himself for who he actually was and what was right.

He continues to live in the Sandcastle as it falls apart regretting wearing the mask and keeping himself from showing his lover who he truly is in possibly getting her to stay.
