This is one of my favorite tutorials on YT! It works so quickly and makes for great gifts. I found the best way to make it lay flat is by adding a single crochet borders around the outside of the project.

How many skeins of yarn is needed to make a baby blanket if you used 3 different colors in the blanket.. What weight of yarn did you use #3 light worsted or #4 medium worsted and type of yarn that you used, cotton or acrylic and yarn brand used? How many heart squares are needed for entire baby blanket.. Could you do a tutorial on how to attach all the squares together and add the border edging to finish the blanket.. Thank you.. Rose Pierson
I haven’t tried making baby blanket it will depends on the size that you wanted. I’m guessing maybe 5 in each colour will give you a decent size blanket. Goodluck 😊

Thank you very much for your comment. I’ll try to upload a video on how to connect them together. Stay tuned 😊
Hey hon I love this video♥️♥️ exactly how many rows this pattern have?
30 rows in total
To make a afghan or blanket do I just chain 30 + 30 +30 till I have it the size or do I do 30 +29 +29
Or do I do 29+29+29+1
how do you end it off? do you slip stitch instead on the last 29th stitch? or just chain 1 and pull through?
I finished off with SC for 5 rows as we started 5 SC rows before our heart design. Ch 1 and cut off my yarn
I’ve made a few squares now I need to join them. Any videos on how I can do an invisible join? Don’t like the sc method.
Please see this way to connect your granny squares

You can decide how big you want to make it. With this one I only made a small one. Let me check and get back to you
