I used 8 ply acrylic yarn. You can use any yarn if you use thicker yarn the size will be bigger and if you use thinner yarn size will be smaller.

To make it fit for your size please take your measurements and you have to work to that. This is for small size.

R4- 50 dc to be divided in 5 for the star points (10 dc). Hope this helps let me know if you have any more questions 😊

Please add more dc unfinished to give you that volume for your stitch alternatively you can try making your dc loose that will give you more puffs, just play with it and see how you go and let me know 😊. Hope this fix your issue.

Row 4 - 4 dc in the next 4 stitches, 5th ch dc in the same stitch ( repeat) hope this help

It might be that you don’t have enough stitches or it is tight. Please make sure to used recommended hooks on your yarn. Hope this helps. Let me know if you still having issues

To start the row ch 3 then 2 dc 2gether to prevent the gap. From row 3 onwards 3 dc middle top. Hope this helps

Hi again, thanks for replying back. I understand the pattern, but where I got lost was in the beginning going into R3, where you stopped midway on R2. What I'm asking is that once you're done with R2, how many chs do ch before starting R3. Also, once you get to the top of R4, do you at any point ch 1 within the 3dcs?😊

I have used size 4 mm hook and 8 ply acrylic. You can use ang yarn just used the recommended hook size to your yarn.

Sorry to hear that - you start from 18 ch on the 4 ch from the hook you start your DC, and DC in each ch, you should DC 15x. You have 1 more ch in that last ch you will place (2DC, ch1, 2DC ) in the same stitch. You will then work on the other side for a total of 15x DC ( your 2 R1 should have 17 DC in total for both sides. R2- 17 DC, in the ch 1 space you will place ( 2 DC, ch1, 2DC) 17 DC. In every row you will be adding 2 DC into the ch 1 space. Hopefully this makes sense let me know if you’re still stuck.
