- Alexsandro Pereira is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist and former kickboxer. He currently competes in the Middleweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Israel Adesanya went up against Alex Pereira in the UFC middleweight category. Alex Pereira became the only fighter to knock out Adesanya. Now, Alex Pereira will face Israel Adesanya again at UFC 287.

It's hard for me to overstate how much I admire that fighter. His style is so unique and sharp. His mentality is on point. Favorite fighter hands down.
Yep because youre not a real mma fan. Dont get me wrong theres nothing Bad about that but you clearly have no idea how much of a Problem weight cutting and water weight is in general.
And also i wanna see him fight a well rounded and true mma fighter Who is in his weight/Size class. Alex is a cool and interesting dude but hes a kickboxer and not a real fighter

He is a knockout hunter. He is very deliberate with his intention. He will walk u down, trap you, and knock you out. All of his fights are like this. Love watchin him fight. He is a killer.

He’s fighting someone that is a heavy weight and a bad matchup skills wise.
Honestly Perreira getting a title shot so soon is a shame as it messed up the division, most people in the division can probably beat him but he never had to go through them.
He is the perfect example of a really Tall BIG person with a naturally low BMI his body is exceptionally well conditioned to his BMI like many endurance athletes due to years of train, fitness and conditioning in a range their body is good with due to metabolism and genetics. Looks like a real hard worker to. He stays lean most of the time so does not have to shed loads of fat just glycogen depletion and dehydration of a large body mass before carbing back up to an absolute beast. Would easily make heavy weight if wanted to, crazy he's not even in LH man is Super Lean. Huge respect to any human that gets into ring with him, especially at WW :O

You cannot compare his performance against Gilbert to a potential fight against Pereira.
Gilbert is short, great wrestler and grappler. He nullified one of Khamzat's best assets.
Pereira has not faced a solid wrestler grappler like Chimaev. It would be an interesting dynamic.
Chimaev was struggling to make weight at 170lbs. Naturally he should move up and test himself against the 185 guys.
@Australia mak when the difference is this large it does work. Gilbert was a SMALL WW, and gave Khamzat all he could handle, but khamzat is going to destroy a guy who is a genuine LHW size person. Makes no sense. Alex trains wrestling against Glover who is a heavy weight, he'll do just fine against khamzat.
