  • Meet the new plug-in hybrid from Lexus
Let CarGurus help you find your next car:
    www.cargurus.c...
The 2022 Lexus NX is the latest in what is now a long line of hybrid SUVs from the Japanese manufacturer. However, whereas in the past Lexus has made self-charging hybrids (and indeed it still does, including a version of the NX), this new NX represents its first attempt at a plug-in hybrid.
The NX450h+ features two electric motors and an 18kWh battery to give it an electric-only range of up to 47 miles from a charge. Paired with a 2.5-litre petrol engine, total output is 309bhp which means that, in addition to its eco-credentials, this car can get from 0-62mph in just 6.3 seconds.
In this CarGurus UK review, Rebecca Jackson puts the plug-in hybrid NX450h+ to the test by looking at its styling, practicality, technology, equipment, performance, handling, fuel economy and more.

I watched this review and something felt missing. So I watched it again.
At 2:50 Miss Jackson gets in the rear seats, and proceeds to describe the spaciousness. However, unlike other her reviews, in this review Miss Jackson doesn't say
    "I'm 5ft 4 and a half"
A line that always makes me smile. 😄
(Note: I'm also 5ft 4 but no half, so I'm not making fun of her height. It's just a statement I've gotten fond of 😄)

Anyone buying a SUV for the sportiness have not really thought things through. The NX is a perfect fit for UK roads, lots of space inside awesome comfort and excellent driving experiance. If you want a sports car get a IS instead.

    Comfort or sporty...?
That's an easy one to answer...
Just drive over any of the UK's ever-worsening, pole-holed roads and, unless you enjoy regular trips to the chiropractor, you'll soon realise that comfort is most definitely 'king'...! 😎

The Lexus NX450h is a far superior car than a Mercedes, BMW, Audi equivalent due to having a more comfortable ride, superior reliability and customer service. If you want a solid, reliable, comfortable and very well built car, then Lexus is the brand to choose.
