My Ford GT Has JOINED Another Hypercar Garage!

- I'm saying goodbye to my Ford GT as it joins an epic hypercar garage! We're at Blue Chip in Denver, Colorado, and the end of the line for this amazing tour from COTA to Pikes Peak. There's an important errand to run first at Ferrari of Denver, and then a mind blowing line-up to explore!
We kicked off in the US with the Ford GT in Texas, and the GT1 Sports Club event at Circuit of the Americas before departing on an adventure up towards Pikes Peak in Colorado. However, this particular part of the fun has come to an end, so it's a last run out for the Shmeemobile before saying farewell and leaving it in the care of the team at Blue Chip.
First up, we're stopping by Ferrari of Denver, previously visited by the likes of @TheStradman @seenthroughglass and @LifeofPalos who have helped me out with the specification of something coming in the future. From there though, it's the last leg back to Blue Chip where the team are not only storing my cars; both the GT and my Mustang Dark Horse, but also helping out getting them prepped and back to shape like a new windshield into the GT.
From the storage to workshop, and even the vault, it's safe to say we're in some pretty epic company at Blue Chip. Not only do they offer storage, but full management services and hence in a position to help me get both of my cars back to shape for what happens next down the line. A huge thanks to the full team for their help with everything during our time in Denver and going forwards.

Can't believe it's been 10 years since this was revealed. We are probably only 2/3 years away from the next Ford GT reveal.
The Mustang GTD is in many ways the next special Ford to succeed the GT

I highly doubt we will see a new GT within the next 5-10 years, as it just blew out in 2022, the GT Mark IV is still being built and the Mustang GTD is kind of the spiritual successor to the 2017+ GT program

That Allard under the 300SL was a bit of a surprise to see. Seen those flogging round silverstone with the VSCC and Bentley drivers club meets many a time. Seriously quick on track!
You should check out Guanella Pass when you get back. It is incredible to drive and passable in a Toyota Camry; all paved. Incredible views and things to see, including an abandon mining operation you can safely walk through. It connects 285 and I-70 and gets to over 12,000’.

I know it has been said, but you are an absolute legend for driving your cars as much as you do. Nothing silly, but enjoying them the way they should be. In a hundred years, your cars will be know for being well cared for, and well appreciated. BTW, the Ford GT sounds SOOOOO good.
Is that crack forming the Nurburgring. Is it a sign that it wants to go back to Germany. Lol. I still think it's amazing you actually drive your cars, especially this car which has increased in value and you drive them like they were meant to be. Amazingly honest too unlike some other automotive CZcamsrs. Not naming names. Haven't gotten tomthe Ferrari part of the video yet. Intrigued.

Not really, you don't generally have that control over production on these cars that take a couple of years to arrive with you

That windscreen is making me and my schmoo the cow nervous! You're a brave man driving what I'm presuming is a pretty firmly sprung car on bumpy roads with a massive crack in the screen. Hope you get it fixed soon.

I’ve just done a 2400 mile road trip around Colorado, South Dakota and Wyoming and I found the roads were amazingly smooth. I think you must have been unlucky to find a bumpy one.

Umm with that 300 Sl do they have the battery disconnect on with the doors open, as one of the stories leno had when he was talking about why you should have one on an older car, like his maserati 3500. was that a door was left ajar for a very long time and the bulb heated up and actually caught fire on an old 60's lincon like that, also theirs two rubber bushings that the doors sit on that's very easy to loose that costs something like 600 bucks if you drive with it open like that, so he might want to put some tape or some shoe goo on the lower half of that
matt farah brought it up when he got to drive one of those and I remember the owner telling him to be careful not to loose that lol
also with the TDF ferrari did use those quilted paterns on the 250 Lusso and I think I've seen it on other cars like a bentley, and I cant help but think I've seen that on something recently but I cant put my finger on what

F12 TDf is a nice spec. i would however have to add a touch of color somewhere, maybe some red stitching.

There's some stunning vehicles there but the LFA wins the show for me, not the most expensive, clearly not the fastest but having seen my first ever one in real life in Vancouver last year (I'm from Scotland) they're such an awesome vehicle and investment imo . . . . . .

Tarmac quality in the US is pretty random. It's the good, the bad, and the ugly and every so often there's a beautiful stretch of smooth perfect road.
