After whatever embargo you're under, will you be able to let is know your full feeling about the game, pro, cons, etc...? I want to be hype for the game, but most thing released under Paradox has been medocre at best for the past, I want to say, at least more than 3 years.

I'm not tired of Total War but dam I never imagine Legend doing another paradox game since.
It's only published by Paradox. Mount and Blade is another example of game published by paradox by developed by someone else. This was developed by C Prompt Games.

@@TtotheCizzel there would be literally nothing to complain about if the games and DLC weren't as expensive as they are. Nothing wrong with developing something like bannerlord 2 and just putting it out there for people to mod it to fuck so you can essentially get hundreds of different game experiences out of it, but be open about it and price it accordingly.
Our favorite streamer trying to find cheese in a new game like a skaven trying to find warp stone, this is very legendary...

This is how you do a let’s play. You clearly put a lot of effort to showcase this game and I really appreciate it.
I really like how the map is laid out, compared to civ maps where its very macro design (if tha makes sense). Here its more zoomed in, forests are bigger , mountains feel like actual mountains,etc.
I didn't actually think about that but you are right, feels like it flows in together a bit better rather than the patch work look.
Yeah, i always tried to play the biggest maps in Civ games because of this reason, especialy the massive earth maps but it still didnt feel as i would have wished, but in this game its pretty much in the right spot for me at least.@@winndypops
Looks like Civ5 type graphics for the map.
I think my favorite generated maps in a 4x is age of wonders 4.

This looks a lot better than I thought it would be. It's like, if they took Civ 6 in the opposite direction that Firaxis did after Civ 5. The artstyle reminds me of an HD remix of Civ 4 and Civ 5 which makes me smile. Thanks for taking the sponsorship!
Can't wait for release, demo was an amazing experience, even if short-lived, and what I'm seeing from other content creators really puts a smile on my face.
If you still have the demo installed, you can launch the game from the exe in the folder and it will still run ;)

I found Local Reforms to be really powerful in the early game since it boosts ALL ressources in the city, which includes knowledge, culture and improvement points, and since you only have a capital city at the start it helps with growing and building it quickly
Super happy with the decision of showcasing this for us, already watched Pravus do his take on it and am looking forward to see yours.
Edit: FYI, there is a roll back on unit movements avaliable, so you can roll back actions by troops and help with early game scouting.
i love how legend is like "i always like to play the games a bit before i accept anything... anyway i have about 100 hours in this game now" 🤣

Tbh I wasn't expecting to see Millenia here but I as hell won't complain at all, I've been following this game recently and it looks promising!
This game does a really good job at slowly introducing new mechanics in an organic way. Super good implementation of a 4x game (not that its perfect). Looks good to me.

I love how this truly feels like a civilization builder. The tech you research are things that get individually invented multiple times and innovation are those special techs each culture find out.

Paradox smelling opportunity with the state of Total War right now?
This seems like a really nice Civ clone, I like what they did a lot. The pacing seems to be much better, I think that's because you have so many ways to get the troops you want early, while not committing to 15 turns of settlement production. I like the province mechanics too, and the way armies work. Seems like they took a lot of the good things from the Total War series, being able to group units and split them from older TW games, and put it in at just the right spot for a Civ game to help the pacing out significantly. Lot of interesting little adjustments which seems like it makes for a much more fun game than Civ.
Paradox are kinda dangerous with that right now. They killed off Sim City, they might kill Sims, now they're going after Civilization. They have a good hand in waiting for large series to falter and then jumping in with superior products.
@@hafor2846 yeah that's what I was implying, there's enough similarities with this game to Total War that I had to ponder it for a minute.

I wonder what games are under the "complete trash" section of your steam game list
They might have nerfed it since (idk) but a fee months ago they had a demo of this game were you could play 40 turns (might have been 60, I forget) and a guy actually beat the entire game thanks to the raiders tradition & getting the Age of Blood. Map size had to be the default & pangea so he could get there in time but he finished on the final turn of the demo.

I played this game in beta and it was pretty interesting! The future stuff wasn't in beta sadly cuz that looked the most interesting but that makes me real excited to watch this and see!

This was awesome. However, if you use the war experience tab. you can click on reinforcements. it will heal your invading army as long as it is not in the enemy domain faster then waiting for them to heal on their own.
Cool to see you dabble with something else again, love the content! I was wondering if you still play anno 1800 and if so, could you show off a save built up with all the dlc? I enjoy base game but there is a crap ton of dlc and wanted your opinions as I know you also enjoy it.
Paradox has a clever marketing team to notice your interest for their games and hire you.

As a kid I'd play Civ 3 for hours or sit on my dad's lap whilst I watched him play. It'll always have a place in my heart so I'll probably check this game out
