I have daily ride of 40 km. Do I need to change to ev. Did Ather will pull in hills with pillion..Is the "belt"will be an issue in ride?
I bought Ather 450X 3 weeks ago and recently i noticed some weirdo noise from scooter( kat-kata-kat-kattttt-kat 🤣) when I checked the belt was loose and came to the other side 💔 then i approached to ather service centre around 16km from my place. I was pretty scared hoping not to get break down in between (was damn scared man)🤣 fortunately service team quickly checked over all for other issues and fixed it. By the time had a cup of coffee and was relaxing at there showroom 🤣😛 honestly they are committed to customer service ❤️ I liked it.

As per seeing lot of videos about EV I come to conclusion the bldc hub motor variant is better than belt driven variant and facing lot of problems in ola and ather.Even local made vehicles with hub motor giving thier best after one year performance like hero,ampere and pure ev.

No this is Ather making it's cutomers fools by make it mandatory service by using low quality parts.
I completed 12500 km till date no belt issue some time manufacturing defect comes any how should take subscription plan if you using more than 80km per day you will save some money.

I praise +35,000 kms no repairs at all ,no service done till date,(Okinawa didn't provide service in srikakulam) changed brake pada 2 times (apache 160 brake pads) front fork oil seals damaged &changed

Thanks for this informative video.. somehow I think the whole purpose of having an electric is hassle-free life and less running cost. I canceled my Ather booking and went for Suzuki Burgman street and frankly it's found out to be more practical and value for money.

I had faced the same ISSUE the front brakes were gone and was making a lot of noise... I called up the ather team and they said u don't hav a subscription plan so they can't come n pick it up.... I logged into my account and there was credits rewarded back because I had opted for ather connect pro but Adu 15th may thanka free ide... So they rewarded the points back then I purchased ather service pack and they picked up my bike and replaced the pads the accelerater handle and rear fender and grips and mirror for not even a SINGLE RUPEE I even had a belt sound issue even that was fixed.... I kindly suggest Ather owners to do that....

I feel ather products are not that great, if we have to purchase their subscription plan than what is the point of getting EV on the first place. Subscription Plan amount can be used to refill petrol. This subscription plan doesn't make any sense. Revolt services are free of cost or very less cost. Right Now buying Ather has no advantage over other competitors.

Very irritating sound coming what should i do ... Gone to the service center too but they said the rain dirt goes with the belt and sound comes like this ... I experienced worst experience from Ather, my bike had indicator light issue on the 6th day after purchase. It took me 2 visits to the service centre to get it fixed. They don't respect or value our time

Nobody can beat Amazon's RSS (Road Side Service). The lazy bugs are not ready to deliver the items ordered to home. One needs to come to road (sometimes even more than 100m) to take delivery. What a service!! 👏😴

I am not a celebrity to get special status . Quality levels of the spares need improve but service response was quick , I have few of my friends who all ride ather and they got better service then this

My ather 450x belt is giving issue in the middle of the road in Pune city! I called the RSA, they took 30 mins to assign a service provider and now they are saying it will take another 90 mins to pick the vehicle. I am stuck post workout drenched in sweat and it's raining. Most pathetic service of Ather! Design issues like no proper mudguard to safeguard the vehicle interior area. Horrible accumulation of mud in the vehicle. And in 3 months, belt is giving issue.
How much is the subscription cost..?
They will notice that crack ,because its a common issue and ather is working on it. So there will be order from ather to change that part without any asking.

I was one among the first customers of Chennai and clocked 33k kms.
It is a nightmare after the warranty. Sold the vehicle due to exorbitant price of spares and service.
And forgot to update the latest belt cost is Rs 4724 as on date Feb 22 2022. It was Rs 3000 at launch and increased to Rs 4724 and I am sure it would keep increasing
Throttle rate is 2532. Think after warranty
We have 3 Ather used Rough and Tough for Office, 3 year we have completed 51K, 48K and 44K NO Hassle in Maintenance. The BEST EV Available in India 🇮🇳

Looks like these BEV scooty is not reliable and costs a ton to maintain or one has to pay in advance for repair. I guess these scooties were not tested enough for reliability as they should last a minimun period so should be replaced free of cost as defect in quality.
