Curry Mee is very similar to Lao Khao Poon.
Mee mean noodle in Lao language.
Khua Mee is a Lao stir fried noodle.
Lemang is identical to Lao Khao Lam.

An arab American watching you from Dallas TX.
Watching food in the making and appreciating it gives a good meaning to life.
Your presentation is simple and natural.
Great work.
What a great treat! Watching so many delicious foods from one episode. Adopting the local culture. Using fingers to pick up the food. High-quality video.
I love all your compilation videos, and this one from Malaysia is especially fine. Thanks a lot for sharing. Malaysia is for me one of the best places in the world for food. I especially love Roti Canai for breakfast, everything fishy, and Laksa Penang.

Malaysia is the spiritual home of fusion food.
Great advise, mate. Will try all that in a couple of months.
Your compilation style videos are ideal at night, so I don’t lose too much sleep because I can’t stop watching your great videos 😂❤
From the introduction time being clean cut till the end with a bearded look, it looks like a helluva journey about food & travel. Appreciate the content dude !! 😊
Loved the compilation Luke, thanks for sharing. How about if you can do one for Singaporean or Korean (Seoul) food 😆
Wow! This admittedly is the 1st video I have ever seen from you Luke, but I'm very impressed, bravo!!! 👏👏👏 You really know a lot about food, all the different ingredients, the different descriptions in look, presentation, taste, flavor, cooking method, etc. I strongly suggest people doing food reviews, over internet AND TV, to watch this and learn how to do a proper, more in-depth, more attractive and more informative review instead of merely repeating ummm sedappp...!
Again, kudos to you kid, keep it up! 👍
Thank you so much Jon!
The host has a great sense of adventure and is imbued with the love of eating
Awesome compilation video, Mr. Martin! Love the chapters too. You sure have a remarkable bank of outrageously good content there. Great work!
Thanks Hamish!
Best show EVER! Thanks
Luke, you left many food tubers empty on words to appraise what we saw tonight. Yes a compilation, a spectrum pretty comprehensive that I didnt identify at least 10 of them. So kudos, I have to watch this a few more times. You have the tools , scope, editing knowhow to make this an apocalypse of Malaysian food and beverage scene to Malaysians. This video must have spanned Malaysia, taken hundreds of hours of short videos to produce this maximus compilation.
Great video dude. Very mouth watering
Thank you for great video on promotion Malaysia!
Great video Luke
I was born in Brunei, Borneo and moved to the US in 1968, I wish I had some of that food back then, I remember Satay, Nasi Goreng, and some noodles dishes, would love to go back for the food you showed, get video!
Nice!! Would love to go Malaysia soon!! Thanks for sharing, much love from Singapore 💕
Oh girl, you can literally just grab your bag and car keys, walk out your door, and drive for 1 hour, and you can have many of those food depicted in here yourself in or around JB, and be home again before the end of the day (only to repeat the next day, and the next weekend!) 😬
Yes..I welcome...pls drive in speed limit only. K. Nothing to rush n safe journey. 😂
I'm gonna save your video for ramadhan. This is a perfect list my man.
Those Lemang with Rendang are to die for. I wish we could find a place serving that in Singapore 😭
😂
Omg adding me to your list 😢.
I love this video ❤
thank you for featuring most of the 'must have' food when you are in Malaysia. My favourite shop is the banana cake (nor bread) which I have been consuming since I was 8 years old and now I am 48! There's also another old traditional (6th generation now) bakery the name is Salahuddin Bakery....established in the early 1900. Still using traditional charcoal oven method in Johor Bahru. You should try Mee Rebus which is the signature dish of Johor....hope you'll be back and review more food!
left malaysia since 1997. have not been back since. def brings back a lot of memories
Wow, you have tasted 35 Varieties of food. As a Malaysian, I am not adventurous enough to try some of those?
Thank you for promoting my country and all the delicious foods. God bless 🙏
Super craving!!! I've been missing Malaysia for the longest time and this video didn't help at all! I want to go there now. HAHAHA
WoW. Enjoyed that.
Awesome video
Clay Pot Rice is a Southern Chinese dish. Best is to leave the rice at the bottom and sides crisp up from the heat of the clay pot while just mixing the top and center. Char Kway Teow had the char from the high heat of the wok, and what you smelled was more the wok essence rather than the charcoal. That Chinese sausage is a regional variation from Malaysia/Singapore as it has a nice sweetness to it, unlike most Chinese sausage.
This is the Mamak Mee goreng and not many places now sell this type of Mee goreng. Bringing me back to my time when I was a child.
bro, this compilation of very good foods make me hungry lah 🤤
Street food very nice👍
nice video good one.
I'm going there for 3 months coming January
I also never try the Ais Tingkap but I know it is delicious by the combination of the ingredients. By the unknown ingredient names Kembang Semangkuk (Scaphium Affine) and Getang Anggur (Grape Gum/tragacanth Gum) also you can found it in "Lai Chi Kang" drink. Its a lot of benefit.
The same kembang semangkuk & grape gum used in katira also..
Kembang semangku good for chicken pox too
The name suggests ‘expanding in a bowl’, put it in a glass of water and after sometime the whole glass is full with it
Nice variety food ur show, ,look delicious
Wow number 8, otak2 with fish flesh seketul. Aduh meleleh air liur. No 9 lemang, i believe its in KIJAL TOWN, TERENGGANU.. 🤤🤤
Never knew you went to my hometown, Sabah. Next time you should try our fish noodle soup!
Next time!
Wow Luke My Good Friend These Top 3 Videos Are My Most Amazing And Favorite Of All Time which are the top 35 Malaysian Street Foods Video and the Japanese Street Foods Video And The 38 Taiwanese Street Foods Video Across This Very Nice And Very Interesting Land Of Taipei Taiwan 👍😎😁👏👏👏🇺🇸
Kembang semangkuk, is the basil seeds when you soak the seeds in water will basically "kembang" means swells and "semangkuk" means a bowl, which is what happens when you put just a small spoonful of basil seeds soaked in a bowl of water. It's my favourite drink but i normally have soaked basil seeds with rose syrup in iced water..it's a cooling drink great to have during hot weather.
Basil seeds is selasih, kembang semangkuk lain...
Kembang semangkuk = malva nuts

A very nice vidoe
Wonderful. If you see the BEST part of the Malaysian Cooking is the integration of 'nature', 'elements' and the food ingredients - the usage of leaves, bamboo stems, shells etc, with air/water/fire...and eat with hands... this is one of the choicest best. Respect from Indian Cooking, living in the US.
Food look so delicious
Love Malaysia food!
