I think most people are missing out on the best feature of these amps, the adjustable DSP. It is possible to tailor the sound to your liking using ACP workbench. Beyond EQ adjustments you can also customize things like bass enhancement, harmonic excitation and stage depth effects. With just a few adjustments the sound can be transformed, worth trying for sure.

Hello, I bought the Arylic B50. And no matter what I do, I notice a whooshing noise that only occurs as soon as I play sound through whatever input source. Can anyone help?

I would reach out to their support on that one, I didn't experience it.

I've lived with the B50 for a few months and I'm ready to give up on it. I'm using it as a soundbar replacement and the ARC connection just isn't reliable enough. It seems to come on automatically about half the time. So I end up powering on the amp manually which defeats the entire purpose of having ARC in the first place. Also, it's cool that it has a sub out, but the implementation is weird. For the crossover you can choose 50, 100, 150, or 200Hz. Nothing in between. Cool idea, poor implementation.

I agree with you on the pre amp use. Drop the phono in put and make it just an RCA input so I can choose my own phono pre. I am waiting for Fosi to build one of these. Cheers 🍻 👏 ✌

Yep, the phono is likely one of the least used inputs on these so may as well add more flexibility with another standard input.

I've struggled to add Sonos fives as front speakers room-grouped with a Beam and rears for tv and stereo listening. The sync is fine , contrary to popular opinion. I've ended up with a poor man's Quadraphonic! Even with the Ikea remote control, it's still a bit schizo if I want to use the Chromecast remote for volume. It's really tempting to sell all of the Sonos stuff and go for the Arylic or the Klipsch Sevens. But I do like being able to add in those rear speakers for 'space.'

Got the B50, definitely as a soundbar substitute. Will soon get a pair of Polk T50 on Clearance and I'm good! May add a sub later, depends. I'm sure that will beat similarly priced soundbars by miles. And I don't need the soundbar's built in apps as I have all that stuff on my phone. And Bluetooth 5 will help with the quality. I don't have any of those music subscriptions anyway, so the quality isn't going to be reference level anyway.

I know this is over 4 months ago and things in the D-class lane change weekly, but.... The Arylic B50 is only $104 during their 30% off Christmas sale, and BP50 is priced at $76, so comparing the B50 amp and the BP 50 pre-amp, the amplifier section is worth only about $30 at retail. That is not a bad premium for what you get! The H50 is $279. That seems more in line with the super saturated market for BT, WiFi, and Streamers of all kinds. However, even at the lower $$, I would expect a true line-out.
More on the plus side... the H50 and the BP50 seem to share the same DAC. The ESS ES9023P DAC, 192kHz/24bits. That would make the BP50 an even better deal, even if you have to purchase an external Class D amplifier to go with it!

This would definitely be better as a preamp. An updated version of the s50 pro + with this featureset would be the best option and make a lot more sense as there are few options like this in the market. As an amp and as you said the competition is fierce and one can pair them with a wiim pro (or the plus version with a better dac) or a similar product and end up with an overall better solution. The featureset is their strong suit and that is what they should be focusing on (preamp). Oh and keep the 12v triggers among other inputs 😀

The preamp side is wild with the shear number of features they jam on these. The right person may want the amp and keep things all in one but at the same time so many people already have an amp they favor but would gladly include this as a pre for things like hdmi.

@@MattCoykendall1 i understand the desire for a minimalistic all in one approach but i think i prefer to have an aditional box (or 2) and have the featureset + improved sound quality. If i have to choose, i'll loose a couple of features and keep the sound quality. in my opinion a fully packed s50 pro + v2 is the way to go. just ditch the speaker outs and add more inputs. 😀
