I agree with some of the other comments, These small Chinese amps do sound great in the near field or in small rooms and Arylic and the new Fosi BT20 pro are probably the best of the bunch. But either turn them up to fill a bigger room, or give them a 85db or lower speaker to drive in a bigger room and the treble starts to ring like a bell. They are definitely getting better all the time though.
Thanks again for a great demo. It's a classic, Class AB vs Class D comparison. Sure, it is close BUT the Yam has more bass and is less thin and bright. The B50 will get annoying after about 30 mins. Save your money and get a Class AB amp.
The beauty of amps with good DSP capiabilities is you can adjust the sound any which way you like.
The MV silicon DSP chip includes the DAC AFIK. The optional ACP workbench software allows access to the parameters.

Sound quality wise, is this comparable to the Fosi TB10D reviewed earlier?
Likely due to 30 years around loud machinery I much prefer the Fosi over my Yamaha and Pioneer stereo receivers. If it had all the Arylic B50 features and perhaps a preamp output it would be my end all
I think they sounded as good as one another.
The crossover is _actually_ a _crossover_ , not just a low pass filter for the subwoofer output - that's a big deal of this amplifier! The selected frequency is both the low pass of the subwoofer output _and_ the high pass of the speaker outputs.
Do you / does anyone know the real wattage of this amplifier? I'm not interested in 4 ohms, so I'm wondering if it's really 30 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms, at full bandwidth, low THD, etc. (not less)?
Just wondering where did you buy yours from, I don't see this model on Amazon uk
