  • After Halloween is known before Halloween and I always put my fog machine after Halloween in the closet and get them out again only Halloween. So that my fog machines after a year of standing also again powerful fog I clean my fog machines before I put them in the closet. The cleaning of the fog machine is uncomplicated and done in 5 minutes. Due to the fog fluid it can happen (it doesn't have to happen) that the thin tubes in the fog machine stick together if you don't use it for a long time. Then a costly repair may be necessary or you need a new one.
This would be a pity, because preparing a fog machine for hibernation is very simple and does not require much time.

great video, I just got myself a Haze machine, specific the Eurolite NH-30. In the manual it says that you have to do this everytime after a session. You can't leave the fog fluid in the container? This seems very time consuming

Yes I also do this after every season. But it's not that time consuming I think. Okay it may take 15 to 30 minutes for my 2 fog machines, but that's ok for me. Maybe the Haze machine is a more complicate to clean? I think one can leave the fluid in the container AFTER cleaning the pipes, because that's the point. The pipes have to cleaned. But I remove the fluid completely because I use the original box to store the fog machine, and I cannot close this box when I leave the lid on the fluid container :-(

Aren’t you supposed to put fog fluid back in the tank to keep the seals lubricated?

A good question. I loose a fog machine while I left fog fluid inside. The thin pipes stuck. So I had to replace a pipe, but in the end I had to buy a new fog machine. But maybe it depends on the composition of the fog fluid 🤷🏻‍♂️

That's what I have been told. Keeps Air out of the system and keeps it lubed. I learned that the hard way for years.

the little tube broke. (In Arizona, hot garage)
    Is that replaceable?

Good question. I hadn't replaced those tubes yet. But if you are talking about the ones which are mostly transparent (made of plastic order rubber or something like that) those should be replacable. But I hadn't done that yet :-(

Strange saving distilled water which I’m pretty sure costs like under $1 a gallon but thanks for the video😂

Yeah, it would seem strange to countries say like the United States and others, which are mostly a disposable consumer wasteful society. It makes sense.
Some countries, however save everything.. materials, food, etc. and try not to waste anything… whether it’s a dollar distilled water or whatever you have around the house. My family is like that.
