10 year owner review of my 2006 Mustang GT with a Procharger Supercharger system installed along with many other supporting mods such as ARH longtube headers with high-flow cats and a pypes mid muffler system. The exhaust setup sounds very aggressive and deep. The car sits on a set of Vossen CV1 wheels and the suspension has been upgraded with Tokico D-Spec Shocks/Struts and Eibach Sportlines springs along with some BMR goodies underneath. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Say what you want, you may not agree, but the 05-09 Mustang 3V is the best looking mustang model, the best sounding V8 mustang engine, but not the fastest. 11-14 Mustang is still a great looking S197 but has that beautiful 5.0 engine, the power though.. But 3v still sounds best.
S197 is currently still the best modern, and retro looking Mustang out there.
11-12 is the sweet spot you get best of both worlds
05-09 best looking, the 2v is the best sounding next the the voodoo.
I agree with everything except best sounding I’d say 4v , 2v , then 3v as far as sound.

Most underrated no.. they’re actually shit lol huge lawsuit for their shitty transmission, garbage rods, mediocre power, straight axle (no irs). Most underrated was definitely the og svo‘s with the turbo 4 cylinder.
Too each their own though. I have a new found love for the 3v. Thinking about getting one myself or a 03/04 cobra (dream car) but they’re not a fast car by any means and any serious power adder is pushing the rods on the 3v

My wife has owned her 06 gt in the dark tungsen silver for 9 years now we got it with 14k miles just hit 80k miles she has always babby'd the car...only drove the car to work and home wich was just a 10 mile commute..the car is in mint condition...at 1 point we thought about upgrading to a 2014 5.0, the 06 at the time had 40k miles the sales man jumped to conclusions it being a 06 he guesstimated the car to have 100k miles 😳 smh 🤦...the 06 was paid off and I had 2k in cash to put on top of a trade in they were not trying to work any type of deal or show any leanancy, was at that moment I thought about child support and pulled out...she still has the car, we have done full suspension from bmr and some sr performance,camber plates,Hurst billet comp shifter,exceedy stage 3 clutch,exhaust,carbon driveshaft ,and some engine bolt ons happy with it so far tons of upgrades coming in the future

Nice. I'm thinkin about getting a pro charger on my 2008 GT but i got so many miles not sure if worth it. 129K now. Runnin real strong still and road course tracked.

I had an 06 with a DSS racing 4.6 3V motor with a psc1 Procharger. It put 517 hp to the wheels and 460 ft lbs torque. I miss her. She was black and her name was "Shaniqua". Thanks for sharing the video. She's in Ohio under new ownership and he put an F1A Procharger in her and now she does like 825hp now. Did I mention how much I miss her?

Pro charged 3v, recommend or not?
you need a larger blow off valve. The shuttering is from air passing back through the blower and shooting out the air filter. bad for the blower.
If you lack torque. You should add a intake ford racing manifold.

The Coyote is good in its way and the 3Valve is a good Retro and deep-sounding machine. 3-v Super-charged is no chump.

Usually Flowmaster 40s sound best on carburated engines had some on my c10 chevy...but personally for the s197 05-09 my favorite is the borla s its not as aggressive as the attack but sound is gold.

Jeff, just watched your video. One negative comments, but very constructive, is that your air intake filter is sitting directly above your HOT exhaust header. Ok your thinking, "but I have louver's in my hood above it to let in cool air". Sorry but not air rises, and those louver's are disigned to let the heat out, not air in. Sooo. Your engine is sucking in HOT air all the time, NOT a good thing. Move it and you'll save your engine and pick-up more h.p.

Jeff Ashton I just bought a procharger for my 3v. I'm considering a dyno tune but a hand help is so much cheaper. what did you go with?

I'm kinda confused tbh. I thought being procharged it sounds a little whiney slightly but getting off the gas goes PSHHHHH no like a turbo flutter with no BOV? Anyone know why?

I have a 3V 07 gt with 42K miles that I'm going to throw a rousch roots tvs2300 blower lt headers and full suspension big clutch and Mickey T with 373's. I love the way these cars set and look my FAVE mustang body style hands down

I have an S197, was thinking about getting a Mishimoto radiator, guess not... I thought I was going to get a used Procharger because I like the way they sound, guess not... Was thinking about getting a Hurst shifter, guess not... It already isn't my daily driver, just bought it because I wanted something to use as a toy and that's my favorite recent body style. What mods would you recommend for the shifter and radiator?
Arthur Nava I want to switch to a Barton on my s197. The Mishimoto has a lifetime warranty but it's a hassle to go through that process.

My bro. You need a bigger bypass valve. flutter is ALWAYS BAD! Your current BPV is too small, you’re running too much boost for that one. Try the big red race valve from ProCharger. The flutter is putting additional pressure on your head unit and will wear it out much faster. Get that fixed ASAP! Dope ride tho man!

I still have my Hurst shifter...it works great! No fucking way is the stock shifter isn't even 1% better then the Hurst! Lmao! There are better shifters then the Hurst, I would of went barton first if I could do it all over.....but I happy with the Hurst enough where I can't justify upgrading.
