- Mark & Atom Eve Start A Family Together | Invincible COMICS Explained #invincible #shorts #comics After the Birth of Mark’s Daughter Terra, he needs some time to gather himself so he walks out into the hallway and runs into Anissa the Viltrumite who abused him, who whispers that she misses Mark as she puts a hand on his shoulder and walks away, leaving Mark shaking with Anger but still not ready to do anything about it because he’s infront of his father. As Nolan and Anissa go off to attend to some business, Mark returns to Eve and tells her that he’ll never leave her again, and she tells him not to insult her, because she isn’t some scared c hild who can’t be left alone, she’s been a superhero longer than Mark and can handle herself. From here Eve explains to Mark that the last time he left her it was to go find Angstrom Levy because MAYBE he’d return someday, but this time is different, this time she knows the reason Mark has to leave is to ACTUALLY save the planet, so as Mark makes a joke about getting back Together Atom eve tells him to shut up and uses her powers to make him a completely restored Invincible Suit, as these two get back together for the last time, and Mark goes out to save the universe.

The best part about the Invincible comics is that there is an actual progression of time lol. No sliding scales, no (permanent) time resets. Theres a start, and a finish, and consequences along the way.
I can’t wait to see this in the show, hopefully Amazon keeps renewing it
