My own power bill in Montana went from an average of about $107 last month, to $163 this month. Just from the June '22 to the July '22 bill. I can't wait to see August's tab, with a/c running about 16-18 hours per day. I won't be surprised to see $225, and if the 35% holds, it'll be more. This reflects the fact that my supplier is buying wind power... you know, the source that will "save" us from ourselves... I'm sick of the Green New Deal, with all its transfer of wealth from the public's pockets, to some obscure group of so-called elites.
Mine in Alabama is OVER 400.00 + the last few months...no relief in sight & I keep thermostat @ 74. I distrust Kay I've. SHE wheels & deals in the backroom. If it isn't Montgomery down or coastal issues then don't bother her. Period. IMHO.

I'm a disabled senior citizen and I have to live off of less than $900 per month. After I pay my bills I have less than $100.00 to buy food, gas and medicine. Many States have given their struggling seniors who live on a small limited income, stimulus checks. The government has given all the states money and Louisiana has not helped us seniors with any money to help ease our financial problems. Please know that many of us are struggling everyday and it's getting worse everyday. Thank You and God Bless.

My monthly "Utility" Bill has me living in fear. This winter I expect it to be more costly than my Mortgage. I was able to plan for my Mortgage when we purchased our home in 2019 in Alabama, but I had no idea that our monthly energy bill (UTILITIES) would more than double in 2021 and 2022! I'm retired and there is nothing I can do to guarantee that we can continue living in our home. We purchased a very reasonably prices home with a modest Mortgage. Last winter the Utility Bill hit $550 in the worst month. If this winter it's more than that, it shall eat up what small savings we have and if it uses all of it how do we eat if we even get a flat tire that requires replacement with nothing to pay for even such an inconsequential occurrence. I am a retired Senior Engineer with a pretty good SS income. I can imagine other retired couples with a smaller income what they are facing these day's. (Trains, subways, busses, airplanes) It's all about control, and the elites ability to ensure the safety of not just themselves and families now, but also the future in an increasingly dangerous world for the people who control most of the worlds wealth.

The truly sad thing and one that is greatly overlooked is it only takes weeks to shut down a plant or a refinery, or other facility. It takes months or even years to recommission one. The damage is done and it's going to be a very long time before we return to some sense of normalcy even if the GOP captures the house, the senate, and eventually the white house

@@damrgee8279 I'm gonna guess the reason he won't.. Because if successful, that puts Kamala as POTUS, Nancy Pelosi as VP, and that would only be possible when/if Republicans take back House/Senate, but because Dems are in power of all 3, articles of impeachment wouldn't make it any further than the ones that are already on the Speakers desk, that have been ignored from the very first one presented to her.. In this particular situation we're in right now, we have to pick our battles. There's really no "good" option at the moment, and we could end up making an already bad situation, worse. 🤷🏻♀
