Ikr! My mum's family lives in the Philippines. Visited there when I was 16 for 2 months and happened to arrive not long after a typhoon had just passed. Had no electricity or running water for the first week. I fortunately got to stay at my grandma's house which had indoor plumbing. Most of my relatives live in similar conditions to Rose's and they were kind enough to bring us buckets of water each day for showers. They have to go all the way down to the well to get water each day to bathe so Ed should be grateful that he's got a nice, private barrel of water and hose. Thankfully I only saw 2 big rats while I was there haha.
