Hey, that was cool seeing me! Haha, thanks for the feature WonderMommaOG! Blessings and hope you keep on keeping on!
Also absolutely loved the "Making of the video" section at the end! You did such a great job on this!
HI! Thank you for stopping by! I love your channel. I have used you in several of my videos already. Thanks for taking the time to come by and say hi! You shall get my pinned comment for this video. (It usually goes to the first reactor to comment on a video they're in).
I’m loving the acoustic making of portions at the end. So far I’ve never heard any of them and they’re always cool
@WonderMommaOG amazing job with all your vids. I started watching Jame akal Jamal 3yrs ago and haven't stopped watching different reactors.
Momma, no one....i mean NO ONE puts together a reaction anywhere close to what you do Lady! BRAVO...
💬 This song came out the year I was born. 1972. (EDIT: NOPE, that's wrong, song came out in 1975!) Was a “ten second song” for me the first time I heard it… I loved it immediately ten seconds in. It’s still a banger.
The amazing intro/outro cover is by Sierra and Chase Eagleson and there is a link in the description (look for the purple music notes). I hope you all enjoy this one. I need to do something more upbeat for the next project.
Onto the next! 💜
Nice! How about doing Uriah Heep - Look at Yourself.
Kindred spirits! I was born in 1970. This song fills me with nostalgia. Those were simpler times and there was something special about the music we grew up with. Can’t quite put my finger on it. Thanks for the video!
P.S. - Just saw the post about losing your dad. I’m so sorry for your loss. Lost mine almost 5 years ago and I still miss him every single day. Sending you comfort and healing vibes. ❤
Great old song! Takes me back to 5th grade! Lol❤
Hello WM💜 What about Stevie Nicks collaboration? She's got sn Arsenal of songs, some from Fleetwood Mac but her solo career was Fire!! Edge of Seventeen! It'd be awesome! Take care much love ❤️ 😍 from Cali ✨️
Had longevity as well....was always on AM radio at the beach as a kid in the mid to late 70's.
Always a great day when momma drops 🩷
Hey you! Appreciate you showing some love. 💜💜
Seconded!
My local rock station would play this at midnight every Sunday night.
Ours had "Maggot Brain" Sunday night at 2.00a. WMMS. Long live The Buzzard!
Cool 😎
"That song sounds like what I think acid feels like " best quote ever!
This song spoke to my soul before I was old enough to know why ❤❤
Went back to the 70's for a sec. Sure wish I could of stayed. 🎸
I remember when a bud Richard played this "new" 8 Track of Gary Wright's "Dream Weaver", in his Chevelle. He pulled over and turned everything off all but the ignition and the Craig and boom we were gone. We listened to the whole album, which is exceptional, but of course the albums title song carrys the flag. Those early, mid and late 70's summers and the great music, occurred on another planet than the one we are on now, sorry so many of you missed it. Thanks to people like WonderMomma and these Reactors, we get to catch and re-experience the echos before they completely fade away. Thank for the blast from the past, I was I back there for just a minute.
1975. Not 1972. (I literally have the album right next to me.) Here's a track that will live as long as music is played. Every face in this video was me the first time I heard it, too. For me, without Gary Wright there was no Gary Numan, NIN, Depeche Mode, and so on and so on. Lyrics that make me suddenly miss everyone I've ever lost. Makes one sad and happy at the same time. And one can't help but think, that whatever's out there, that's what we want it to sound like. RIP Dream Weaver.
Another good one from that album is. My love is alive
This song was on the first album I bought with allowance money. I was in the first grade. It was a multi artist compilation. Others on the album were Heart, the Silvers, Kiss, Alice Cooper, so many others. What a time to be alive!
An all-star at every position! My first album with my own money was 1975-the Jaws soundtrack. (I was a weird kid. Now I'm a weird grown-up.) Still my fave movie! Thank you.
Another cool one, Momma! I hope you are doing well and feeling better. Better as can be. 🙏 Loved this song back in the day as a teen, I’d be 16. Good group of reactors, know most of them. Jamel just crossed the 1M mark, props to him. Love seeing the behind the scenes part, too. Always.
❤
Joe
Good music is able to span generations,,,,,💥💥💥👍😎
Oh man the flashbacks that go with this tune.
Buddy getting his big brothers van, then us having what would become known as a "Spicoli" moment.
"The colors man, check out the colors." Thats when you know you had some good shit. No stems, no seeds, just pure sticky bud.
Don't know what I mean, ask your wild and crazy Uncle. He'll probably just smile back at you.
I was ten years old when this song came out. I've loved it ever since. Bravo 👏. Keep up the outstanding work.
Reminds me of my life as a teenager. No worries, fun with friends, talking on the phone forever…radio always on
I have liked that song ever since I first heard it in the 70s. I was born the year this song came out.
Great day when you drop WM❤ makes me smile. This is my 5th grade dance song! Enjoy 😉
This song as well as Eric Carmen’s All By Myself definitely takes me back. Ty WMOG- still thinking of you. ❤
Thank you Jill. I really appreciate that.
Awesome song. So many memories. Nice choice Momma
Awesome ! ✌️❤️🇨🇦
This song for me will forever be accompanied by a visual of Tia Carrere wailing on her bass!!😂
Exactly 😆
Absolutely love Gary Wright, this song, this album. Brings back lots of memories. Great pick WonderMomma!
My favorite bar song from back-in-the-day!!🤘🏼🙌🏻❤️
Fantastic.!.! I will never forget this concert, one of my all-time favorites. Thank you so much for all your hard work WonderMomma. You have brought back to life some of my most treasured memories. Peace and blessings.
So great, thanks Momma and keep dreaming ❤️ , everybody is always here with you 🤗
Thank you so much. 💜💜
Growing up with this classic, those 70 sounds were awesome. Thanks so much, bring back memories. Thanks Momma!!!!! Great Job!!!!

Thank you so much for the support, either way. I realize you could spend your time and energy on just about anything else, so I appreciate you being here.
That was a great reaction… the “making of the video”, and that accoustic version at the end was INCREDIBLE… Thank you soo much… 👏👏👏
Love your compilations Momma thank you for sharing
One of my all-time faves, ever since I used to hear it played on AM radio. When I was 5-6 I loved listening to my little AM radio underneath my pillow at night as I fell asleep, this song and Fly Like an Eagle were my 2 favorite nighttime AM radio bedtime songs. Great work as always, Momma! You're on fire!
Brings me back to the golden AM Radio golden hits and Soul Train on the TV
Such a beautiful nostalgic song.
Nobody does this better than you Momma😊thanks so much ❤
One of my teenage faves! My b/f gave me a hard time when I bought the album but within weeks he was playing it himself . Great compilation Momma! Thanks so much 😊
This is music from my youth, and I love all these coherent responses that you have collected. More please!
Ohhhh! Another excellent choice! Some of my fave reaction channels here too 😊 Thank you!
This song came out in 1975 but reached the Billboard top 40 in 1976
Fun choice! Great editing as always! Sound quality excellent! This song has been a part of the soundtrack of my life. Like you said, it's a "ten second song." When I was 5, I got a Panasonic handheld transistor AM radio for Christmas in 1971. Back in the early 70s as the the psychedelic 60s were still tapering off (or not...), Prog-rock was in it's infancy. Synthesizers were being experimented with musically and this song really demonstrates 'atmospherics'. Just consider that Pink Floyd's 'Obscured By Clouds' also released in '72, were Gary Wrights contemporaries. In 1973 'Dark Side of the Moon' unleashed upon the globe. So, who was influenced by who? 'Dream Weaver' has always been there, but had fresh life breathed into it by Wayne's World in 1992. It can also be heard in one of the 'Ice Age' movies as well as 'Toy Story 3.' GG WMOG!
so many cool memories around this and Klaatu - "Calling Occupants"
I remember the Carpenters version. Karen, along with Ann Wilson, and Donna Summer easily my three favorites.
Old timing man, hey! My love is alive. The wheel keeps turning. The wayback machine spins 'em out. Love, tears, love
❤ I have always loved this song. Thank You for this.
Very COOL!! Love that acoustic version. It sounds very special.
I don't know how you listen to this song with your eyes open. I've tried for decades and I just can't.
Thanks again, MommaOG!
Great pick, WMOG! Another winner ❤❤❤
My favorite song of all time.
In reference to the title, 'Dream Weaver', it simply means that Wright's song can weave dreams that you will take you to another plane beyond this one we're on.
Thank you for the video Momma, this is one of my favorite songs of all time. Hope you are doing well. 🙏❤
Dreeeeeeam Weeeavah!!! My favorite drink at Dutch Bros.
Not one body not moving!! ❤❤❤
Omg!!! This took me away!! This is a song about the consciousness of the universe! How God guides people through the night...delusion...and suffering...into the all-important higher realms... Beautiful and mesmerizing this song was when it came out. I love you so much Wondermomma...today is my birthday, and this was a perfect gift from you and the universe! ❤❤❤
I love you too. Happy frickin birthday!
@@WonderMommaOG ❤️❤️❤️
My dude Jamel aka Jamal! He has a great channel as well. I really enjoy your vids.
Great tune from back in the day. Brings Steve Miller or Billy Thorpe jams to mind.
Why does this channel not have million subs ?!?
Love it.
Ty
😅 lol That's ok. I appreciate every single one of my current subs! But a million is something to work towards. I can't even imagine. lol
Great song. Haven't heard that one in YEARS. Thanks for taking me down Memory Lane.
Amazing! I love all of the great channels shown here. 🏄♂️
This song is about alcohol and getting drunk in case people were wondering. I still love it.
that outro is killer
When I was younger I was a pretty hardcore climber, I was simply obsessed with climbing. It didn’t matter if it was ice, rock, or snow. There was a route on Mount Meeker called Dream Weaver that I used to like to go solo. Take a wild guess what song went through my head the whole time. There was a route right next to it called Darkstar, same thing
The seventies were a hell of a drug
Excellent choice Momma.
This was my favorite song when I was younger!
Oh yesssss, one of those phenomenal get lost in songs. Best with beanbag chair, candles, summer breeze, bit of smoke and just get carried away. Thanx so much, take care, Peaceful
Another monster hit. Thank you
Love this song
I am sorry for your loss I lost my dad om march 20th, so it still very fresh like your pain is as well. Prayers and Aloha from Hawaii sent your way!
Oh man... I'm sorry to hear that. It's so weird not having him around. Your dad was just a week before mine. 😞 Love and warm fuzzies from me to you in your pain and heartache as well. Aloha from Pittsburgh! 😅
@@WonderMommaOG 💔💔 Let us enjoy those we still have and fondly remember those who have touched us in ways we cannot express! Aloha and Mahalo for your kind words from Pittsburgh
Great job Momma!!
Another great job - as usual!
The album "Dream Weaver" contains 9 tracks, all of which are guitarless except for one track guested by Ronnie Montrose.
Wonderfully created thank you.
Great job as always, Momma.
Can’t help but think of Wayne’s World each time I hear this.
I had this album on 8-track. Damn, I’m old!
I'll watch it after work! Cool song
Oh yeah that was awesome
Millenial: How come we're not talkin' 'bout Generation X? Who let THEM off the hook?
Gen X: Uh, because we brought you good music.
Another home run, Momma. Thank you for this upload. I cannot wait to see what's up your sleeve for the next one.
Right On!
You gotta do Whipping Post by The Allman Brothers Band,,,,,,Classic Southern Rock Song
This is why I love sleeping. I’m in the dream world constantly. I sleep 8 hours plus a day and dream ever night. At times have lucid dreams. It’s a crazy, fun, unusual world to be in.
I’m also an epileptic from brain surgery (having part of my left brain gone). Add that I did do psychedelic drugs to open up doors to my mind when I was younger. There are times I have seizures in my sleep. I know because of the dream. Waking up because makes it worse. I did once and my wife said my eyes where huge. Dilated the size of my blue (cornea?) as if I was on acid. I was having a grand maul seizure while being awake. It was scary as hell and thought I was going to die.
When I have this in my sleep, my body feels warm all around. The body and arteries outlined in red (blue mixed with arteries). My heart is bright white with bluish tint as brain the same mixed with reddish orange. There’s these tiny electron looking objects flying and moving through my body everywhere!! I can feel my heart getting warm as a cold, warm ice pick goes into my chest. Then see all these electrons explode out. It’s similar to what a volcano would do. Yeah it’s crazy.
When I was awake, different story. The ice pick was stabbing my heart and another pick was jammed into my brain. This was from the back, right under the skull where you feel it ends. The part on the back of your head. Lasted few minutes.
I’ve had plenty of seizures in 23 years and nothing was as scary as that.
All my dreams can be good and nightmares. They don’t bother me because used to them.
22.4!!🎉
High school anthem.
Outstanding mashup. You are the best, keep making and posting, just joined your mob. Cheers.
Welcome! So glad to have you here.
Damn that's pretty.
Momma likes that nitrous music.
Wrong year. Not 1972, should be 1975. First charted in the US on the Billboard Hot 100 on January 3, 1976, eventually peaking @ #2 for 3 weeks. The follow-up "Love is Alive" first charted April 17, 1976 and reached the exact same position on the Hot 100: #2 but only for 2 weeks.
Another great video! Amazing to see how you put them together. Have you ever thought of doing Foreplay/Longtime by Boston and/or Let's Get it On by Marvin Gaye? Would love to see those. Thanks for all of the work you put into your videos! (edit - I just thought of another one lol.) Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas! Thanks :)
All three of those are definitely on my list! Thank you so much.
Let's get back on track Momma, Spring has sprung, it's time to rock. I'm close to my request, I'll be in touch.
I agree... my next video should hit this mark or at least get us a good start!
Gary Wright comes from the super group SPOOKY TOOTH lead man, try reacting to song Evil Women
🤘🤘
1975! I was 7
Pre sleep music at its finest
Great job, can you do one for radiohead?
Hey, if you’re looking for a happy song next, my suggestions are You’ve Made me so Very Happy - Blood, Sweat & Tears or I Can See Clearly Now - Jimmy Cliff
Those are great suggestions! I already have one in mind but I will be putting those on my list, for sure! Thank you.
1975 (video mis-labeled)
Or,if you just wanna switch things up and drop some angry girl rock, you could do I Wanna Know - Alannis Morisette
1975 was in Seattle watching Lazarium at the Planetarium this was one of the songs used. Always remember how cool it was especially for it's time
Very good song. Lets see what other people think?
Lets sing along and figure this mystery together. Can we?
Dammit, I miss the days when music was serious business. Music serious, business has to take care of itself.
An ode to indica?
The acoustic version...what? Never heard it. You got me when where?wtf?
Isn't it fantastic!? The link to the video is in the description... look for the last purple music note.
Okay, I'm sorry... I've ALWAYS hated this song. I can't put it into words. It was used in a hilarious part of Wayne's World where we first see Tia Carrere (which made sense), but I despise this song.
No need to be sorry. I completely understand. Music is subjective for sure. I'm not mad at ya! 😅
Another great one wondermomma!
Thanks!
Acid is way more intense than that song. So you know bro
lol... I second that.
