NBC used it in their commercials for college basketball back then too.

Well kids, welcome to the tunes your parents listened to in grade school! (while noting the possible exception of the Graybeard gent at 2.45) Somewhere between Bowie, Queen, and Numan, there was Kenny Loggins, like an annoying gnat, slipping in and out all through the 70s. You couldn't get away from the guy. And just when you thought HE was excellent, he brings in a ringer-Michael McDonald. (For me, THE voice of the Doobies. That guy's got a voice like black velvet.) And here, at my age, I'm back in 8th grade again and I remember how much I hated it. Good thing we had excellent tunes. It's always a little more fun for me with these 70s reactions. It's worlds away from what these young people grew up with and every time, I get that "Yeah, WE did that." feeling. (And just a note to @AntonReacts, tho we have no pix of the historical Jesus, I'm guaranteeing he wasn't a white Ginger.) Another great tile in the #WonderMommaOG musical mosaic! Thanks, #Momma!

Hey Momma, I think this song was kinda serendipitous for me. Cause by chance every single day driving to school, this song would come on the radio and they would sing to me all the way. Yes, every single day for over a yr. But it never was a bad thing cause its a great song, just strange. Not sure if I should have taken that as a sign of somekind or if it was just that popular since it was kinda new at the time. lol...Thanx so much, take care.
