I have been using the La Roche Posay double repair moisturizer you mentioned for months and it has become my all time favorite moisturizer. My skin is super acne prone and on the dryer side and this causes no clogged pores. I even wear it am and pm and love it! Thanks for the other recommendations, will need to try!
How long did you finish the moisturizer, is it small or enough for four months at least?

I've been using the double repair moisturizer, I love the texture and ingredients, however, I have been experiencing bad peeling from it.
Appreciate this video, because there are so many expensive products out there. I'm not rich, so this is right up my alley.
I've always hated the feeling of grease or petroleum jelly on my skin, so I'm going to give the La Roch Posay double repair a try. At 76 years old, I seldom use anything but water on my face, unless I need something to remove makeup, which I don't often wear. I'm excited to try it!

After seeing so many CZcamsrs recommend the Neutrogena gel cream I bought it for summer. My conclusion: yuck. My face is combination, but my neck is dry. Even on my dry neck it felt tacky and greasy the next morning while my face was an oil slick. Much moreso than heavier creams. I suppose it's all the dimethicone.
I'll stick with the Pacifica Vegan Ceramides Barrier Cream and the Vanicream moisturizer.
hi! i would like to share my review on Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel that many people recommend for oily skin.. i have an oily acne-prone skin and when i first tried it, my skin was SUPERR SOFT.. After 2 days, i noticed my face becomes dry and rough, my neck becomes BUMPY (yup, my neck was covered with little bumps) and also rough.. I'm very sad coz I tot it's the best moisturizer for my skin type but i was wrong (I even tried using it once again after weeks later - same result)
Now i just use it for my legs, it doesn't give the same bad reaction to my face and neck so thank God I can still use it for something..
I bought it today, it felt nice in terms of texture but as soon as i put it on my face, it started to burn. Idk whats irritating me but i gave it to my sister. I really want to try la roce toleriane one but its not available here.

what about MLE emulsions?
I would scrap the Neutrogena gel and put the Vanicream light lotion in there instead. Under makeup the Rephr light hydration cream is fantastic as well. The Neutrogena barely does anything.
I agree with you. The neutrogena one in this video I’ve used and at first it was great but overtime it made my skin dry.

The LaRoche Posay is nice but pills if you use any other skincare. I find it’s frustrating to use even though it feels nice. You can’t use it with anything else.

Exact same thing happened to me with CeraVe night cream. Had to stop using it. Went to Palmer skin therapy oil and they began to clear up immediately.
Well I use a cleanser then vichy 89 serum then effaclar duo+ for acne and I want a moisturizer because I have dry skin and i don't know what to choose between the ones in the video
If you don’t Mind the richness I recommend Cerave renewing cream at night. And can use toleriane in the morning under sunscreen

I have used the La Roche Posay you recommend and it just sits on the skin and pills. Yuck. I do love all their other products though
I tried Cetaphil face wash and was disappointed it did not remove my makeup it would need to be a second step in a double cleanse and I don't always have the time or patiencce.
But the cream is very good i love it
Usually face wash is not for makeup removal, just for cleaning your skin. I'd take your makeup off first and then use it
I had same experience with cetaphil cleanser. My mascara was running down my eyes still.
Is La roch posey products pragnancy safe ?
I wish my skin would tolerate the neutrogena hydro boost cream. When applying I felt an intense sting. I had to stop using it.

would the double repair moisturizer be considered an occlusive?
Occlusive is just a category of ingredients that is a part of a good moisturizer that minimizes water loss, it’s not nearly as occlusive as 100% petrolatum

@@mohanagreeshmagudhimalla1348 Wrong. Thinner products such as serums and oils go on BEFORE cream moisturizers. That’s the cardinal rule in skincare. Putting an oil on over a cream would make your face an oily mess.
The la posay one has isobutane. Isn’t that bad?

The best facial moisturizer on earth is not marketed as such - it’s very common and cheap and will blow away any expensive cream on the market…it was by coincidence I found this out - I was using the cream on my face for an ailment …I used it excessively every night…one day I looked in the mirror and was shocked at how smooth and glowing my skin was I became scared and fascinating at the same time - I thought something was wrong with me …
