This game looks so cute and fun as hell. Opportunities for co-op?? That's something I've wanted in Pokemon games for so long! I love how creative some of these clips are in the way that the creatures are utilized in the game.
Since it's a survival Game, it functions kinda like 7 Days to Die or Day Z. Where you can host a server that you and your friends play on.
2-4 people on Xbox, and up to 32 through steam.
this game is proof that Nintendo wastes the pokemon IP sitting on it and letting it waste away in outdated game design... like if you take the guns away from paleworld you still get the direction i wanted pokemon to go with more world exploration and better pokemon interactions where combat is more fun! Imagine having to step in to protect your pokemon from something too strong jumping in at you or beating that trainer with a stick for trying to mug you through pokebattles against your will! Hell just mounting and exploring with your pokemon! holding your flarion and using it as a flamethrower to burn away team rocket who is poaching!
Besides that i am glad this company is taking stuff from other games and improving on them like this game took pokemon, ark, rust, ect and made a cool ass game prioritizing fun. They said that it will be 4 player coop or 32 player servers and you can pvp so imagine someone hosting a server bypassing player limit and having a server with 60 players and player built towns with gyms! i would love this!
I would recommend trying out Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
It is easily the most genuinely new and adventurous move that Pokemon has made.
It is still horrendously flawed for a company working on the most valuable IP in the world.
But it definitely stands apart as a "new experience".
You know... or just play Palworld.

Can't really get copyright strike...unless everything is exactly the same, name and all. Otherwise every creature capturing games ever would lose to Pokemon maker.
Kinda difficult to make unique shit when there are over 1,000 pokemon
TemTem, Nexomon, Koromon, Monster Sanctuary, DQM, WoFF, Palworld, all better Monster Taming Games then Pokémon.

@@SchwahnGaming no its not, its been stated its a survival game, with crafting, building, guns, and creatures like the dinosaurs in ark, or thralls in conan exiles, pokemon is a linear game that hasnt changed since it originally released when i was a kid apart from a few gimmicks here and there.
Thats like saying digimon or monster rancher is meant to make you think pokemon coz you tame n train monsters. Also shin megani tensei was put before pokemon so is pokemons meant to make you think of that since thats a taming game that was put before pokemon n pokemon is a childs version of that.

I love how if someone creates a game that has similar aspects to older, more popular ones it's suddenly a "blatant rip off" of said games... or they were just inspired by them and made something similar and (most likely) put their own spin on it/them, like, do you think BotW was original? the most original thing about it was the glider and graphics, and even then i'm pretty sure cell shaded games were already becoming a thing anyway.
as for this being a pokemon clone, one some pals looking like some pokemon to any extent really doesn't matter, look at geodude or koffing to name two, they're "copies" (all though the real term would be inspired by) monsters from a dragon quest game before pokemon came out, does that make pokemon a copy of dragon quest? XD also pokemon didn't do monster taming first, js.

Just that some of the Pals are blatant, barely adjusted, copies of pokemon.

The anubis one only looks like lucario because lucario was based off anubis and funnily enough, so is anubis. Shall I go on? :P

The similarities are immense in particular Pals here. They are of course different, but they are incredibly close to their "source material"

The entire first 10 min is just "Thats just "insert X pokemon" or "is that suppose to be "insert X pokemon".
Im not too familiar with the later gens of pokemon, but when i looked them up, ye some had some similarities, but i rly wouldnt go as far as to say they the same.
Challenge: pick any 5 farm animals and design a Cartoony critter with elemental powers, and it can't look like a Pokémon. GO!

can't stand it when reaction channels spend half of a video section staring at their phone or chat or whatever without pausing. If you're going to do reaction content, then do reaction content. Don't make it so obvious that you're farming.

I've seen plenty of people complaining about when reaction channels pause videos.
I prefer to just let the video play as much as I can. Especially since I don't just do a single trailer. My videos are pretty long as it is without me stopping every 10 seconds to look at a still frame or rewind back to see something again.

Some of them do look a lot like pokemon though, which was the main "thing".

You're absolutely right, they do have some really good original designs in here.
But their marketing puts a lot of focus on the "sus" ones.
Remember "The Day Before" ? yea? well I would love to play a pokemon parody game where you can eat the pokemon, and shoot them. over "The Day before" which betrayed my trust

Look man with 1000 pokemon even The Pokemon Company has had to recycle designs or do some stupid ass shit like a dragon that's actually a bridge or some sentient keys.
There isn't a creature collector ever made that hasn't had similarly themed creatures to at least a handful of Pokemon.
Give some credit where credit is due. Just because both games have a deer creature doesn't mean the second one "copied" the first one. Pals are pretty refreshing all things considered. I'd put their design in the upper echelon of creature uniqueness alongside games like TemTem and Digimon.

Pals are really good designs too. Just some are a comically close to their inspiration.
