The first set of the Archaic/Early Classical Greece videos isn't in the playlist D:
(also I love how the audience participation portion of this had us practicing our idle animations)

I never really got much into greek art, cause the sudden shift in subject matter (the discovery of contraposto and stuff) felt so random to me it honestly was annoyingXD I never thought it would connect to the greek "sense of self" and the need to define what they were fighting for. The moment you explained it, it made so much sense it was sooooo cool!!!!!!!! I love this video so much it ignited a new interest in me that is greek culture thank you for your wonderful work!!!!!!!🔥🔥

I have a BA in Fine Art Painting, though it was a long time ago. Unfortunately I cannot remember dates, but could usually understand the concept behind the advancement in art. It is visual language to me, however it tends to renew itself all the time.

@@normanstratford9329 I'm studying too painting in an Italy academy, but history isn't taught so well like Travis Clark do. It's much more university style, and i love it, though it's not so easy for dates.

Call me crazy but I actually prefer the archaic Greek statues over the classical ones. The anatomic accuracy of the classic statues is absolutly amazing, I just find the archaic ones a bit more pleasing to look at.

Wish I lived somewhere like old Greek society. Places for ideas and athleticism… maybe I’ll find those someday
