I'd love to see the magic behind the trackpads on a macbook. I know a lot of why they're so good is down to OS, but there's still a fair bit of hardware in their trackpads

What a neat shortcut they found, using conductive plastic to connect the columns. It probably helps the system reject false inputs too. If the plastic has enough spring in it to disconnect when no pressure is applied, all the columns would read offline unless a finger presses it down.

How about looking at a piece of silicon from a pocket calculator? I have a bare die, and it's hypnotizing to look at.
Everything ok Electron' ? I keep looking at late 80s , to 2000's chips and tools thinking " wish i could get this to ElectronUpdate to deconstruct..". IT , original autocad Sectinel-C dongle.
