- Mamta Kafle Bhatt, a Manassas Park mother of an 11-month old, was last seen on July 27, 2024. Her husband Naresh Bhatt was arrested last week and charged in connection with her disappearance.
FOX 5 DC reporters Lili Zheng and Nana-Sentuo Bonsu walk through their coverage of the story over the last few weeks as community members and police continue to search for Mamta.
Mamta is presumed dead. Her body has not been found as of the recording of this special report on August 26, 2024.
The investigation into Mamta's disappearance, and the search for her body, is ongoing.

I just heard her story on Nancy Grace. It doesn't sound good for her. I heard the bathtub was taken out of her home I really think her husband had something to do with her disappearance.their relationship sounds very dysfunctional. Sounds like he was trying to leave the country. I have a really bad feeling that she's no longer alive. It sounds to me like there was some domestic violence going on unfortunately. I hope they find her soon 💜

Nadia may have started this as a sincere effort, but now she is creating a lot of pain for Mamta's already aggrieved family & friends.. She is making things up about her family, spreading rumors & making wild allegations. Her page has now become a cesspool, where she is just instigating people. And that's why she is looking for lawyers now, because she knows she messed up.
Also, at this point, it's not clear--why she is still collecting money on her Gofundme, when she doesn't want to hand that money over for Mamta's daughter.

I knew from the start everyone is trying to get limelight and cash in from her disappearance. I didn't donate any money on these Gofundmes because there's no guarantee that the money goes to the one in need.
She might be the woman Manta husband was seeing, sometimes the friend closest to you is the one who betrays you,police should investigate her.
