So is no one gonna talk about how there is some dude running at a stride frequency of similar to Sonic in front of him?
Its pacers, they set the pace for eliud to base on. Doe these pacers typically swap out after 10km or so cause they cant keep up with eliuds target pace. Make no mistake doe, these pacers are elite athletes as well. Just not eliud level
thats multiple people
@@peace7784 oh I see
This made me lol
I was gonna say that lmao
He makes it look so easy
Super easy! Good to hear from ya man!
I mean it is easy lol the hard part is the endurance part of it which we don’t really see
@@diegoadams9652 yea
@@diegoadams9652 not at all form is just as hard as the endurance
@@lukewat for me it’s definitely the endurance
Thanks for the advice, just ran my first sub 2 hour marathon after implementing this!
Insane bro
💀
That’s incredible dude!
Lol
Sarcasm 😂
His mental focus and strength combine are mind blowing!!!
His leg drive is insane
Yeah
I am pretty sure that's not a human being. Normal people can't run in that perfect form. When I run my head is like bobble head, can't stop
no human being can run 4:30 miles 26 times
@@hudsonpetrie1301 **only one can**
@@Flairis Super human
When you run at a fast speed it is easier to have good form since your strides are longer and more powerful instead of just bouncing on your toes at a normal human jogging speed
That’s bc he trains for this you have to be consistent
Sometimes when I run I look down and it affects my spine and the way I run. Looking straight ahead really has its benefits but it is hard at times.
Try nose breathing. You will instinctively straighten your posture when you do so. Also, try not to over extend your legs with each stride. Land as close to under your hips as possible
Yes you right. I started realize when I make a experiment for 2 weeks. First week is look down, second is looking up. Actually there's a changes on my pace and my mind. I started thinking positively. Tqsm for this tips❤
I never understood the eyes looking straight ahead, for me I can breathe better and run faster looking down
It's still better to have your own technique
You can't plagiarise this man....the guys is simply a legend
I would constantly look straight if I didn't have to worry about every damn bump or debri in my neighborhood
he makes it so easy cause he’s facing strate telling us how to do that stuff and it’s so cool that’s all i gotta say
Why would anybody look up 😂. Narrow it down to: ahead and down
Bro i cant even walk with my head foward ,i need to look down
Whenever I get tired from looking at the ground or tired in general I look up at the clouds, and it feels like I can control my pace easier. I feel really relaxed
Thanks! Implemented this during my runs and now I can't look away from what's Infront!
Man theres no way i can run looking forward. I hate seeing where I’m running lol 🤷🏽♂️ feels so much harder compared to looking down
I tend to keep my head forward but still look down, this is mostly do to not wanting to step on dog poo on city streets 😂
Right lol.
Look straight ahead when there's people in front of you, otherwise yeah just keep your head down
Man his stride ratio is so perfect and so controled compared to the front runners (pace makers i think) absolute machine
Is everyone going ingnore the person in front of them?? Bros going wolf mode 💀💀💀
Pacer
Thanks for the advice bro
For sure man!
These are professional runners, they do this for bread, to make a living, they better have a good form they can't afford not to.
I on the other hand have been a runner since I was 12, always loved to win races at school, and now even with 4 kids my dessert after husband gets home is to be able to go for my 4 mile run 6 days per week. My form isn't like his, I look down all the time, I'm fit (in my own opinion) I've never had an injury except for 2018 shin splint due to bad shoes. I make all the mistakes most new runners make but because I've been running for so long, it just works for me. Every runner is different. Some flap there hands everywhere, some run with mouths wide open and gasp, some have the arms glued to their waist (me) so many ways of running... The only thing I look for is.... Will changing so and so just to look like a good runner infront of people who aren't even watching going to cause me an injury...
Just run how you run... Especially if it works for you
I struggle on keeping my head up. I’m always looks at the ground
Same herw even when i am walking
Look at the ground sometimes if not you would be falling down 😂😂😂
One thing I know that we are actually in energy waves universe, as quantum refference. Landed harmoniously into grounded waves and look forward like flat surface stone skipping accross water will save energy while in motions.
This is actually helpful because I have a 2400 track meet tomorrow and I have been trying to fix my form. The only thing that is wrong with my form is my shoulders are tight and not loose. So I will try and do this in my 2400 race tomorrow
how did it go
@@mrbuckett5099 The track meet was alright I did pretty good I got like 13th place which isn’t good for my school but better than last and I’m happy I finished and didn’t walk like others
Doing strides with good form can help
Proper body posture is one of the key to maintain your heart rate thus make the blood flow/O2 more efficient.
Splendid bro...
If my city was able to maintain roads without holes, ditches and clean them for once,i would be actually looking straight 😅🤦🏽♂️
Hi guys it's absolutely true
That is one smooth stride he has there!!!
Does anyone know the name of the song playing? Sounds like great workout music!
His head aerodynamic
Based on my father's suggestions he is Philippine Military it's better to look 45 degrees down to stop thinking how far you will run or how the distance
You look down when your sprinting at the start then look straight right??
Yep! This video is about jogging/long distance running, not sprinting 👍🏼
you always look straight, even when sprinting. At the beginning of the sprint, your whole body should be angled and inclined towards the ground, which is why the eyes are towards the ground
@@oof2375 excellent explanation
Head down on a start from blocks. The key is to get as much drive forward in the early part of the race. There are also other details, but watch elite athletes (both men and women) and you’ll see their head comes up slowly and it typically takes 10 or 11 strides to be completely upright. Standing up too quickly is something you commonly see in inexperienced or poorly trained sprinters (such as most high school sprinters).
USA Track and Field has some excellent materials on coaching various track and field skills, and some good quality (and reasonably priced) courses on how to teach them, starting from the beginner level and progressing upward.
@@r4ucoaching l
I run with my head down at the start to get myself a 50 metre head start at primary interschool.
His jog is my sprint
We love Kipchoge
What song is this?
.
His stamina was too Strong
Excelente bro...
💪😎👍
Thanks brother!
@@r4ucoaching i am waiting the part #4
Remember your posture for each race is different, in the 100 meters, you have to go up at an angle slowly
Beautiful.
When its winter time, the ground is frozen or covered in snow, so i need to look down because i dont want to step into a hole full of dirty water😅
Don't worry guys , this is all practice and years of hard work . Just keep running everything will get sorted with time.
Yes the best advice is just ...run
What about trail running? I find myself looking down a lot so i dont roll my ankles
I usually look down walking and running because I’m afraid of tripping over something and eating shit
When I look forward my eyes stray and I take the run casually but when I watch the ground I’m focus n in my zone
he is the monster
Is there a part 4 yet?
kipchoge : "oh, i didn't know that"
You can look up or down if you want to.
The problem is that I lack discipline to keep proper form
Hey I want to ask tht it is a little hard for me to run in speed while touching my foot to butt area as 8 feel uneasy in my lower shins in which I can't forfeet properly.but if I do it without touching my foot to butt but lifting it to thigh i cover the longer distance in less time .i m in 400nd 800m so should I run in my comfort zone or do it technically
Correction - You look ahead, but you can look down occasionally to avoid bumps on pavements/roads.
Hey man.....u promised a part 4😓😓😓
Mayweather has good running form too if you want another example.
I am fat so in my case my belly is ahead of my head. I may be look like a person running desperately for dear life.
😭😭😭
I'm Indian and by default i have to look down while running.... Reason being too many pot holes on the road can fall if don't look down
Bro really said look the the noggin
Why is it important to keep your gaze straight ahead? Is it like a mental thing?
And shoes pointing towards skies while preparing for the next landing.
자세예술이다...신기하네요ㅎㅎ
There’s this kid that was in 8th grade now in high school 1st year and he could run 2 miles in 5 minutes he was good, I am made for track not cross country but I have to do cross first because track is for 7th grade sadly
That's is impossible
nobody, not even the best runners can run that pace no matter how hard they tried so thats cap
Can probably maintain this form for 6 miles but then in falls apart with fatigue
Him or you?
Watch any of his marathons. He maintains it!
Sir 4:30ka time kaise laye 1600m running main
In India you have to look down
Damn they really had to diss kipchoges head like that like bro we all see the unnatural shape
Yes
As a kenyan you must have a good form when running
RIP❤
This might be working only on nice road / pavement.
okie dokie❤
The guy in the front tho 💀
Pacemaker
Song??
Look at legs of the runners running ahead of him 😂
I thought I am the only one who noticed
Those guys are pacers. They aren't running in the race as a competitor, but to help Kipchoge keep his pace. They also switch out to a new group of pacers every few miles since they can't keep up with Kipchoge the whole marathon 😅
Bro that we didn't know:look that the noggin 💀💀
i mean he is the king of the sport of course 99% of what he does is good 😂
👽 eliud
I rmb noggin is a funny way of saying head 😂
Bruh look at his opponent legs so fast damn
👍👍👍❤
Ive got adhd which is kinda tragic for my form
I walk 3 miles pour hour
Take a look at the WHAT?
His head is definitely bouncing, people are acting like propper form is being able to run a marathon while balancing a book on your head, but that just aint it.
So if I look straight forward like him I can win the marathon even if I'm balloon fat😢😢
👍👍Yess
Kipchoge is a well oiled machine.
It’s elongated
So....eyes should be looking straight ahead. Who would have thought?
Do they ever kick each other?
So we’re saying that his head is aerodynamic causing him to have a level of cooling while providing protection from any negative thinking telling him to stop.
what if you stepped a poop cause you're not looking down right
I always look down cuz I don’t want to step on poop
The nogin
looking down is easier tho
it’s easier because it tricks your brain into thinking that you’re covering more distance than you are.
@@pacheco3328 That’s something new I learned. I was so used to looking down for so long
Nogging whaaaat 😂
How about his mind
Y'all can deconstruct as much as you want but baby, he not thinking about all that when he's running. Some things are just God given. You either have it or you don't lol
Bros legs are long as hell...
But is he any good?
No traffic rule only running 😂😂😂😂
Dude in front of him definitely from running for a school in ohio
