Probably because prior to that he had failed to score directly on two overhead smashes which are usually literal free points on a professional level. However this happens a lot and even then im sure krajinovic had worse shots than this in a whole year.

I've never realized, but from places 50 to 35 (included) every single tennis player has a different clothing endorsement (or no endorsement whatsoever). It stops with De Minaur, wearing Asics (also Goffin). There's 22 different clothing brands in the top 50, or at least in this video (because players change their endorsements from time to time). Garin has already gone from Adidas to EA7; same as Humbert who's gone to lacoste from Le Coq.

I donât understand why pro players donât let the ball bounce when going for overheads, it slows the pace of the ball and makes it easier to add more control and power. This is why there is so many missed smashes in this compilation.
It gives the opponent too much time to recover and possibly guess right, especially if the opponent is completely out of position while the overhead is hanging in the air.
@@Zenigundam yes but they could always just do bouncer overheads which completely puts the ball out of play.
@@donovanhenson2401 yes but that's difficult and negates the benefit of hitting it on the full.
Some of these had some topspin and/or trajectory that would make the ball further away if you let it bounce. If you got a ball thats coming pretty straight down it's a good move to let it bounce.

Federer's too because of how playfully he took it and how technically supreme he's been for the last 23 years.
So many of these are the bounce smash - possibly the hardest shot in tennis because you have no idea how high the ball is going to bounce and it's so easy get under the ball and send it flying, or misjudge it and put it into the net. Martina Navratilova once said that the players make a hash of it so often because nobody thinks to practice it.
