Does your muffler have a hole on the center of it. I bought a replacement muffler, but it looks like it has a o2 sensor. I am just trying to plug it but I don’t know what size bolt can I use.
I thought that’s what that meant but that’s where it was filled at from the factory even when you checked it when it was cold my new one I just bought last year is filled up to the H as well if even when it’s cold so they must overfilled it at factory
I believe it’s at the first 200 hours then 500 every time there after. If you have an owners manual it should tell you but I’ll look again at mine to make sure those are the correct hours.

Yeah it’s weird because normally when hydro oil is cold it’s lower an when it’s heats up it rises like you where saying but both my ex marks where bought brand new an the oil is on the h on both cold. Also if you fill to the reservoir to the capacity the manual states it his the h.
@4M Ranch yes exactly like automatical transmissions I'm actually doing my Exmark EFI 60 right now I just checked before I started it they were a little below half cold so might add one more ounce this time I have 54 ounces in them right now its sensitive on fill I'm using Amsoil 20w50 hydro this time instead of Exmark I use their 15w50 small engine oil and it runs cooler vs standard small engine oil Amsoil products 100% synthetic not full synthetic huge difference Most full synthetic labeled are barely over 51% Kohler switched everything from 30 weight to 50 weight 10w50 15w50 or 20w50

No mine doesn’t. It could of been a spark arrester plug maybe i dont know.
The h on the hydro dip stick is the line when fluid is hot you overfilled your pumps

My laser z book says after the first 250 hours change it. After the first change its every 500 hrs from then on.

Did the hose break an run the engine out of oil?

You know if it's any switch or sensor in those engines
edgarflo1983 it should have a low oil pressure sensor on it.

You don't want it on the H for hydro when its cold the H stands for hot level
That’s what my manual says to be at the H when cold.

@4M Ranch I always set my X series right in middle at cold when hot its right on the line it expands

I'm not digging the oil filters on the parker pumps! Oil drains on the belt and all.
