- I flew on SAUDIA A321neo with the airline’s new branding from Riyadh to Al Ula, the new Saudi tourism destination. Throughout the flight, SAUDIA shows its new branding and product onboard. The crew has changed into a new uniform. Let me know what you think of SAUDIA’s new livery and branding?
The landscape changed dramatically as we approached Al Ula. Enjoy the cockpit footage of the landing at Al Ula International Airport.
The scenery at Al Ula is captivating with strange-shaped stones along the highway. We visited “The Maraya” which is the world’s biggest mirror building standing in the middle of nature with sharp reflections. After a short lunch in the old town of Al Ula, we headed to Hegra; a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was the southern city of the Nabataean kingdom, famed for its spectacular monumental tombs.
We ended the day trip at the Elephant Rock before heading back to board the SAUDIA flight to Riyadh. On the way back, I experienced SAUDIA’s regional business class and gave my feedback on the seat and service.
As a Saudi this livery brings back so many fond memories from childhood and I love it. Most Saudi's who remember the 80's have a special connection to this livery 💚💙
I feel the same for PIA's 80s and 90s livery and tail !
Why?
I've travelled a lot on Saudia and I have always appreciated their great service (even without the drinks). Amazing people!
I went with Saudia from Frankfurt via Jeddah to Seoul and I’ve never had such a great experience, I would fly with them again
What year?
I enjoyed traveling to saudi last year it was a great experience .. the people were nice , the food was on top ❤
I lived and worked 5 years in KSA, the Saudi airline it's a very professional team, and it's a very awesome Country with very kind people I hope to visit this beautiful country again Inshallah
CONGRATULATIONS "SAUDIA" MashaaALLAH , what a beautiful plane! What a great Jubilation! What a charming and shinning GREEN COLOR .... ALLAH YAHAFAZAK AMIN
I love they brought back the original livery from my childhood. Looks soooo cool.
As a Saudi, I enjoyed this vlog, the landing shot at night was breathtaking.
Thanks to you, you pictured our beloved city AlUla wonderfully.
Both landings were damn good. They were centered beautifully and a nice and calm touchdown. The flight attendance was very good and the foodstuffs looked very delicious.
As a Saudi, I’m excited to try the updated planes
Salam. Al Ula landing was bad, I've seen/experienced Saudia landings pretty smooth and professionally done masha Allah. (:
This is a big step up from the Saudia that i’ve flown recently.
Wishing them well !
No no you have to say it right soodia:))
thank you Sam for showing us our Beautiful Home Earth 🌎 ,you are keeping dreams Alive
watching you from Kenya 🇰🇪
The cockpit views are incredible
So nice to see the vintage livery brought back alive again, very nostalgic, love the colours!
The cockpit shots were amazing! That was a totally incredible day. The flight, the food, the sights, the hospitality.
insta360 camera just something must have nowadays!
I flew the “old” Saudia. It was great then. Back to the future!
I never thought I would have a desire to visit Saudi Arabia, but this video changed my mind. What an incredible landscape! (I would like to spend a couple of days in that old town instead of just a day trip, however.
It had a mystique that i'll never forget. Could use less humidity though but i miss it so much to the point of tears.
I’m Saudi, but living outside it. I look forward every summer to going back and visiting the new tourist areas as they open. Change is happening fast. We welcome you at any time❤
Bro i am from Saudi and also i never thought I would have a desire feeling to visit my country as a tourist except now😂
Actually I’m so proud of my airline ❤
As Saudi Arabia opens up to tourism, I feel that there will definitely be a need for Saudia Airlines. It may be a decade, perhaps less, perhaps longer, for tourism to build up. The history there is incredible. Al Ula looks like it will be a popular destination in the future. I wish I could go there, but thanks to CZcams, and Sam's videos, I feel as if I have already been there.

Old livery is new again. Remember this from the 80s.
Old memories of 1980’s . Forever Green, undoubtedly this livery is really beautiful! ❤
I was lucky enough to visit Al Ula site a couple of times and drive thru the paths inside, before they had closed the site for rennovation a few years back. Thank you Sam for taking me to that amazing nature once again!
Amazing. Now I wanna fly to there to try the cuisine & gaze into the sceneries .. ❤ thank u Sam for sharing your experience!
Absolutly stunning! Would love to visit Saudia Arabia in the future!
Thanks Sam and Thank you Saudia for sharing this special trip. It’s great to see your flight service and new branding.
Wow! Thanks for the videos, Sam! Thanks for explaining Not only about the airlines but also about the Alula!❤
Wow! Amazing. Just from the looks of it without comparing to the previous cabin, everything is of great taste, clean modern feel and brand excellence. Thank you for testing this altogether awesome package.
Loved The cockpit views and beautiful mountains
Yay. Love the new look. Very refreshing. Great vid. Saudi is doing a great job in tourism sector.
Hi Sam, Love your channel my friend. Point of fact, it's not really a new livery but a return to what it once was, for me personally its an extra special close to my heart thing, my father worked for Saudia UK from 1984 to 2014, and I remember the first time I saw the beautiful 747-200 with this livery in December 1986 when I travelled to Riyadh to visit my dad's younger brother, It totally even at age 2 just took my breath away, how something so huge could lift off the ground. Anyway its a great return to what made Saudia one of the best flying experiences before it took on the blue beige scheme from 1998 onwards which I liked but lets face it the return to old scheme had always been Saudia through and through. Hopefully Saudia can once again reign supreme as the GO TO airline of the middle east.
The new Saudi theme music is my ring tone. Loved it ❤
Amazing landscapes !!!!
Beautiful place in earth
Very impressive. I cannot wait to visit KSA. Thanks for sharing.
WOW, this is so cool! Amazing location, amazing A321neo, and great video.
So glad you're doing more of these travel vlogs. I hope the middle east can continue to open up as there looks like so many fantastic sites
Thank you. Sam
It was so much pleasure to watch it.
i love this saudi airlines retro livery 😍
Lovely! Loved the peppy music! 😍
I like the new one, "refreshing" is the right term, despite looking like the old 1990s livery.
The previous golden sand livery was good back in 2000s, modern and striking. It has the charm of the United "Battleship grey" livery. But today, the trend is going towards simplification as life is getting very complex, and I love this Saudia modern classic interpretation.
Yeah, let's hope the country could have more secularity and openness, that called modernization. We can see progressive and improvement.
Thank you Sam for another cool video. You are great
Have you ever seen a fake smile then that first guy really nailed it🤣🤣🤣
Fantastic presentation, incredible views!!
The Saudi Arabian desert looks so much like Mars. 😮
come and try camping in the desert, it's amazing
Wait till you get to the red sand dunes. I lived in Riyadh for a year and very much enjoyed my stay
Tatooine
@@paulcabinatan2390I love them too

What an enchanting destination to explore. I aspire to have the opportunity to visit it in the future. The fresh hues of the aircraft and uniforms were truly captivating.
Very nice traditional livery for Saudia 😊 Very lucky to travel on charter flight to Al Ura. Very nice A321neo interior 🎉
Amazing everything 💚🇸🇦
Greetins from Costa Rica I love aviation I am your fan almost 3 years ago I enjoy your videos because You always sent diffrents qtopics
I love his travels
Al Ula what an exotic and beautiful place. Thank you so much for taking us there. It is like the wild wild west of the USA in the 1800's and a touch of Egypt and Jordan's city of Petra. Totally bizarre but beautiful. The colors of Saudia in the green and white as oppose to the beige and white. It is totally crazy and awkward that with just minutes to landing they are serving dinner and snacks only to retrieve them. Not too much privacy in that business class seat and the IFE panel is like being in school just one big billboard. They need to redesign everything all over again with the folks at Boeing and Airbus Industries. Thank you for sharing.
3:23-3:36 that livery looks 👍cool, gives a 20th century vintage-retro style vibe.
Hi Sam. This is one of those vlogs with a variety. I always wanted to tell you to show some footages of the places you visit or fly to. That will add a little variety always. This one looked just perfect to me fitting that request of mine. I really did not imagine Saudi Arabia has so much in beauty in terms of history. Thanks once again. Love from India.
LOVE this new livery!!!
I love it. The livery is the former Saudia livery. Beautiful. Love the new uniforms.
Indeed it is!
Love the new livery...looks more fresh and more professional
It looks marvelous. Hope i will fly in this Airline in future
Very nice trip with a new plane with a funtastic green colour ❤
I have NEVER VISITED that part of the world, so Thanks Sam!! For sharing that airline, culture, and beautiful scenery too! As usual, great little video!! Thanks!!
Love the vibrant colours and the cheat lines. They need to make a comeback on more airlines
Always wanted to go Al-Ula!
Love the improved livery. Three decades in the past I experienced the privilege of traveling in a Saudia Lockheed L1011 and Boeing 747. Similar livery.
Sam, Thank You for sharing this lovely vlog of Saudi Arabia new tourists destination. Amazing scenery. The plane new rebranding looking great.
Love the rebranding ..
Great landing in the way back 👌
very beautiful thanks sam
OLD IS GOLD I LIKE IT

Nice profile picture, u did it?
So cool thanks Sam.
Sam,your videos are amazing.
Dude the Arab countries are Soo exquisite that none other country can even pass to compete with🎉❤
Love Gulf
I think Australia gives the Gulf a run for their money… Rich, masses of natural beauty and most importantly a free and welcoming society where women are given the same rights as men… just a thought

Thanks Sam for another great video
Appreciate the nice cockpit views too
I too like the new ( retro livery ) but as far as the uniforms although the new ones are nice the previous ones with the head piece exuded a particular charm that’s missing.
looking forward to fly saudi airlines and see those saudi landmarks this month
Ohh, Everything is amazing.
Thanks for beautiful video clip
I used to travel between Yanbu Royal Comissioner RYC and north to visit Silica Sand minings. I can tell it has improved a lot.
Hope one day to visit the area as a tourist.
Thanks for sharing the clip.
I miss this place! Al Ula a really nice place! I visited this year.
Thank you for this vlog. Wow. Have an amazing day!
I love the livery .... kind of looks retro ..... especially the back of the premium economy class seats
