DLink DGS-1100-10MP recovery

This time around I explain how I recovered a DLink DGS-1100 switch that failed to factory reset properly. Your mileage may vary - this worked for me.

This gives me vibes of when you used to be able to get the password of a DLink router through SNMP.

To reset your device to factory defaults, please follow the steps below:
*Step 1:* Make sure your device is connected to a network and the status light is solid green.
*Step 2:* Please use an unfolded paperclip to press and hold the RESET button for at least 20 seconds while your device is plugged in.
*Step 3:* Please wait 60 seconds for the device to reboot. And this process will change all your settings back to the factory defaults.

That process worked on a couple of others, but not on the DGS-1100-10MP I had. No idea why...
