Yeah I loved this but the wheel bite was too bad for me. So I added 1/4 and 1/8th inch pads under and now 0 wheel bite. It is a little bit higher but worth it. I tried running fat free wheels and also carver roundhouse in 65mm instead but didn't like it as much as the 4presidents with the risers.

Thanks for the review, I am riding the Carver resin 31 today and looking for a more grip (concaved) board, would you recommend the bolsa or the black tip?
Judging from the wheel bites the wheel wells are in the wrong place or pointless to be frank. Am I right?

Thanks for the review. Short (165cm), relative lightweight (59kg), beginner surfskater. 1st board was the Yow Arica with Meraki. Couple weeks riding the Bolsa with CX trucks at the 16" mounting position. Both boards are set up with RipTide APS barrel/cone bushings. Softer on the Bolsa 80a front, 87.5a on the rear. Similar tight turning radius, but the Bolsa seems to have a bit more "snap" transitioning from heel to toe side. Only hiccup is wheel bite on the Bolsa. Never have experienced it on the Arica. Both running 69-70mm wheels. Thinking maybe time for an additional lifter pad or maybe an excuse to try the Orangatang Love Handles. Anyone add pads for more clearance?
I put the love handles on my cx bolsa, love it. Gets going from stop easier and the hardness feels just right. No need for pads for clearance w it.
@@jordansligar1644 Replaced the 4Pres with Love Handles. No wheel bite and similar feel. 4Presidents are now spare wheels for the Arica. Maybe Loaded should consider the Love Handles as std wheels?
@@noohohno Any reason you chose the APS over Krank? Did you swap pivot cups as well? Did you experience wheel bite on the stock setup? Loaded revised the setup with Nipples and an extra riser to prevent wheelbite. No wheelbite on my end with this setup, but wanted to swap the bushings so afraid it'll end up biting. Love handles seem about right, I don't think they were out when Loaded created this setup.
@@muckeyn Just familiar with the APS, keep things consistent between the two boards. RipTide pivot cups on all the boards. No squeak, no maintenance, and they seem to last forever. Went even softer on the Bolsa set up. Bolsa has become my indoors (aka garage) board. The front wheel flair bumps becomes annoying for long barefoot session. Garage sessions are short. Arica needs more concave. Still looking for the "perfect" deck. Maybe the Grasp?
@@noohohno The grasp deck/trucks look great. I saw on IG they are trying to sell through amazon but wasn't sure it would be trucks or deck/completes.
The bolsa fits me pretty well. I don't ride barefoot and I could see how the flairs would be annoying to some people. Personally, my natural stance just fit between the flairs in the pocket the moment I stepped on the board although it probably can get annoying with a lot of foot movement. I love the size/shape of the deck overall, I'm moreso trying to dial the trucks. Did you consider doing cone/cone instead of cone/barrel? I'm looking to make it looser but retain or increase rebound. I'm 78KG so I think a step up from your chosen duros should work? How did the softer bushings affect the stability? I've been skating for a long time but new to surfskates and only have a slide 3.0 to compare, but that thing gets pretty squirrely at speed (loosest setting). The CX is surprisingly stable to me but the feel isn't as unique.

I'm on the Yow Arica now, and I'm loving it. I would love to try a board with more concave, just to see what it feels like. Have you ever ridden the new Yow Snappers? I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
