Lich's chain frost used to count illusions as hero kills, refreshing the duration a lot. So it's actually a nerf. Situational ofc.
It was a good counter vs CK and PL

Standing desk chad
A bit of boots-on-the-ground suggests that the WD nerf is a lot harder hitting than the numbers would suggest. In particular, going from 700 to 600 at level 1 puts you in a MUCH riskier position, and makes it less likely that you can safely tag both enemies without getting beaten on in return. The reduction in self-heal is huge because WD is still at the end of the day a squishy low-mobility support. Early on, that heal is the only thing keeping you slightly more durable than a creep. Your theoretical "ideal" DPS hasn't changed at all, but your practical ability to execute that ideal DPS has been severely hampered.

you can play her mid, 3 or 4 branches into bottle, using shadow realm to secure ranged creep. The double bottle regen in shadow realm is pretty crazy, and you can rush blink into aghs with the farm. quite fun.

You can tp out during shadow realm if they have no aoe disables at the moment
Casting terrorize is based upon a wisp that flies out to the target location, fears the enemy, and flies back - casting closer to yourself is faster to impact, and the delay until you can cast bedlam will be shorter.
You can take bottle as offlane, so long as you get bounty and wisdom rune. you effectively get 6 bottle charges to start, +4 per bounty rune, which is enough value to be worth it.
blink has really nice synergy so long as the enemy lacks aoe damage, as you can use shadow realm to avoid taking damage. You can pretty much go blink into aghs most games. (treads if you need it) I would like to buy orchid, but then aghs timing is bad. You kinda have to commit to one or the other.
as for aghs builds, you obviously need attack speed, and picking up a hyperstone is pretty good for that. I usually try to get attack speed into eye of skadi (it's just amazing) building the attack speed depending upon utility (mjolnir / bloodthorn / mkb) - hex is always a good late game item

As someone who's been playing phoenix for a long time, this is a great time to learn it. My wr is ~60% all time but in the last 1-2 patches it's been upwards of 80%

I have 8 games as Naga pos 5 with 6 of them being wins. I usually duo with a pos 1 with a CC. Deluge > root > WK stun is almost a 5 sec lockdown in lane. I rush shard if I have a lot of HP on the team, otherwise aether lens, force staff or aura items are good imo.

Kataomi of Entity was the first to play Sven supp in pro play, I believe. Seems natural that he'd do it again; and probably more with this Heavy Plate buff.

idk if they just forgot to put this in the patch notes, but Veno's Plague Carrier facet doesn't allow the wards to attack neutral creeps when they're on a hero. I can't tell if it's intentional or not
It feels like this new patch: they're giving carries a way to become support, and support characters to become carries
The arcane blink change nerfs ursa; it’s a really good blink dagger upgrade for him, lines up really well with overpower cooldown spam.
I haven't used Nightstalker recently, but oh boy that's a HUGE nerf

@ZQuixotix Abaddon Aghs every game! This the second patch they nerfed it in a row. Before your whole team could run into the fountain and live no problem or 5 man no deaths an axe call jakiro ult combo. lol I healed 90k from one game because Aba Aghs was OP. Not sure if its worth getting every game now though.

That forsaken facet on spectre is vad, ones you commit your ulti and kill heroes you can't back to the lane you came from. If you tp back its a lot of gold to spend also if you not fet the last hit, do I still prefer a twist of the knife but still a good buff

imo Bedlam being castable on allies made it too similar to Grimstrokes Ink Swell. So either make both castable on friend/enemy or neither. But ya Willow hard nerfed.

Raze slow being 15% early and only if you got hit by all 3 is huge. What sf did is hit you with a long one, Wait about 3-4 seconds, hit you with a medium then either catch up to you with windlace, hit a short or wait for long hit it then catch up and hit short. If a lane where sf already countered you like the spirits it had no counterplay outside of sitting next to tower and leeching denied xp after 4 until lvl 6 where you might try to make a play.
This nerf sucks for even and counter matchups for sf tho as they were dumpstering sf hard, but I think it's okay since fed sf can go physical and if you lost you got bkb, blink, kaya yasha and just innitiate for your team.

I can confirm that Abba's aghs was completely OP and its why he's had the highest wr in pub dota for ages. Nerf won't kill it thouhg, just make it a bit less reliable.

You don't realise how op it was, it was the second speed buff in recent years and if you were a low turnrate low movespeed hero like underlord/necro/viper, at the start of the game before you had boots or windlace the new hook was essentially impossible to dodge. The pre boot/windlace timing of the game was just terror against that facet.

I don't think Scattershot is trash on Sniper. It's actually a good nuke that melts down heroes. It is only useless on creeps.
yeah but typical sniper wants to scale late/mid late game and scattershot falls off past 20mins on the other hand the 400 range from bulls eye make him annoying. also sharpenl is more of a farming tool.

honestly a buff for dark sear this patch, his level 10 talent was broken we actually get 100% -> 110% wall illusion damage after this patch lol
it doesn't really matter, his lvl 10 talent to +20% more wall illusion damage didn't even work.

Treant shard bonus movement in trees is dumb. You still get bonus movement by 12%. Hammer is still good. Belam yes it's anerf but I like how it is now just press the key while getting ganked is easy to cast

can't comment on everything but for slark and troll:
slark: that facet will never be viable on pos1 slark unless they remove the ally hero radius almost entirely, and even then it's unlikely. maybe it'll be viable on mid slark if they buff the innate pre ulti. pounce 4 stacks of essence shift is just too good. with talents and aghs you are reducing and gaining 32 stats. a net stat change of 64 stats, like two ultimate orbs and an eagle song of advantage.
troll: really tiny nerf, especially since they nerfed LS who is a troll counter so imo this patch was a net help to troll. yes it's 60 attack speed but only after you already hit the new cap of 13 stacks with shard. very few targets do you hit much more than 13 times anyway. and at that point you have like 600 attack speed minimum, so it's a ~9% DPS loss at the end of killing on certain targets, mostly buildings, rosh, and tormentor. maybe in a game overall it's going to lower you damage by 1% if not less.

5:00 I play hookup, it was good now it is better, it is my counter to Tinker. But I played him from DotA so it is easy for me to stun 2 enemies and hook on my ally, this is now just like the Venge. PS, I think old ags on clock was WAY BETTER, yes this is fine with E, but with all AGS you will get all spells CD at the almost same time. You were not just a Tinker counter, you would destroy any support and carries with lvl25. Now is just blah... even without nerf, I don't think that talent was better. 5:24 You don't get it, try it in demo, put some heroes on patrol and hook taught them on our ally, you need some time to get timing right, but when you get it you will understand. You can stun 2 enemies give shield to ally then stun enemy, then refresh and do the same. I know it is hard, but it is so fun once you master it. PLZ do it in demo, it is a lot harder than you think. It is just like missing hook with pudge, look et it that way. Sry for rambling :D But it is not only on impact, if someone steps into a line they will get stunned as well, so if you wanna hook ur axe and some hero steps (after animation) he will be stunned he can be 2cm from you, it is only half stun, but it deals dmg can cancel some things ETC, you know, you are Dota player.
8:56 The thing with Void is that you are just bad till lvl 25, if you get lvl 25 you just win EVERY team fight, your team is just around 70% stronger than en enemy. The problem is the build, cuz lvl 1 and 2 time zone is just bad, so you don't have a power spike anymore. I think when someone finds great the build, he will be OP. I have tried with DB + Harpoon, it was ok... The problem is that you cannot just farm and just crono someone with PT+MS and kill him at early lvl's. But if you endure till late game you will win, all things are faster, roots are faster ticking dmg is ticking faster, for ur team as well... MB Void with Radiance? Or just similar build like Monkey King? I think there is a lot of potential there, but I think you have to pick heroes like underlord MB Lesh something like that.

Ohhhh, Tinker is dead... -40 pure dmg... That is a lot!!! And you lose the farm... It is overkill IMHO, yes matrix was annoying, but I don't like when they fully kill the hero... It wasnot that popular anyway... Magic SF build is basically dead as well, and he was not that strong as well. Yes, he did have some good matchups, but every midder dose. Now SF is better at safe lane.

The hero was sitting at 44.7% win rate in immortal and 44.3% in overall brackets in 7.36b, how on Earth is that deserved?? The hero is now sitting at 38.7% win rate in immortal. In fact, I would wager that if every single Dota player had to wager their life on whether Tinker was gonna get a huge buff or any nerf in 7.36c, every single one of them would have placed their bet on Tinker getting a huge buff.
It really is CRAZY. Tinker currently doesn't even have a gameplay and they're REMOVING the only things that remotely esembled to anything playable or fun.

The sub 50% win storm ofcourse nerfed again, no buffs for the many midlaners that are very weak right now (kunkka, qop, puck and others) and only a tiny nerf for visage, lifestealer, dark seer and CK when they are all extremely OP. Not sure why people bitch at WD, you get instantly jumped and killed, ulti does so insanely little damage that is laughable… even glass cannons just sit around chilling, waiting for you to come out of your ward form to kill you in 2 strikes. Veno is more of an annoyance these days because now poison does close to 0 damage, and in general supports became so weak and useless not only in mid and late game but in early game as well, that carry don’t even bother helping anymore. It is literally a miracle if a carry bothers to attack the player attacking a support. I am yet to enjoy a single game in current meta. Not exaggerating, I am playing since 2012 and there is not 1 game that I enjoyed. Even if we win, is like my carry won, supports did shit, except buying wards and feeding while putting them.
Absolutely delusional perspective, I’ve been queuing all roles (I’m not even a support player) and I’ve won 9 of my last 10 ranked games, there are a lot of supports that have huge impact right now. Skill issue
@@tyharris14 yea, I am sure forgot 12 years dota after an update. I was a veno fan literally for the last 5 years and out of the blue i forgot to play it over night. I went from extremely rare negative kd (and yes that is important even for supports, nobody asks you to have 30 kills but you should NOT feed) from constantly die 7 times, over night. Nothing works anymore, nothing have an impact, you just go put wards. If you got stuns then you may have an impact but that is about it. Last night, I was playing Undying, and also had CM. With tomb, with me getting their stats down, with CM ulti un top and the enemy were just chilling. They were "yes we move a little slower, but we were not in a hurry tu leave anyway" around 20% hp each they lost from all that. 4 patches ago there would have not been a living soul left in the that AoE, but I am sure it is just skill, they did not take damage out of pure skill, not because of the cringe update.
@@kurt120032002 lol? Undying is kind of weak but has always fallen off late game, and veno is strong right now, but only with the patient zero facet. If you took the ward one, no surprise you fed. Also, heroes with stuns are inherently valuable, just…pick one of them.

Only noobs get scared from that. those who realize they are getting no damage, and carry on with the fight, can't care less. Yes I use the patient zero. I just won a Veno game, like 3 min ago. while i did not feed, I was doing 2/3 of the damage I was doing for years.
@@kurt120032002 you’re utterly clueless. It isn’t just a spreading slow, you’ve misread the skill. It only doesn’t do the impact damage of noxious plague again when it spreads, it still does the max HP as damage, and it punishes the enemy for grouping up because they’ll spread max HP damage to the whole group.
You can't ignore half the hero list and then spend half of the video speaking about heroes you personally like. I don't play clockwerk, also CK was really strong in b, and you completely ignored him. Hopefully this criticism helps you make better content in the future
The CK nerf is entirely irrelevant, he lost 0.1 strength gain and 2 strength on his 10 talent. It’s 5 strength at level 30
