I learned how to do embroidery by hand and lately I’ve been making my own ghostbusters patches that match the screen used 84 “stanz” and “venkman” and I made an afterlife “ Spengler” patch
@@MakeItorBreakItNow depends on that patch and size, The first one I did was 5” and took almost two bundles of red floss. I think it took 3 or 4 hours to do, My last two we’re around 4” and probably took 2 hours to do but that’s just doing the red with the embroidery floss. I use puff paint for the black bits cause I can get better detail
Darn I really need to see the method you use for sewing. I got a “screen accurate” patch that has a slight white background around the patch that was apparently used to sew the patch on, but I am clueless as how to sew. Can you explain it?
poked through the sleeve of the flight suit and pulled it back through the other side. Stay tuned, I might add a video where I show the stitching on the inside. Thanks for the suggestion.
You can check Ebay, but it will run $15 or more. Every costume involves trade offs unless money is not an issue for you. You won't be able to tell its not felt from more than 1ft away...

Wow, that's impressive. How long does take to make a patch.

The GB patch made of the right materials (felt, I learned) is Perry difficult to come by. Any suggestions on where to get some?

That's cool.
you’re making this way over complicated than it needs to be.
