Excited for your section on how to overlimp and fold to one bet with pocket kings😀
Hello, David here. I can assure you this is the perfect play. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Regards, David
Gotta wait for the book no spoilers
@@Lexngton you're clearly an impostor. Not enough DUCY?
@@LexngtonDoes same play apply for AA ?? Assuming so 🤔
@@330miggs Hello Miggy, you are absolutely right. 88 for example is a better hand to continue because you block the nuts. Greetings, Mason
Bart, I'm pretty lurky here. But I've watched every video of yours for the last couple years.
I changed from live to online around Covid, but even though I haven't been in a live game in a few years now, I've still learned so much about this game from you and this channel.
Hand reading, thinking thru a hand, hearing all the different perspectives of callers, your input, I've gotten alot from this channel.
This is just a note of thanks. I appreciate what you offer to us all, and CLP is the best Poker strategy Podcast I've found. Thank you Bart, Blessings to you and your family 🙏
I love this breakdown of small stakes much more than the call-ins!! Keep it coming please!!!
This video was awesome, so fun to get some insight into the way you think about multi-way action. Would love some more of this! Thanks Bart.
Love this kind of content
I like your openness in your thought processes
Bart your insight is priceless. Thanks for this content.
Please make more of this content
Very nice, Thank you
Great video man!
Bart, for the AA vs JJ hand where you advocate a super small bet so you can rep some bluffs, what kind of bluffs are betting 125 on the flop and then 75 on the turn?
Thank you Bart.
Just became a premium member yesterday! Have been a big fan of Bart's for a long time.
Hey brother great info and love watching this kind of stuff but that being said one small criticism here. Will you change your mouse head to be either a dif color or maybe bigger because when you are pointing at people and saying this guy I have to rewind and try and track that thing and it ain’t easy
Thanks for that Bart.
The 7,8s hand that was opened I thought was ok to do. Raising there with that hand allows you to have a polarised range for raising. The call after the re-raise was questionable but realistically perhaps there is a percentage where you should call after an open raise.
I really enjoyed this video - it's like the call-in show but without the callers
wow that was like my last hole i needed to plug absolute bet size
when peoeple cbet 300% into a tiny flop i will continue more cause the relative size of the bet to their total bankroll is still really small so im over folding
Its funny, when I was learning to play I went to a web forum and was talking about how I believed that A high flops were often more dangerous than others given that weak aces made up such a huge part of the opponents range in 1/2. I basically got laughed at by the community there because they saw that I was seeing monsters under the bed, so-to-speak. Really funny to hear it so matter of fact in a training.
People really underestimate just how often low-stakes fish would rather flat all non-broadway Ax, than even just considering a 3Bet.
Nice vid, thx!
Because the stakes are smaller, the importance of not missing value bets/raises is more significant; paramount.
I've never played in Jacksonville but in Tampa and Miami everywhere I've played is a rake.
AYEEEEEE BEST BET! I'm a best bet player. When I played on the live stream my vpip was 26%
I also play at Bestbet
@@JO-ji4bb word? which one. Jax, OP, or St. Augie?
@@Bowling_Dude I’ve played at Jax but it’s usually St Aug
I had to wstch this at 1.5x speed. Good content but dang didnt realize tjat until hslf way througj the video
Florida is a rake now $6 + $1 or +$2..... the recs loooove the high hand promos. The high hand doesn't impact a good player's game as you hit it to compensate for the take.
rake vs drop is a huge difference. Assuming you play just ~25% of your hands per hour at a live 8 or 9 handed game and win ~1/3rd of your hands that's a brutal $13 to $18 an hour stripped from your winrate assuming $200 stacks. If the table is short the game is unbeatable with a drop.
Intro: "This level is equivalent to what most of you guys play at". Why am I feeling attacked here lol. But in all seriousness great video Bart, thank you so much!
Is the discount still available ?
Can I just buy a CLP hoodie Bart?
54:00 Interesting that you would be trying to not be able to raise the short all-in. I would be doing the opposite. Hope Dallas folds or calls and gives me a chance to raise. But you may be right.
At 28:03 Kevin doesn't look happy to fold 44. At 32:24 he literally wants to die!
They take $2 per hand that goes to the flop for badbeat then 10% rake, max $6.
Eyyy, this is where I’m cutting my teeth. Only like 15 min in so far but Bart you are nailing the commentary. Bunch of 🐠 🐟 🎣 🙃
32:00 Bet size
Bart, I think you would be shocked on how bad the play is at 1-2 at Commerce
The 1-2 at commerce is not even worth it even the 3-5 is shit.
@@CastroX1 I know you're right, but I go there a lot in the morning and getting on any game is near impossible. The 1-2 and 2-3 sometimes are the only options. I just play recreational for a hobby so I don't sweat it. The play at those levels is beyond comprehension compared to Bart's analysis of a reasonable hold em game.
@seanmac3381 1-2 and 2-3 people just end up shoving a draw and it's insane.
It gets so ridiculous. Yesterday, there would be 3 to 5 players limping then calling a 5x bb raise on almost every hand.
Those are the worst tables for sure
Those are the best tables
@@hoylemjraise bigger for value
Come to Canada. Limp $2 then call $10 raise then call a $60 3 bet. No joke.
@@bluerushing8563 what value vs 4-5 callers every hand no matter how hard u raise?
I love Doug Poke but Bart’s stuff i love even more!
It would be my first time playing on LIVE STREAM If I win one of the lucky picks
17:20 can initial opener have AA, KK, QQ here?
Why would he just call instead of 4/bet?
@@chessbrilliance8783 flying under the radar.
@@chessbrilliance8783 when you fly under the radar, you're more likely to find your target, and less likely to be shot.
Florida does not do drop games
Why the fuck does Kevin fold post flop in the last hand after calling pre? 😂
Bestbet is a raked game, but they rake Per flop..
Is that Mike Postle?
In Florida? He’d get verbally abused until he leaves the table haha
How tf are you surprised he has 78cc. Ive never in my life seen a live player fold 78 suited preflop
How would u know what they had if they folded? 😂💀
23:00 combinations, sure, but hands like A8 to AT just went from a river check back to a river bet. So, facing a bet I think Ryan is up against an A *more* after the ace pairs.
A higher percentage of possible Ax betting is not the same as seeing a bet more often
@@badkoolaid22 I'm not quite following you
@@DatAceTho putting another A on the board removes about 33% of all possible A-x combinations. If you weigh more towards suited A-x, it removes even more than that
So with 33% less A-x out there, you need the remaining A-x to bet 50% more often than before in order to see the same frequency of betting from A-x on the river. Given the action, that number seems hard to get to. Many Aces with a pair or straight draw bet that flop, so you're really only talking about A-2, -3, -10, as I feel like you'd see a good amount of C-bets from A-J+
All Florida rooms are raked, not dropped.
There is a rake for room and a drop for jackpot or “promotions” right?
You've got to live the thumbnail. "Small stakes" and there are thousands of dollars in green chips in front of him. Lol
ARE YOU EATING THAT MICROPHONE😮😂. As a fan that enjoys your content. We NEEEED to up the noise gate on the microphone. Half way through i found myself almost not being able to pay attention and just focusing on dreading hearing the swallowing and spit noises from your mouth. Love you content love your commentating love your knowledge so not speaking from a negative stand point only trying to help. 🙏 had to take my headphones out couldnt take anymore 😂
The pop ups during the video are really annoying and distracting. I don't mind the graphic but the sound effect added to it made me turn it off.
Ace X you all
Need some help. Getting beat set over set. Losing w Ace high flush vs straight flush. Villain rivers trips vs over pair. Am I bad at hand reading or just an unlucky stretch?
It's better to win the pot in my experience
I thought it is interesting that they allow players to be on their phones during a live stream!
It has a 30 min delay to the commentators. But it’s still weird bc someone in production can see all the cards. Don’t want a J4 off scenario again!
These long form breakdowns don't help me as much as just simply explaining the idea. By 30 minutes in i look like charlie from its always sunny trying to figure out how to apply it to my game.
