Pentatonix's unique twist they add to their covers is now being called the 'Pentatwist'
Kirstin’s height is listed as 5’4”, and all of the guys are tall, with Mitch being the shortest at 5’10” and Scott the tallest at 6’4”, which just makes Kirstin seem shorter. She always wears extremely tall heels/platforms, but even so barely reaches Mitch’s shoulders. Last year, while they were touring, Kirstin got to tease the guys for once because they all had to go under the stage to appear for the opening song and she was the only one who didn’t have a problem with it. (2019 PTXperience vlogs on their channel)

Love this one! Mashups are not technically originals but the way PTX does them almost makes them feel like they are. Impossible not to like your reactions as you so obviously enjoy doing them.

I'm glad you're starting to get back to some of the classic older stuff. I LOVE any song that prominently features Kirstie. Her voice just mesmerizes me. Kirstie is listed as 5'4", but that may be a little bit exaggerated because she looks closer to about 5'1" to me. She's definitely a tiny little one, and has said in interviews that she has to wear high heels on stage or otherwise she looks like a munchkin compared to the others! All the guys in the group range from average male height (Mitch is 5'10" and Avi is 5'11") to really tall (Kevin is about 6'1" and Scott is 6'4"). Matt is about the same height as Kevin. I'm 6'2" myself, and I usually tower over everyone around me, so I can't even imagine reaching Scott's level!
One of my absolute FAVORITE mashups of theirs!!! Ugh I’ve been waiting for this one. 😍 Also, google says Kirstin Maldonado is 5’4” but I’m pretty sure that’s just because the girl is almost ALWAYS in heels. Haha When I met her a couple summers ago, we definitely stood eye to eye. I’m 5’ so she’s MAYBE 5’1” at most. She’s got a lot of talent wrapped up in that tiny frame!
I remember I heard this song before I heard either of the originals and I was so confused for so long whenever I heard one of them cause it took me over a year to realise it was a Mashup lmao, I thought La La Latch was just the name of one song they covered, they're amazing honestly
I realize this is 2yrs old, but when I heard this I thought it was one song till my friends schooled me on it. They are so seamless put together.
Not a surprise though, because they did win the SINGOFF A CAPELLA competition. They are AMAZING!
Another song that was as I call it "Pentacized" . Kirsten is just downright sexy in this song. I've always loved this song as Kevin does some serious beatboxing and some serious sound affects they do together. They do a live version on 3 AM (a radio station) it's insane.
Avi has released new music on youtube and getting to hear his voice outside of amazing. It shows so much more of his range and tone.
On the SyFy channel during Alien Resident,on 2-10-21 they played Avi Kaplan's song Change on the Rise during their episode on Wednesday night.
This mashup is so good, I forget that La La La and Latch are 2 different songs, it's so seamless.

As others have mentioned, they are absolute masters of mash-ups! I've always loved this one. Other recent ones are "New Rules x Are You That Somebody" which really shows off the talents of Matt and Kevin, and my all time favorite mashup: "Despacito x Shape of You", which unfortunately has no official video, so you'd have to go either audio only or with one of the cellphone fan videos from a concert.

She’s about average for a woman at 5’4”. Scott’s got at least a foot on her, Kevin’s over 6’, and Mitch and Avi are both 5’10”. Mitch likes to rock some platforms onstage, so he sometimes looks taller.

Been waiting for this one! My favorite PTX mashup! A suggestion: Can you back up the video like 10 seconds after you stop to comment? I think you stop at key points when a new singer comes in (like Mitch with his high voice) and miss some of the group's awesomeness. A lot of PTX reactors back up the video like that, so they don't miss any vocal effects. Again, just a suggestion. Love your reactions!

WE don't always notice Kirsties height, because most times either she's right in front or they have a lot of movement happening. Even then, in their last vid before Christmas, in the Amazing Grace, we see she's petite, put yes, I sorta figured she was around 5'1 or 5'2, since I figured Scott was around 6' 4

When you stop and make a comment about something, the flow is interupted (of course) and and the whole presentation is VERY rough and choppy.
With the 3 sec overlap, the viewer recenters their musical thoughts and knows where they were in a song and the song continues.
It makes the flow of your output so much smoother, like the FLOW of Rap.
You might want to try it for a couple of weeks and see if your views, likes and subscribes increase.
