That’s how good they are at mashups. You thought it was only one song. It’s a mashup of La La La and Latch. It’s hard to tell when they’re singing one and then going into the other. Then of course they usually end up singing both songs at the same time. That’s where they really shined above the other groups on the sing off. With the other groups it was obvious when they were switching songs and way more choppy transitions.
You and everyone else, Scott just grows on you till you realize the dude is a magnificent vocalist. He paints songs with his textures. t took me a while to realize just how good he was! So much of a massive upgrade!!!!

This is a great mashup, I think combining the two songs this way really brings new meaning to them. And YES, such a bop! This is actually one of my friend's favorite PTX song.
I agree the songs were blended so seemingly people hardly realize LaLaLa and Latch are separate songs. One of their best mash ups. I've so many favorites though, I have never been able to pick even a top ten.

Meghan Trainor just came out with a single, “Sensitive”, feat Scott, which I downloaded without even listening to first lol. But call me crazy, I can’t seem to pick out his voice/part. One recommendation: “All of Me” by Shoshana Bean, feat Scott. That song is AMAZING.

I do not like the original (Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli) prior to this being released my favorite cover is Josh Groban and Charlotte Church . I don't know about now but when Josh Groban was getting his start David Foster was his manager . In the Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli's duet Andrea's parts are all sung in Italian where as in this version they switch to English after the the first verse. There's an interesting story how Josh Groban is connected to this song but that's for another time.
Many reactors think that what Scott is saying in Italian is what Mitch just said in English. It is not. Just Google lyrics for The Prayer and you'll get the lyrics which has the translation of the Italian into English. Originally it was written that all of Scott's part is done in Italian.
It was not written to be a Christmas song. But since it appeared on their Christmas album everybody Associates the two together. The same is true of Hallelujah and seasons for love.

Here is a challenge for you. Pentatonix has made numerous appearances on TV specials, but really good videos are difficult to locate. The best you may get will be an audio version, but hearing them is worth it. Another interesting thing is that on these specials its their vocals that you will hear, not their acapella skills. You'll hear them backed by musicians.
*PTX as part of John Williams Orchestra for Star Wars Tribute. They got to wear Star Wars style costumes!
*PTX at Tom Hanks Tribute at the Kennedy Center Honors singing Do The Things You Do from Hanks' movie of the same name.
*PTX at BeeGees Tribute singing Too Much Heaven. They were the only guest performers whose vocals suggested the BeeGees sound and was appreciated by Barry Gibb, the last surviving member of the group.
*PTX at anniversary tribute to the Broadway musical Wicked singing What Is This Feeling. Kirstie and Mitch are the leads in this one with Scott, Matt, and Kevin as backup. Audio might be your last resort, but I think you will have some luck finding a video. You will see a few reactions from others who did manage to view the performance.
*PTX at the most recent PBS A Capital Fourth special singing Seasons of Love from the Broadway musical Rent. This time they are backed by additional background singers. You will love it because Kirstie gets to let loose on this one!

I love this song because the perfect transitions in the mash up, but also love that everybody shine, Scott is amaizing, Kirstin is also great, a perfect Mitch, but with out the meat and potato's wouldn't work this well

I liked a lot of your reactions to PTX, but sorry I have to give you a thumbs down on this one...I watched it twice, you stop exactly EVERY 30 seconds. It was sooo annoying, I'm starting to wonder if you like the sound of your voice than listening to Pentatonix. Keep this up I will Unsubscribe.
LOL. Might as well leave now with that attitude. The pausing is to avoid video blocks and copyright claims. If you don't understand how much of an issue that is with PTX reactions then I'm not sure you pay attention anyway.
Most of us are here for the REACTION. I want the pauses and discussion because I would rather listen to the SONG on the official channel.

@@TeapotNinja - there are many ways to play the video from yoohoo from blocking it, stopping the video every 30 seconds is not one of them. You can go on for a full 120 seconds and stop and make a comment you'll be saved from being blocked.
