Chris de Burgh at 6:24. He was the warmup band when I saw Supertramp the 2nd time in my life in Ottawa. That Supertramp concert was nothing short of the best concert of my life and when Chris and his band came back out to help with the backing vocals for this song, it was simply magic. Best times ever.

@Beverly Diehl It's probably their "english humour" way to entertain the audience for some instants. They used the same props in the Paris concert film after Asylum and Fool's Overture.
Interesting, but what did the creatures MEAN? They didn't have them at the Forum, in Los Angeles, in 1979, but they DID have dancing Cornflake and other cereal boxes during Breakfast in America.
No idea. I think someone said that, on Fool's Overture, it was alluding to the "Let's go crazy" line. According to your experience on Breakfast in America, perhaps there's some subtle analogy to the song theme there? It was also common for them to put the guest chorus in that bit of Hide in Shell, so maybe it happened that they were already dressed like that and didn't care? I don't know much about Supertramp, could this be the finale before the encore? 🤷🏻♂️
Roger's voice is irreplaceable for SUPERTRAMP. I have seen this live back then on VHS in 1985...Remember this where Chris de Burgh walking and singing with friends on Stage....Great Farwell Live for Roger
Dumb move on Roger’s part…with him going solo. Even under pressure to get Hodgson back in the fold, there was no way Rick would forfeit the business)$$$ to make that happen
This is the concert where he announces it is his last with Supertramp. Too bad.. this was the best backing band to support his music. His first two solo albums would have made great Supertramp records. And really pulling out of that group ended it for the rest of the guys..really who wants to go see Supertramp no matter how good a band they were with out those Hodgson songs & his voice. I remember back then I bought that first non Hogson Supertramp Cd I was clueless..when I heard the Cd I was like what is this.. where is that magic voice. It's like Chicago..Peter Cetera was the Golden Goose.
