Nightshade's notes: This was another fun one for me. I've said it before, but since I went deaf on one side, I can't hear my own binaural effects -- but in some ways, that makes it even more fun to figure out how to do it. And the animation I added to this is fairly simple, but it's continuous, and I think it keeps it visually interesting throughout. It's just a bonus, of course, and you can still put down your phone and listen without watching!
I tried to interpret this character as being... less evil and more childish. You know how little kids don't completely understand how other people think? They don't quite get how what they want could make other people unhappy? They can't quite see beyond what's right in front of them yet, don't know how to grasp a bigger picture? That's how I interpreted this dryad. Her forest is great! Why would anyone not want to be a part of it? That's got to be way better than being human!
I hope you all enjoy being trees! I'm sure her forest will be the nicest one around once you all have listened! Thank you for your support, my dear royal court and royal knights!

Getting forcibly turned into a tree sounds like a horrifying way to die
Trees are alive! I mean, she's got a "human form", which implies that most of the time, she's a tree, and she likes it! But if you really hate it, then for you and others who hate it, the real ending is that a second after she snaps her fingers and the audio ends, she says, "Just kidding!"
People who actually want to be turned into a tree can still be a tree, though.

I know this vid is meant to be taken as a comedy, but I do remember an audio roleplay from years ago I was never able to find again. The listener was hypnotized by a nymph or some kind of forest spirit before being slowly turned into one of the trees. I think it had something to do with the theme of granting "everlasting life" or something along those lines. All I remember is that it was genuinely hypnotic and peaceful, and I really got sad when I couldn't find it anymore.
This is what chaotic Fey energy really is. It's not intently evil or anything... just... impulse driven.

P.S. I'm gonna level with you, I think the puppy dog eyes would have broken me... but only if I was allowed to be a pear tree. Pears are delicious.
Ah poor Dave. If only we had Kronk (Emperor’s New Groove) around to translate squirrel language. Though… maybe we don’t want to know want he said. I suppose being a tree wouldn’t be too bad. I would use all the tree puns. Trust me they are all unbeleafably funny. Just let me know if I need to branch out though if it gets a little too acorny.
