@youngr if you don't mind me asking, do you have the midi from those electronic drum pads (that you are using for the kick and snare) sync'd/quantized to the BPM?
Yeah it's only USB coming out of that Alesis into Ableton, then after I've recorded it it's quantised to the grid. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I watch and listen to Young from the world-hated Russia. I like Young's work and I don't understand why it is sometimes not actively supported by the English-speaking community. Maybe I'm wrong, but Younger's studio space has shrunk a lot. You make remixes of other people's songs absolutely unique. It seems to me (I'm probably wrong) that you should focus more on your own work, giving up remixes and re-recordings. Write your own music and lyrics. I'm definitely going to listen to this. If only CZcams remains available for Russia.
