I don't care if this bike puts out less hp than other litre bikes, Honda nails it in the looks department and Honda quality is tops and I have had over 50 Japanese bikes over the years, awesome stuff!
Ive never seen such a perfect hp curve. You nailed it. If i ever get a litre bike im definitely sending you my ecu.
Thank you!
@@TeamMooreMafia hello I wanted to ask you, I have the cbr1000rr sp 2018, I did ECU and bmc filter, plus Exan terminal and dbkiller racing. I did dynojet, and it gives me 160hp as a result, in my opinion too little to also have a filter and exhaust.. in your opinion? Do you have an address where I could send you the photo of my run on the dyno? Thank you
just think, 99% of squids will slap a pipe, an airfilter, & a PC with a shitty off the net map & think they gained alot of power 🤦🏼♂️. Nice work chris, you show the importance of doing the job right 👍
Most squids aren't riding an SP but yeah basically
PC gives specific maps for exhausts and the Dynojet autotune is also available. With that the squids actually gain a lot of horsepower. Of course, not as clean and optimized as this but not outright shitty.
Best looking bike of its generations compare to other brands imo...
Just sent mine for a Flash... The throttle hesitation on these fireblades are killers.... Great job Moore.
Thank you!
Waiting for the new blade to show up!
I love when you explain how the ecu steals power and how you give that power back to the rider it's the best part.
Insightful as always. Appreciate your content.
That’s an awesome job. As soon as the 2020 R1 ecu is cracked, I’ll be sending mine to you
Honda for the win! They make smooth power throughout and just an extreme joy to ride. Definitely the cadillac of sport bikes so comfortable and Soo smooth. Probably never own another brand, I've had alot of bikes but honda has it down to an exact science.
The ECU professor . Thanks for the lessons. Your #1 Greek fun!
Thank you!
Magnifique travail de tuning map. Congratulation and impressive horses gain.
I own a 2019 sp2 ....... for the road theres no better sports bike ... love it
Love your channel and content Chris, keep up the good work, btw when are you racing Ricky Gadson, can’t wait for that!
Man I love that bike. It's not the fastest but that 17-19 model year fireblade SP is my dream bike.
@MrDecaffeinato lol facts bro
I agree ill even be happy with base model... ill mod it myself
I ride the 19 sp1 on the streets whenever I can. I've never been on a track with it. Its so damn smooth and easy to throw around. An absolute beast to ride on backroads. Keep working towards thats dream and dont let anyone talk you out of it because ultimately its your life. I don't have a single regret buying that bike.
@@makeyourownluck8823 Much appreciated bro🙏🏾
@@hfr8343 no problem dude 👍🏻
It's almost like you know what you are doing Chris 👌💥👍😀
I would have thought 35 miles was too early to dyno / tune a bike but there you go
Congrats on your gsx-r record. That wheelie was fucking insane
Moore Mafia getting the most HP on all the Motorcycles 🏍 You the Man….👍
Chris you definitely have your tunes dialed in. Do you also mess with any of the domestic twins? I'd love to see what you could do with a Milwaukee 8 114 with a good exhaust system and air intake after you put your magic on a power vision.
Dude you have a kickass job great shit 🤘🤘🤙
Glad someone is exploring other bikes. We need all bikes on the track, not just 2 flavors
Thanks guys
Excellent Content!
lovley sounding exhaust
Thanks for this great video and great Job dude. 🇧🇷 🇦🇺
Yeh it's down on the huge gains that the Kawas and Zuks make, but for a Honda, that is good figures right there 👍
I totally agree. It doesn't make the HP like the others but for a Honda, that's HUGE....
Great video I was wondering if I only put a slip on pipe can I reflash the ecu and make some more horsepower
SP has identical engine to the base model, No differences at all.
This 20hp is simply the bike running stock EU power. You should be able to get 20hp gain with stock exhaust.
Thanks this answers my question
100% I wonder if he knows about the intake restrictor plates.
not true, you wont get 170 without dumping the cat. See his other CBR tuning videos
Crusader General the rest of the world get the very same exhaust with the cat and they are 20hp up on the US bike.
@@RCFourFive US bike has restricted air box, in UK for example, they dont.. You dont know what "the rest of the word" has.
I’m in NC. I’ve got this exact bike, would be nice to get it tuned like this. Wow 20 HP is huge.
I’d love to see a flash and tune on a Kawasaki zx12r. They don’t get any love compared to everything else. Would love to see how they compare.
Thank you for clearing that up. Someone had to say it.
Going to need to bring you my 08 GSXR 600 in the spring. It has a tune on it and a PC5(not sure by who or if it's even a good one), but I want to remove it and just do it all through the ECU.
20hp gain. damn, you know what you're doing and you've got a fun job!
Thank you!
These bikes come so restricted and choked up from the factory now.
@JD Rides 20hp on the butt DYNO is massive! It will put that shit eaten grin on your face again! Lol
Not really very impressive simply bc this bike comes super-restricted and nearly ANY tuner, that uses the Woolich equipment, derestricts the 20hp up top. Hardly rocket science, once Woolich gives you the means.
FYI for this model year engine is same as base model. 2021 SP all new engine. 2021 base model had the 2019 engine.
Rr or rrr? Rrr and rr are being sold side by side.
The 2021 RR-R SP is all new, new generation of the CBR1000, the 2021 RR is a carry over from the last generation and only USA has the last gen RR for sale, everywhere else is discontinued. Japan, and UK has a non SP RR-R base model which has the new engine. The RR-R SP has upgraded shocks, brakes, lithium battery and quickshifter, but same engine as the RR-R base model.
Next time you are in Florida you should try to collab with ole cleetus McFarland. Maybe a little grudge race between momba and ruby or leroy????
I'll be sending you my 17 CBR1000RR ecu soon.
Im gonna have to bring you my 2019 ZX10 RR limited edition. Love the channel!
Let's do it!
How do i go about setting up dyno tune?
He just had one that made 200HP with only a pipe and filter.
@@addij3689 i have more done than that. So hopefully over 200hp.
sending in the ecu for my 2019 cbr1000rr monday to get flashed 💪🏽💪🏽
I'll be out of town starting Wednesday. Get it in by Tuesday or wait till the next week.
Paying for my aprilla 660 rs deposit this week, I added the akrapovic full exhaust as the option since I’m here in Florida. When do you think tunes will be available for this model?
funny, I have that same bike (2018 though) and i also live in NY. I might have to swing by.
I too have a 2018. Most amazing machine on two wheels I've ever had the pleasure of owning.
Did you have to take the fan off the radiator to get the header's on? I just did mine with the fan on and it was a nightmare! Plus a proper spring puller would have been helpful.
2020 is on another level.
Nice video🔥💯
I need to quiet my exhaust at above 10K RPMs due to track restrictions. Will the Akro be louder than stock at higher RPMs? Maybe you can add sound levels to future videos since it is becoming a concern in more places. That being said, can the ECU be changed to open the stock exhaust flappers later? Also, not sure if I missed it, but what was the air filter change?
YEAH Buddy ! ! Like I said , I have the twin to that bike .. same pipe and all.. live in Denver.. I need HP badly. And like I told you Chris , winter is here have snow .. ECU is coming your way .. Thanks Man .. can't wait to feel the difference..
How you send a ecu him please guide me I wanna also ecu flash for my zx10r 2014

Hey im in Denver too with a 2012 1000RR. I want to send Chris my ECU to remove some restrictions but i dont think he can tune for altitude....
@@cangiscon .. I have been emailing back and forth. Said yes he could for our altitude...
@@normpage4604 Nice! I emailed him a while back and he told me he could not tune for it on my motorcylce, maybe somthing changed. Ill take my chances and have him do it though, i really dont want a piggy back ecu
Hey Chris. I have a 2012 CBR1000RR with a full SC Project racing exhaust, and it has this exact same problem. How it idles exactly as this SP-1 u jus tuned. I was curious as to what the process for sending and tuning the ECU was like. . Possibly estimated turn around time. Think this would be the perfect time since it’s cold outside. Serious Inquiry. Keep up the great work guys .....👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I send them back out the same day i receive them! Just follow the instructions here to mail it in.

It’s always been a good bike round the Isle of Man TT over the years. And let’s be honestly you’ll win the race if you actually cross the finish line unlike me on my Ducati that was constantly fucked with electronic faults and shit falling off it. 🤦🏽♂️😂
2 questions.
1- Is gutting out the stock cat as good as an after market header?
2- Is ceramic coating the header going to help make Hp and keep coolant and oil temps down?
No and no
Hey you should get some of your customers to record they’re reactions to when they get their bikes back !
Just picked up a 19 sp1 almost a year ago. That was one smooth power curve compared to stock. I will definitely send my ecu your way. That thing sounds like a beast. Do you think it would still gain close to 20hp without doing headers? I might still do akro headers too though.
you need to do away with the Cat, so you need new headers since the cat is integrated. You wont get the sound or as much HP without doing the headers
This is killer.
Enjoy your work! Are you able to get into a 2014 KTM RC8R’s ECU?
I can only do Japanese bikes at the moment
On your professional opinion how much more would the brocks full system make if he had went that way?
Sweet. I wonder what's the 0-60 and 0-100mph times are now.
Hi. I just got one for trackdays, but I'm in the UK, so cant bring it to you unfortunately, but I have learned a lot. Thanks. When you decat, what happens to the 02 sensor? I see you had your probe in the hole for this run, but where is the sensor? Thanks
It usually gets plugged off.... and deleted in the ecu- of a sensor saver is used. Makes for shit idle on cold starts in the winter...
Great Job 👏

Excellent bike, very light and nimble.
On roads it shines!
you are right my friend i have a 13 and in the corners it's insane!! 75 in the 35 mph corners is so easy, i love it !
@@davidmarberry5565 The only reason I sold my 2017 SP was the bike size.
It was simply to compact for me...
In corners the bike outclasses everything!
Do you do much fueling changes at partial throttle openings? Seems it would be very time consuming to make changes at all the different rpm and throttle openings or is it all programmed through the single sweep. I mean great if its fuel/air is good at WFO but is it still lean everywhere else?
Every throttle position is tuned. The bikes run crazy lean without adjusting it.
Thank you.
I kinda tear up a little watching these videos...... sooo sooo want to send my bike to you..... I’d love to squeeze every ounce of power out of my ‘14 VFR800F
Good stuff 👍👍
Chris I got one of these new recently...is there a map for this...if so I'll be sending my ecu to you
I’m just curious with you doing an ecu flash is this healthy for the bikes engine? He’s also bypassing the oxygen sensors and other sensors installed from the factory and that makes me wonder if you can blow your engine when ridden hard.
running lean runs hot, ironically adding fuel COOLS the engine
Dude you should do a turbo busa swap into a small lightweight car
In the beginning were you talking about breaking in a brand new engine? And when your past the 10 heat cycles how long would i hold it at the different rpms just a few seconds? And just once per rpm?
the engine will be broken in after 10 heat cycles
@@k2_brye173 oh okay thanks. He mentioned somthing about going through thr rpm range to break it in as well and idk for how long.
@650ib needs to do this
Question.... how come you dyno some off the bike and some on the bike.
Dont worry Chris we both call that bramd name muffler the same way 🤷🏾♂️🤣🤣they get the point

Can you try out the ducati superaport 950? Or 939?
it would be nice to see stock tune before adding parts
With just an ecu flash you mean
like your channel, just a clarification ETV at 60% does not mean 60% of power.
How do we set up appointments with u chris I want to send my bike to u to tune and ECU flash??????
I know it wouldn't work on a dyno. But have u or u k ow anyone that would tune a can am F3 spyder and a good exhaust for one . Can8 took me out of the 2 wheel riding.
Fantastic !
Very good job
Thank you
So. Did the 2020 CBR1000rr get the redesigned engine, that put out 200hp?
Can you do ninja H2 2020 ECU flash like sending with you they ecu
Do you know if the oil filter for these model SP’s (sc77) is the same as a standard 2016 model (the sc59)?
interesting..; does that mean honda cheaped out?
Wow look at that, it's just like I predicted. The problem is the USA ECU. The UK ECU STARTS at 165-170 as a BASE.
Whoa, so wat about tuned? Same im assuming?
@@daviddaniel2870 a tuned sc77(2017-2019 cbr1000) on a UK Ecu can put 180+ to the wheels but they will top at high 180's. The ability to tune the injectors to handle engine work comes from an HRC Kit ECU that was only sold/given as an option to SP2 owners, or very close friends of HRC.
@@wudntulike2no32 except the actual programming on the UK Ecu is completely different so there does make a difference where the boards SOFTWARE comes from.
On the USA boards SOFTWARE you will cap at 170's, due to code and options honda took out. If you were to completely rip a UK boards code and throw it onto a blank USA board, then the re-programmed USA board would allow for tuning past 170(but not past high 190's).
Unless the UK Ecu's code was ripped and put into a USA bikes board, this will always be the case. And Mr Moore, as well as other tuning experts, don't do this(because it takes forever) so the FTEcu or Woolich ecu flash the bikes, tuning only one power mode to the top USA standards that it can reach (170's).
A correctly re-mapped USA to UK ecu would have the entire bike changed, even the other auto selected profiles.
@@wudntulike2no32 you need to here this:
czcams.com/video/kUpuLDJr1_s/video.html
And unless you have an HRC SP2 pushing 220rwhp+, you simply dont have enough info to combat these facts.
@@wudntulike2no32 except the SP1 and SP2 use the same electronics, except for the fuck ups in the SP2's quick shifter and traction control. As for a stock for stock SP1 vs SP2 the bigger head makes all of 2hp difference at the crank.
Even, with an SP2 you need the kit ecu and kit wiring harness to be able to properly tune for any engine upgrades(which were done using HRC engine kit starting at a lovely $2500USD per cam). Idk man, youre really showing a lack of knowledge here lol. I mean what do I know, I just have a converted ecu on my SP2, and ive seen the before and after dyno numbers on the same dyno as the FT/Woolich but believe what you want. The blade engines are VERY capable of making mid to high 180's at the wheel with no engine mods, SP2's are high 180's, low 190's.
I need a tune!
650ib should send his cbr to you
what kind of top end hp gains would you see over the stock 152, leaving the stock exhaust on but just flashing the ecu? So basically how much power are they holding back on a completely stock bike with the restrictions in the ecu?
My guess is it would have a similar curve, just less power. Maybe 10 hp for the exhaust and 10 for the flash. Just a guess though.
He is correct. I would guess approx 160ish
US bike with stock exhaust and simple Euro style de-ristriced tuneshould net 170rwhp.
Understand he EU bike is rated at 189hp at the crank and the US bike is rated at 168hp at the crank.
Identical hardware - so it stands to reason the US bike with stock exhaust and similar EU ECU setup would be the same 189hp at the crank as the EU bike.
@moremafia why does the ETV graph only goes up to 11k when the bike redlines at 13k.
Only the SP2 comes with different heads, SP has the same engine as the standard fireblade .
The SP has the same heads and cam as the base 1000RR. You are thinking of the SP2.
Correct. And this 20hp simply puts the bike to stock EU power levels, nothing more.
@@RCFourFive is there a way US bikes can be brought up to EU spec and then add more power on top of that or is that too complicated and or costly?
@@HRCfan17 yes, that's its exactly what I have been doing :)
Could you please explain heat cycling & the different rpm changes to properly break in . . . does that riding or idling ? Thanks much !
When you buy a new bike (or any vehicle with an internal combustion engine that I’m aware of), there is a break-in period for the engine. This allows the piston rings to seat properly inside the cylinder (maybe some other stuff too). The owners manual will tell you take it easy when riding through the first couple hundred miles and to vary the engine speed, not sit at the same rom for too long. So these guys are letting the bike sit in neutral while giving it throttle, holding it at various RPMs in order to complete the break in cycle
You had me at titanium … I think that the SP is soooo sexy (totally conflicted between this Honda, the Kawasaki ZX10 and the Ducati Panigale - it’s only money, right?)
I sent in the ecu from my 2015 cbr1000rr all stock for a flash hoping to get the temperatures down and the jumpie idle down and from the instructions to delete the oxygen sensor i got an engine light on... i installed the sensor back on i still saw no changes
Basically no differences after the flash! Fan comes on around 215-220 and the idle still jumpie! I paid around 250$for a two stickers and a key chain lol
All of the engine and power restrictions are one of the reasons everyone always talks about how completely reliable Honda sportbikes are.
Of course if you never or almost never run your bike at full power production through almost every single gear you will have considerably less engine stress and with that far less performance, but hey you got a bike that will run forever, as long as you don't mind getting passed on your thousand CC CBR by a Gixxer 600 or an R6 or or or!
I'm not saying that I don't like them but I am 49 and already had multiple 600,; 750, 1000 and even a gen 1 Busa, so now I am okay with lower horse power in exchange for engine life.
That said I still have a B-king in the stable that isn't a dad bike.
Also it will annihilate CBR 1000 SP, and a few other big bore litre bikes!
hi from utah
my 2008 honda cbr 1000rr has a jardine module n exhaust if I send you the ecu can you add more hp or just keep as is
PRESENT SIR!!!!!its SUNDAY!!!!!!!SUNDAY!!!!!!!SUNDAY!!!!!!!
Is mode 1 not like just the baby/rain tune? And mode 5 would be balls to the wall??
Nvm. Just seen mode 1 is 100% i personal like the a b c mode options.
So the SP-1 tuned is the same as the RR-R.
I have a cbr1000rr 2019 What if I send the ecu to get flash but I can’t take the bike over. Would I still see gains and run properly even if it’s not dyno tune like the bike on the video? I live in South Florida
