He pointed out the fact that countries like India and China are producing the geniuses that are the actual force behind America's scientific prosperity.

I know several people who went back with lucrative offers in the past and system could not appreciate them. System needs to provide what is needed for innovation to prosper and Modi government is working in right direction. Elect Modi for next 20 more years and a new generation prospers in new Bharat that is strong in any regard. As an Indian, I can confirm that I hate our education system for the insurmountable amount of pressure that is imposed to the students throughout higher secondary and college years. But at the same time, I am glad that it works the way that it does... because it helps build character, teaches valuable lessons and gets _some of us_ accustomed to the heavy competition in the world.
Also, the main reason why I think it works well in producing good engineers and researchers is because of the huge number of candidates that sit in exams every year, forcing majority of them to prepare hard just to get a decent middle class job. A good amount manage to reach top-level jobs while others get stuck in limbo. It's sad but it is how it is.

Positives about Indian education system is that, we've humongous competition ,and our syllabus is like, way ahead from others in many aspects, like my friend in UK sends me question of basic fraction that i studied in 5th Grade, that too when i was in 11th, when I'm studying complex numbers 😂. I can say that, if you've studied well, not too good, but just well, you can easily compete to other students of the world, in the subjects *. Especially when we're in 12th grade, we give JEE and NEET exams, here we solve questions that SAT can't match the level. Getting into IIT is tougher than MIT, and getting into AIIMS(for medical) is tougher than IIT. People who have studied genuinely in our education system lead to a good future. The most number of people who bash our system, have not studied that much. Yes, our system has tooooo much flaws, like I'm also irritated sometimes, but still, the other side of the coin is also bright.
