    As an Indian kid, I would say we are in fact good at math. Most of us love math, but some obviously hate it. When Indians, even those who hate math, go to a different country they realize that they're much better at math than they thought. I've seen this happen many times in my life. Also the reason we're able to answer these exponent questions so easily and quickly is because most of them we've seen several times in textbooks and have memorized. For example, I'm just 11 but I was able to answer all of these questions in a matter of seconds.

    While it's good that they have memorize the tables, it's actually not that bad too even if you don't. I mean, when you calculate complex math problems, one would not try to solve it with just his mind. Thus, energy spent by 1 muscle in x seconds = z/y
      ==> Energy spent by 1 muscle in 1 second = z/xy

    I remember in American school, only a handful of students liked math. Everyone else hated it. I remember in middle schools this one classmate asked why algebra and anything after that needed to be taught in school. That it’s not needed in the adult world unless you’re in STEM.
    I definitely think something is wrong in regards to the US education system in regards to math. Because American kids hate it. Only a handful of them go to more advanced math classes in high school

    I remember as children, our parents wrote down the expenses for the month like grocery and stuff, while we calculated the expenses. Teachers gave us questions, the ones asked by our juniors to solve in class or to check their notebooks.
    We also get to learn vedic maths, which is a pretty good stuff. I think every Indian has this quality within them, that if one question can't be done quickly, they haven't understood the concept well. I used to calculate my father's, teachers salaries and the annual income of my school or college when I was bored.
    These are small instances, where maths was required and the ones asked in this video are mathematics from grade 3-4, there are harder things like differential equations as well.
