where my curly girls at?!
Right here sis!😍
I’m more of a wavy gal 🥰
Yes girl!!!
MEEEE!! Transitioning back to curly after a very long time of just straightening my hair, we have the same exact hair so this made me 😭🥺 and last week I asked you if you could make this video, and you did!! Love you Amanda!!!!!!
🙋🏽♀️
The Shea Moisture Manuka honey INTENSE hydration hair mask saved my hair!
Shea Moisture ALWAYS!! I love that company! Check out my latest video which features tons of Shea Moisture products!
the mask literally saved my hair as well
Did u try the shampoo and conditioner the same lines
I just ordered it on target.com thanks!
curly hair I didn’t try the shampoo but I didn’t try the regular conditioner from the same line. I don’t like it as much. The mask is the only products from the line that I’m obsessed with!
When you cut off the processed ends it is going to be sooooo satisfying, I know it was for me!
same! my transformation did not truly begin until my "chop"! Please check out my latest video to see where my curls are 3 yrs later!
Rachel Lauren your hair looks bomb girl!! Also love your name btw 😉😌 haha
Yep. When the straight damaged ends are removed it really helps.
I was just thinking that😫😫😫
Same here
Tip: use your creams first to add moisture to your hair and then any oils on mid shaft to ends. Last, use the gel to create the cast to seal in those moisturizing products. ( it’s harder for those creams and oils to penetrate through the gel to hydrate and over time you’ll notice your hair feeling dryer and dryer)
After my hair is 100% dry I will apply some argon oil to my hands and scrunch our the crunch and my curls are touchable, soft, has hold, and shine.
Hope this helps❤️ you have beautiful hair!
I was just gonna say that, because that’s how I do my hair and it helps so much
Thanks so much for the tips 😄
Saaaame!!
I wash my hair everyday because if I don’t it’s all frizzy when I wake up in the le I he and I know it’s really bad for my curls but I don’t know how to deal with that like how can I stop washing it everyday without it getting frizzy???
@@luisatorresenriquez4740 have a look at treatment via your diet . Drinking 2000 mls of water plus a day with no caffeine will help new hair growth to be more hydrated . And lots of vitamins in your diet . Maybe wet Yr hair of u need to but don't use shampoo every time . As lots of them strip your hair of natural oils . Where as just wetting Yr hair and use sulphate free conditioner only . And then sulphate free shampoo only once a week .
Can we please talk about how KILLER that intro was??? Amanda that’s incredible please keep doing intros like that. Also I’ve been loving your editing style lately.
the ocean with a quote? tysm! ❤️❤️ I did an outro quote too 😁
Amanda Ensing yes both! That made such a difference in the quality of the video. Unique and unlike what I usually see on here!! Girl teach me ur ways hahah
@@LaraOmar how long do you think it takes for her to edit these videos?
NatashaGisela personally I don’t know but if I had to estimate I’d say around 4 hours hahaha
Some tips I’ve learned: The Manes by Mell diffusing technique is a GAME CHANGER, protein/moisture balance is key, and sleeping on satin/silk helps preserve waves and curls
Going to look all of this up ♥️
Amanda Ensing yessss follow Manes by Mell she gives amazing info! I transitioned and am fully curly and my go to products are AG Hair - Fast food shampoo, xxtra moist conditioner, fast food leave in, recoil, liquid effects gel and cloud mousse was a game changer for me!
I’m 25 and know nothing about taking care of my curls or know what products to put in it. Are pre shampoos a normal thing? What are some good shampoos and conditioners? What are some good styling products? How often are hair masks appropriate? My curls are very similar to her root hair. I’m so lost and over whelmed
Yes Manes by Mel is the best!!! I also like the Glam Belle for curly info!!!
Oh India Batson is good too for Wavier hair!!
YES I love seeing people start to embrace their natural hair texture, I started in March, my hair is sooooooooooo much healthier.
My fav products are the Cantu moisturizing curl activator cream (amazing). The biosilk rock hard gelee (glycerin free, strong hold after you SOTC). And the Curls blueberry bliss leave in conditioner. And the Cantu twist and lock gel (super moisturizing, soft-medium hold)
Also the shampoos and conditioners from the not your mothers naturals line are all amazing.
Cutting my hair each month like a inch each time helped me get rid of my straight hair with out doing a huge chop. It’s a process !
EXACTLY, it’s a process. That’s how I got rid of my over processed ends. I snip a bit at a time. No one should feel pressured to CUT!
Amanda it makes me so happy to see how you’ve fallen back in love with your natural curls and have embraced them in all their natural beauty!! I’ve been watching your videos since before you’ve moved to LA and this is the content that reminds me why I’m such a big fan of yours 💛

LOVE that you’re starting your curly hair journey. I started last year and my curls are thriving. Just a couple of suggestions to help the process along. The ends of your hair that don’t curl are dead. A slight trim will help stimulate healthy new growth. Also, heat applied to your hair while you’re trying to get your curls back will slow the process down. I know it’s hard (especially since you’re all things beauty), but If you can stop applying heat your hair will go a long way. Less sometimes is more with curls. The more product you add to your hair, the more it will weigh down your curls. So really it’s just about finding the right combo for your hair that provides volume and curl definition, without having to add so many different products. I went from using so many creams to now only using two and my curls have never looked better! try plopping too! Far less work. Good for a lazy days when you want your curls, but not all the work involved ❤️
We both know why you’re here ☕️
no why lmao
I know lol
Why??
Why
Girllll cut a few inches off !! That’s what always helps my curls come back
I can’t right now. I’m too attached haha it’s been so long growing my length. I will eventually 😝
I’m a cosmetologist and my hair is curly just like yours and I’m telling you even one inch off the ends will make your hair bounce you won’t even need all those products
@@Oscarscoob you don't use products! can you please tell us a tip or a hack to preserve curls without products cuz i have allergy to products !
Lamya amghar not being able to use products is a process but I use to have to put all kinds of products in my hair just to keep it from frizzing up, but it starts off with a good shampoo and conditioner and deep conditioner treatments I don’t use any heat on my hair also a silk pillow case, and letting it air dry .
@@lamya9168 you can try to manipulate the curls by using a deman brush
I didn’t know you had curly hair! I love to see ppl embrace their curls ❤️ one time I used a boxed hair dye and it relaxed my curls 😩 I was so sad. I tried everything to make my ends curl, finally gave up and cut them off. My curls came back to life! And my hair grew back so fast! . Your hair looks beautiful, and I can’t wait to see your curls in their full glory ❤️
same!! small youtuber here ❤️
I just bleached my curls and they freaked out!! The Olaplex Bond perfector has been a life saver!!! Your curls are looking so good!! Getting trims every 6 -8 weeks really helped me too.
So cute!!!! You do not need a chemical cut. I had the same problem but with wearing my hair natural and getting regular trims my curls eventually grew out so you are fine babe.
This sounds perfect! 🙌🏽
Our curl pattern is super similar! I suggest that you do use a gel with a hard cast. The trick to get soft curls is to just “scrunch out the crunch” once your hair is completely dry. The cast is just there while your hair is drying, and once you break the cast, you get super defined but soft curls! Also, I suggest getting a denman brush if you don’t already have one! 💕
yess love a good cast, i love to see it after i fluff mine out! Please check out my latest video which includes scrunching out my cast!
A tip for styling use the cream before the gel. The gel will seal everything in including moisture.
I had damaged curls ! And I want to give you some tips! 1. I did a oil hair mask every week ( coconut oil, black castor oil, and I added egg) 2. I suggest getting products with no sulfates or dimethicone , I suggest ( Maui, not your mothers, and Shea moisture) 3. Sleep with a satin pillow case !! It keeps your hair non frizzy and u wake up to god looking curls 4. Get a micro fiber towel 5. I gave myself a little trim every month and I promise you it works!
I’ve been wanting to do somewhat of a “curly girl journey” and it’s nice to see you use some drugstore products! Makes it less intimidating 😅
Yess, you got this!! Check out the routine I just posted! Small amount of products & all drug store finds!
Try the not your mothers curls like she had the white bottle, AMAZING! no crunch and beautful curlsand the hair mask is so GOOD
@@Lizzardmakeup I love not your mother's curl cream. I didn't like the gel, but the cream is a must.
Getting trims every 3 months or so will help you grow out the damage the fastest while not changing your appearance drastically! Your hair will appear the same length to others, but you will see with every trim your hair will get even curlier eventually leaving you fully transitioned. Your hair is gorgeous!
I have very curly hair but it’s thin. In high school I straightened my hair everyday because I hated my curls. It took years to get them back but they are healthier than ever now. I would HIGHLY recommend putting the product in your hair upside down! It makes the biggest difference in the volume of your curls.
As I’m getting older I’m starting to love my curly hair! Thanks for sharing! 💛💛

Having curly hair is definitely a journey! Starting is the hardest part but it’s well worth it in the end. I recommend avoiding heat completely, heat in any capacity causes damage. Protective styles help a lot and constantly deep conditioning and trimming away the damaged parts. Good luck!
Curly hair is so hard! But worth it 😍
It's worth it and it's not! I've been thinking about going back to relaxers. Everyday it has a mind of it's own, it's gonna make you cry and smile!! I realized the more my hair grows the more it shrinks! Have fun on your journey! 💗
Idk what I love more the positive affirmations or your curls😻😻 so beautiful I love that you’re embracing yourself more
Love that girls are falling back in love with their curly hair again 😍
Can't wait to see your hair one year from now! A chop wouldn't hurt though 😂 I went for mines & although shorter hair isn't really my best look, I don't regret ever doing it. The hair health I have now was totally worth it!
I've been embracing my curls for the last 10 yrs and it's still a journey, different lengths for me require different products, so many half used items. I did the same straightening my hair for years but now love and embrace the natural me. So happy you are doing the same. Much love and the best of luck to you on your natural hair journey. I just recently started following you via my Instagram feed, think it was a Olé video. Enjoying your honesty. Looking forward to more videos ☺️
AHHH. I can’t believe your finally embracing your curly hair. I have some tips, for all the products apply in sections, I would apply the leave in, cream and one of those gels. And then use the brush in sections too and scrunch per section. I promise you’ll love the results.
agreed!! small youtuber here ❤️
I’ll definitely try! Thank you ♥️
Amanda Ensing you’re welcome!!!!
I just stumbled across your channel today and I wanna say you have great routine to be new to the game. It's super hard transitioning, but I promise you'll get the hang of it. One tip I do wanna give when you start to have more new growth it not to neglect the roots. Many people suffer ALOT from puffy dry looking roots, so adding conditioner to those strands as well benefit them and keep them strong and healthy. Another tip is to not get caught up in hair typing (like the 3b, 3c,4a, etc.) because in all reality it's of least importance. Instead, find out what your porosity, density, and thickness is and this will be a big help to your journey and the products that are right for you and your hair. I hope your journey goes well!!!
I'm so happy for you that your taking your curly journey. Curly girls are blessed because its not a common hair type you see. You don't see ladies flaunting big curly hair. Love to see what products work for your hair and what order works too. I see you put cream after gel. I know cream before gel. Gel creates the cast the holds the curls. Can't wait to your natural curls come through!
Curly hair is beautiful I don’t get why people say it’s ugly. My hair is wavy frizzy and my husband loves it wavy. This video has inspired me to dedicate more time and effort to my har!!
I went from heat damaged hair ... never did a big chop and I was able to restore my curls !! Aphogee is an AMAZING line !!! It helped a lot 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I struggled with my curly hair too and made the mistake of straightening excessively and dying my hair... I’ve bounced back!! Hair that is damaged needs PROTEIN. An amazing cheap homemade mask I’ve used and swear by is the egg/mayo mask. Use an egg, mayo, conditioner, and olive oil. ALL RAW. whisk it up, slather it on your hair and let it sit for minimum 30 minutes. wash out and follow your normal hair routine. Do it once every 2 weeks. Also, plopping is an amazing drying method. I used to diffuse but you’re still using heat on warm which kind of makes it harder to bounce back since it’s still heat. Be careful with the products you use and don’t wash your hair excessively. Finger coiling is also an amazing method to train your curls to spiral. CURLS ARE BEAUTIFUL, LETS BOUNCE BACK AND EMBRACE THEM!!
Plopping?
Hey chica ☺️ glad you’re back on the curly girl side! I would recommend cutting the off your damaged ends & giving your hair a break & doing protective styling! I had to do this a while back as well, but your hair really flourishes in the long run. Xoxo
the frequent hair cuts helped me so much! like every 3 weeks, I'd cut my ends and that made my hair grow faster while simultaneously cutting off the damaged hair. I love the Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil line and the low porosity line
I have followed you for so long ... and today I cried watching your video because For the longest time I used to look at your hair and say why doesn’t she just wear it curly I mean I know it’s a personal preference and it’s a personal journey by myself grew up in Hispanic household where my curly hair was deemed bad hair and I grew up hating my hair and it wasn’t until I had knowledge I’m taking care of my hair myself is when my confidence skyrocketed because my curly hair represent me and my heritage so today I actually cried when I saw you rock your curly beautiful hair and it made me just feel like yes she’s finally at that level not saying that you are already confident and beautiful I’m saying that it really does take courage to look within yourself and not the norm of other people and say my curly hair is beautiful thank you for this
Oh yes girl 🙌🏽🙌🏽 oh Amanda you got some curls on you I’m so happy your staring your curls Journey !!!! I LOVE OUIDAD !!! I use the strong hold gel ! I break off the cast with a oil at the end. Tip try to use the GEL at the end to seal everything off. Use your 1. Leave in 2. Curl defining cream 3 . Gel 4 . Oil to break your gel cast. Hope you see my tips 🤍can’t wait for those curls to be healthy !
Amanda, you are STUNNING with your natural hair! I’m obsessed with your curly hair, you rock it so well 💕
I needed this. I recently stopped straightening my hair and i'm trying to love my curls.
You got this girl 🙌🏽
your one of the reasons why i decided not to straighten my hair everyday and embrace my natural curls. i really wanted to thank you because ive always been insecure about them. 😘😘🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩 all loveee!!
my front pieces have such a hard time staying wavy so i’m def gonna try out twisting them with a comb!!!!
i have the same problem, you can try finger coiling them
Honestly I will twist mine and then use a hair clip to keep the strand in place so that it dries curled! I’ve done it for months and it helped my bangs so much. Now they’ll keep their shape on their own, just needed some training.
Hey girl grab a denman brush it will curl up really well. After you use the denman brush scrunch it just a little bit you’re going to be amazed lol.
i love how she shares her transition and also her routine, there arent many you tubers who do so this is great
What great products. What great tips Amanda, you have ALOT of great knowledge on curly hair. I love so many of the products you showcased. It’s not imperative to cut right away, as the hair in the front grows outs then you snip a tiny bit at a time..don’t feel pressured. Congratulations and good luck on your journey.
Thank you! I feel like I don’t know much but learning every day ♥️
Girl, I would tangle my hair all up in that comb!I could never.
You've come such a long way Amanda. Your curls are def coming back. Your roots are looking great! Those are also some great products. Keep it up!
Thank you 🙏🏽
I use the same curl cream and then I spray some of the Garnier spray gel on my hands and scrunch my hair with it too. I will use a diffuser if I need to and continue scrunching my hair until my curls are soft, but with enough hold from the gel to give my curls their shape. Absolutely love that not your mother’s curl creme though!! And Briogeo don’t despair, repair! hair mask. It’s seriously amazing and really makes my hair so soft!!
Amanda, with my transition i learned a lot and the best thing was that the hair mask has to be BEFORE the conditioner. When you wash your hair with shampoo you're open the cuticles of your hair then when you put the conditioner you are sealing the cuticles, closing them, but this way the mask wont prenetate in your hair. BUT... if you wash your hair (opening the cuticles) put the hair mask and then the conditioner, you're almost "locking" the hydration in your hair. Serious, makes ALL the difference.
Thank you! Will try 🙏🏽
Hey Amanda.
I also have curly hair & ever since I started brushing my hair only in the shower, I noticed it makes a huge difference with my curls.
I will use a comb in the shower after conditioning to de tangle my hair.
When I’m done, I will just add a de tangler with my hands & add it all over my hair & will use my fingers to de tangle more. Then I will add the styling products & diffuser & my hair just looks so much curlier 💓💓
Definitely do the cream before the gel ! It will give your hair more moisture that way and the gel will then seal it in
For your front pieces...you can do like pin curls in the front and use a small pin to hold it and let it fully dry / set and you will get the same result. Your just going to damage your bangs more...I'm speaking from experience trust meee lol
That is a great tip, I've tried it with a bobby pin and it works ☺ I think I saw that trick over on Curly Penny's channel
I love that you did this video! I’m just starting to really embrace my wavy hair. I always used to blow dry it all the time but I really try not to use any heat on my hair anymore so I figured I might as well embrace my hairs natural waves and just help them along. Thanks for this video. Your hair is gorgeous!
thats amazing! please check out my latest video for an easy to follow curly routine!
Glad to see your recent videos. Ever since you've moved from LA back to your home town you seem genuinely happy. Enjoying the authenticity and joy. God bless!
Coming from someone who has gone through the curly hair journey and now has curly healthy hair I would definitely recommend using creams first THEN gels last. And to finger/comb coil your hair while it’s still wet instead of letting it get dry. Also, less product is better and no product at the roots, it won’t leave your hair looking weighed down at the roots since your hair isn’t fully recovered yet. Best of luck to you!!! I feel like my curly hair journey flew by, I hope yours does too. ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the suggestions 🤍
Amanda Ensing Can’t wait to see your full recovery!! 😍🥰
Yaaaas!!!!! JOIN US QUEEN ON THE CURLY SIDE!!! Embrace the journey(the good, the bad, and the ugly). The end result will be worth it. Good luck and don’t give up!! 💋
Very beautiful, they will come back eventually.but you should get a dry curly cut it’s a super game changing trust me all that straight ends will disappear and your beautiful curls will come back .i done the same and now I have huge clumps I never knew I have ❤️
Miss Jessie’s hair creams work really well for my 3B curls. For leave in and deep conditioners, the L’Oréal Elvive line is inexpensive, smells nice, and is really moisturizing for me.
I just bought the miss Jessie’s multicultural curls but haven’t tried it yet 😃
Amanda Ensing i really love their pillow soft curls, and their honey curls cream which is a bit more of an creamy oil.
i just started going natural and the cream of nature line has made transitioning so much easier
Trust the process girls! I have between 3c to 4a hair, and it took me 3 years to get it fully recovered that did include a big chop tho which is just one of the the ways you can recover your hair faster. But it is worth it in the end trust me
I use Cantu products on mine and my daughters hair, and it makes our hair looK AMAZING!! Your hair is soo beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Kaila Uehara thank you I’ll definitely look into some ☺️
I feel the intro, I use to think my hair type was “frizzy” and it was so prone to damage, literally use to straighten my hair everyday in high school, safe to say I came a long way from that haha
im also on my curl restoring journey!! another tip that's helped me is finishing my shower with cold water and if i choose to blowdry, also finishing that with cold air as well, it helps define the curls a lil better
Thank you so much for doing this video! I was like you when I was little because everyone around me had pin straight hair and I had thick curly Mexican hair! I love embracing my curls now! Can’t wait to try some of these products! I love the scalp brush idea! You’re a natural beauty 🤍
You got this!! I went from extreme damage to insane curls, check out my latest video for a SUPER easy yet effective tutorial ❤
Mixed Chicks Leave In and Olaplex are my go to products. You may also want to try a heat cap from Thermal Hair Care for your hair mask days. The really balance out the moisture in your hair. Lastly you may also like the Curl Smith and Not Your Mothers lines. 💣
Yes curls!!!! Try cutting your ends a bit every month if possible ! And in a matter of no time all your processed hair will come out! Everything you did looked beautiful and worked so well for your hair!! Love it!!! Curly girls!!💖
Just started my curly journey about 2 months ago. Manes by Mell is ELITE. I didn’t know what the heck I was doing.
I have been watching her today and holy moly I have learned so much already!
Congratulations on the curly journey. I was just like you....hated my curly hair when I was younger. But I LOVE IT NOW. My one advice to you is to keep an eye on the ingredients. Try to stay with sulfate, silicone, and paraben-free products. It really makes a difference. YOU LOOK AMAZING! And keep doing you. I have been a long time fan, but more recently, I love the content you have been producing. You can definitely tell you are happier in Tennessee. Congrats again and WELCOME TO THE CURLY CLUB!!!!
Girl! I love that you are embracing your absolute natural beauty! I’m a curly girl as well. My hair is super long now so my curls are pulled down with the weight of my hair. You look gorgeous! 🦄💫🌟🤗
Use Flexi rods and train your curls!! That’s what helped me bring back my curls when I chemically damaged them! Your hair is looking so beautiful, I’m happy you decided to start this journey. ✨
Oooo I’ll look them up!
My preferred way to add product is add the creams first, then apply the gels, scrunch, wait for it to dry a little bit to create a cast. then go in with the diffuser, DONT fully dry your hair, and then scrunch after diffusing to have better hold for the curls.
Love that you are wearing your natural hair so beautiful! Try hair plopping I just started doing it recently and cant believe how much better my curls turn out. Make sure your hair is really wet and scrunch it just with your hands no towel so it keeps the curls intact and then plop it up with microfiber towel or a soft cotton t-shirt for few hours its amazing.
No YOUR curls are beautiful.
I just got a perm not too long ago. So far I'm a cream and mousse girl. I love the way mousse defines the curl after your break off the crunchiness.
Yaaaassss I’ve been waiting for this video for my babygirls curly hair so excited!!!!!!! Thank you Amanda!!!!
People need to understand that if she doesn’t want to do the big chop then she doesn’t have to. What I did was just trim quite a bit off my hair every month and now it is MUCH healthier than what it actually was.
I started transitioned to natural about 6 years ago. It is very hard in the beginning but sooo worth it!!! I love using not your mothers hair products and I use a mask almost every week! I just bought wave formers as well to use for styling!
It’s awesome that you are embracing your curls. Do what works for you! Thanks for the video! 👍🏼
So proud I of you for starting your curly hair journey!! Stick to it hun, you’re doing great 😊👌🏼
Thank you 😘
I love your positivity Amanda, can't get enough of your videos ❤️ I can relate to you so much, my hair used to be curly and now it dries wavy frizzy. Love you so much!

Aww love the baby pics! Based on your pics i think you have a 3a/3b hair. I never like to be the curly person patrol but 3b/3c is more kinky curly and your hair is definitely on the curly side not kinky. Just sharing some information as you learn. I also stopped dying my hair and embarked on the curly hair journey!
I started relaxing my hair before puberty and my hair dresser said it gets even curlier after. I can’t wait to see what my pattern is! The root growth is very tight. ♥️ if you saw my IG story, my hair underneath thats short all grew out in tight ringlets 😍
@@AmandaEnsing So excited for you to see your pattern as well! I heard someone say love your hair and watch it love you back and I thought that was so true. Once I started taking care of my natural hair and honestly talking to myself saying positive things to my hair It started to change for the better. I honestly feel like for all the damage my hair has been through it reverted back to its curly state pretty fast. There's still some damage but it's quite minimal
@@AmandaEnsing I almost screamed and cried when I came across this video. We have the exaaaaaaaaaaaact hair and transition phase. My hair underneath is also growing in ringlets, which I didn't know I had, and my curls at the top are also tight like that. I have never found someone with the exact curls and color as me before, its honestly like staring at a mirror. Thank you for posting this, it's so nice to see I'm not alone
Edit: to show you my hair! imgur.com/a/fvO7XJ4
So excited to see your curls flourish. Im in a curly hair journey right now too. Except im not using heat at all which most people say thats the number one thing u should stay away from. Its hard though. I been doing knotless braids on my hair since dealing with 2 different textures is ANNOYING! You can look into more protective styles like that. ❤️ i’l prob get into wigs when summer is over too
You should look into whats called a "curl cut". It helps your hair grow with its natural curl texture and brings back life to your hair. Right now your damaged hair is weighing down your curly hair and it's just going to keep causing damage.
Curlsssssss welcome to the family!!!
It certainly is a journey to get back to your natural curls. I started my journey January of 2018 and how my curls are today, I’am so thankful I stuck with it🙌🏽! Good luck!😉
I am so glad you are embracing your curly q's!! I love your curly hair!! Your curls are coming through okaaaay🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I think you should think about doing a mini big chop. I think your curls would look so cute in a bob type style!
Oh my goodness! Amanda, I cannot wait to see your hair when it’s all grown out😍💕
love love LOVE this! I'm happy to see your curly hair! I started my curly hair journey about two years ago when I decide to get a hair cut to freshen up my hair bc I had fried my hair to the point where they didn't curl anymore due to heat damage, it wasn't until last fall that I got a deva cut so that I could finally chop off the last bit of dead ends and I'm totally loving my curls! 👩🏽🦱🥰
trust me if you want the front of your hair to heal don’t put heat on it for a while but i love it 🥰
Girl keep it up front the looks of your roots your curly texture is soo pretty
Omg yassss love your curls and love that your embracing them and your roots! 😍😘🙌🏽❤️ and love that you’re using all ranges of curl hair products high-low price and all ethnicities! You’re the best😫 love you!!!
Thanks beauty 😘♥️
Manes by Mel is great! She’s very informative and knows her stuff.
Ahhhh mahhhh gahhh yessss love the curls can’t wait to see how it looks a year from now. I’m going on 2 years since I transitioned from chemically damaged hair to my curls. From one boricua to another keep going strong it’ll all be worth it!!!💜💜💜💜
Love , use your hair mask before the conditioner! The conditioner closes te cuticules so the mask Will not penetrate ur hair well if u use it before
Loving the curly hair on you Amanda!!! I'm also Puerto Rican and probably the ONLY person in my family that doesn't have the beautiful curls. So I was the opposite of you! My hair is lightly wavy. BUT whenever I like to try the curly hair look, I'll do two tight French braids and let them out the following day and I have pretty curls close to those my family has. Not the same but pretty darn close! It's a beautiful look. Loving it on you
If you love Ouidad's conditioner you'll also LOVE Verb's Ghost conditioner, it leaves curly hair feeling so soft and has no silicones
Best video ive seen of yours even though i love them all! But "embracing" the real you is the realest. When i was younger i wanted straight hair too.not thick and curly. Now.everybody wants volume..curls and length. And i have it. And i love it. 💓 Took .e a long time to embrace it. A lot of work. But its ME 💓 Thank You Amanda!
I have Puerto Rican curly hair too. Your beautiful curls will come back babe. Hang in there!
I can’t wait 😍
Great job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 you can try using perm rods on the front pieces so you don’t have to use heat😘
SO happy you’re letting your curls rock! Curl girls >
