Thank you Lenz all worked ok, i did try others on CZcams but their information was incorrect. Told the man on the high street that my phone had a black screen and he wanted to charge me £80 to fix, told him to go do one.

@@Lenzwalters Hey man, it did work initially. I did the download, but it didn't change the download screen for about 30 minutes. I turned it off figuring it was frozen. I can't get it back on. Even with your method. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much! Using the charger that came with cell phone really made a difference. Also holding down down arrow and home button brought my cell phone back to life!!!

Hey man this method is the best thank you for sharing I replaced my screen on a S5 sprint was a bit glitchy and try holding power for 1 minute didnt work what work was bios mode volume down, power, and home button that method work screen is more responsive now thanks, God Bless.

My s5 switches on but doesn't display..you can feel the commands and all,touch pad works.sometimes it displays then just goes blank.then keeps restarting itself and stops at the Samsung galaxy s5 boot menu.somebody please help
From what you mention is seem you have a firmware issue, you can try and flash your device to see if that will solved the issue..👍👍
My s5 overheats then switches off nd restarts over and over again until i take out the battery for a few mins😣
GM Guys I have a samsung Galaxy S5 and it doesnt work out for me even that I push the three buttos or the two buttons . I also see the blue light and the phone vibrated but it doesnt come back on it? Any advices guys.

No.. The reset is the volume up. when you go into the screen where it have the options you press down button to restart your phone normally
