I just lost my Tibetan Spaniel. I adopted her from Paws. She was 6 years old when I adopted her. Most unique dog I ever had. She was fun, sassy, smart and loved me so....! We went through some hard times together. I was alone and retired and I had a lot of time to play. I shall miss her. She knew exactly what I was saying. She was not a fan of her picture being taken. Just found one where she was sticking her tongue at me!!!!

We have an adorable, loving, kind, sensitive 'Tibby' and absolutely love and adore, McKenzie! He gets upset when I cry or talk loudly (some might say, yell). He is fierce, taking on two raccoons (separate incidences)and coming out of the fight with a few scratches! I hope we have him for 20 yrs! that would be awesome. He also loves playing with our two cats! And loves any and all of our friends. Highly recommend this breed for Seniors as he does not get under foot as some smaller breeds do.

I have a mix between tibetan spaniel and poodle, she is such a lovely dog! She looks mostly like a tibetan spaniel, only with waves! Such a smart, loyal, very active and social dog. And she barely sheds! 🥰 We got her from an old lady who couldn’t take care of her. She has a better, more active life now. 💗

I adopted the cutest little furball who turned out to be a tibetian spaniel. she howls...when she's awake. barks when asleep..not woooo whoooo. more like WOO WOOOOOOAHH! her front feet leave the ground due to sheer effort.
. then some time later, i also adopted a booger of a 20 lb or so terrier. who's the boss? after me, which seems up for healthy verbal debate, the tibetian gets her way..hands down. she is one stone cold street thug. fights dirty and smart, and makes me glad she's play fighting and will not get too much over 20 lbs... truly have never met a smarter dog and i walked dogs for 10 years. interestingly it's the terrier who is learning to mimic speech. she works at cadence, volume, number of syllables..... drives the Tibetan wild cause she can only woo woo, between the three of us, we do a mean Beatles tribute medley.

Tibetan spaniel what I have is called Lili.My first dog...she is more than dog...she has cat behaviour and attitude a lot...she act very human kind...super sensitive, sometimes pain in the bottom because her strong bond for me...she makes show when I live from home and see she me coming back...other wise she dont bark like that okay big hubble dogs like viiden retrievers and elderly sperman shepard dog...same size and smaller dogs she ignores...I have train her be at bike basket...she loves bike rides...I let her run free...walk beside closer for me when we are together at nature...with daddy my husband she do longer leash walk sometimes end of walk my husband have to carry her when she gets tired...independent yes and no...stubborn definitely espesially menstruation running period...she loves climb...at balcony she follows people not bark only when she see me or other family member...she likes digging...running with football...is so close some of his toys...picky with food...big appetite but we follow same eating habits...I make her run...remember orders...sit...down...stay...no...give paw...follow...close...release...here...I hide small treats at balcony or inside house and tell search...she loves cuddling I massage her...I do all these because she was little bit frighten fragile when age came for us...sometimes she has big attitude then you need to correct her like a child then she become her senses act better...I have always think if she would be rottweiler size what about then.I cannot compere her other dogs she is my 1st one...many people admire get SHE seems so kind and well trained it is true one way but she is handfull too...really pet dog who wants to be close...if you ignores her too much then she show it go under bed or chair dont come out...maybe One reason is Lili stays at my mothers place 3 times a week over night so I have time för myself...I work from home and need total concentration what I do she dont always want to allow me that jump bed on my papers laptop and dont listen when you say 10 times down and stay...she sometimes demend that stronger tone at voice and show I am serious to follow command. Very interesting dog breed...I believe dog still have their own character...our Lili needs attention, running, cuddling, playtime and shows a lot of affection...cat type of dog with human vibes...run like lightning or bunny rabit...use lot of paws and teeth carry and do own art...
