House #1 Ann Wolf's home is beautiful. I love her foyer- the walls, the banquette seating and the round table. The porcelain flowers are beautiful. What a beautiful entryway. I love the mural. I love the library. House #2 Matthew Harris' home is beautiful. I love the very modern black furniture. I love the stairs have no rails. (I had never seen a stairwell with no rails such as this.) I love the Cristofal egg on the dining table. Very original. I totally agree with him, you have to truly "live" in your home for it to come alive. House #3 Natalie has a beautiful home also. I had never seen curtains in a bathroom. Bold choice. House #4 Angela's home is a mix of different styles. Interesting. Very interesting. I loved her living room. It is a mix of many styles!!! I love the Gracie wall paper panel and the Hendredon coffee table. I love the Japanese screen behind her sofa. House #5 Like the others this house is beautiful. All these folks are making me want to buy new furniture and re-decorate my home. (ja, ja) Thanks for sharing these videos. I enjoyed them.

My favorite is Ann Wolf's home. I love blue and white porcelain and so does she. I especially love her dining room! If I was invited to dinner at her house, I would probably be too busy.soaking up the decor to actually eat anything. LOL! 👍😀

Professional ID here. I live and work in Houston, TX. House 1 is my favorite of them all. I ❤ her modern traditional style. The mix of modern art and classical timeless pieces with a hit of whimsy. That particular style has always been my personal favorite and how I designed my personal space on a much smaller scale.
This particular style seems to be what makes Houston Houston!

I grew up in New York and now live in Houston and it's been interesting to see homes from both areas on Homeworthy. The New York homes - especially the tiny city apartments - feel like "home" to me. They seem to have souls. Anne Wolf's home is just beautiful - exactly the kind of home I wanted for many years and I was surprised to find myself feeling smothered by all the "layers" by the end of the video. I have always like traditional homes so I was also surprised by what a breath of fresh air the 2nd home felt like. I felt freed from all that heaviness. It was beautiful but I would hardly feel comfortable to just sit anywhere and and not worry about messing anything up. How do you keep all that white so pristine? My sister had an open staircase similar to the one in this home and while It made me nervous, she and her husband and son - now 20 - navigated it without any issues. The third home was also complex and layered but felt much more light and airy than home #1. The lady of the house is just delightful and the home seemed to reflect the varied elements of their family and backgrounds. The 4th home was just all over the place. Everything was pretty but did not seem cohesive. I couldn't even finish watching home #5. Something as vast and expensive as this home did not really seem like a home at all. I can't imagine living like that. I think 3 homes would have been better than showing 5 homes - just too much to take in,

Love all the paint colors in Angela’s home!💕So peaceful. Having seen many homes like the exterior of her home in the Houston area, she did a fantastic job on the interior! So refreshing and beautiful in a time where neutrals and trends abound. Love it!

Ann Wolf's home is stunning!!!! Love all the patterns and color saturations. The filming was quite jerky and almost made me dizzy. I am crushing on her large copper watering can sitting in the breakfast room!!!!! Is there a link? Just love everything about all her collections.

Ann was delightful! Her home is so lovely and tasteful. I noticed the jerky camera moves too, but she didn't let that throw her off at all. ( in particular, at the foyer while she was introducing us to her home, the camera wandered away then snapped back to her.)

DOWDY!!!!! Almost every home never changed since late 80’s and in a couple of cases since 1900s. There was too much knickknack everywhere. The fabrics, the furniture, the lamps, the random art pieces, piles of books that were never read, the over the top plates and cutlery - all screamed old.

The first house is much better than most. The details are problematc-a lot of largely indifferent stuff crowding everything-but the bones are very nice. The house needs a serious edit.

    • @leslieshatkin707

Respectfully disagree. Love the stuff crowding everywhere. It warms my heart. So lovely. The house glows and so does the owner but I mean we all have our opinion so yours is valid.

I don’t know how these got in a top 5 chart. The 1 I dislike the most is Natalie Stee’s house. It is the most tackiest overflow of colors and patterns that DOESN’T compliment each other at all. I feel like she put anything and Everything together. Very ugly.

What a lot of money you have Mr Wolf, all the more for you to spend Mrs Wolf. Theirs and the Pynes' are fabulous. Class over cash always wins. I love Tina, she's a hoot! Her home in Maine is stunning too. The only thing I don't like in both these ladies homes is their art collections, I don't appreciate modern art at all, most of it is quite demonic imho.

  • @HLDCO

Absolutely HATED Matthew Harris's home. What a soulless empty box of boring nothingness and ugly uncomfortable-looking furniture. And the stairway he brags about with the landing that has no rails and a sheer drop-off of what looks to be about 5 feet! My gosh. How did he manage to get that past the building inspector? To decorate his home is easy. Strip out every ounce of character. Bring in a few pieces of furniture from a discount chain store and paint everything white (with the exception of black or bilious blue here or there). Boom. Done. Ugly house completed.

The staircase without banister looks cheap and dangerous in house two. He may think it is okay for adults but sometimes even adults trip/fall or become ill or injured, generally banister-less stairs look and actually are dangerous and that does not add a feeling of warmth and comfort to a space.
