Hey Adventure Seekers! 🎒✨
Welcome to our latest family adventure where we decided to trek over to Grotto Falls in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Jennifer and I have hiked here before, but it was our girls first time here, and we're bringing you along on an unforgettable journey filled with excitement, nature, and a little bit of thrill. 🌄👣
On this adventure we headed to Grotto Falls, which is an easy 2.6 mile roundtrip hike, and it has the only waterfall in Great Smoky Mountains National Park that a person can actually walk behind. If you catch it just right, you might even get to see the Llama Train. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see them this time. 🥲
One of the highlighted parts of this trail was almost getting eaten by bears! 😱 The scenery heading up to the waterfall was amazing. Everyone had a wonderful time visiting #GrottoFalls. Being able to watch the girls hike to the waterfall was definitely fun and enjoyable.
If you’re considering visiting Grotto Falls, we highly recommend taking the time to come visit. One thing to remember is to make sure you arrive later in the day as you might not get a parking spot, but also bring your bathing suits, so you can enjoy getting into the waterfall and have a great time doing it. 🩱🩳
