As much as I love the Big Fat Quiz, I don't think I've ever been so amused by it as watching the surprise introduction of the Gunge Box being turned around on Jimmy Carr. Positively glorious. Also, Richard's entirely deadpan "I will kill you in your sleep" tickles the dark recesses of my soul.
I doubt Jimmy wouldn't make jokes about it a lot if it were Jonathan Ross or something, he was a dick for doing it and deserves to have it mentioned, don't get me wrong I'm a fan but when you're that well off you don't need to be avoiding tax.
What a fun show! The "laid back borderline-drunk vibe" works well. I didn't get all the references, being from the US, but that made it more entertaining. For instance, I was surprised that they all knew who Linda Tripp is; I naively thought that the whole Clinton/Lewinsky thing would not have interested the Brittish people. I'm looking forward to watching more episodes... Thanks for posting!
I love these shows. Thank you so much for posting them. Richard was awesome as always and everyone else as while. Richards and Bobs answer about U2 killed me.
I'm not really a fan of Jimmy Carr in general, but I've been doing marathon of this show since several days ago and I have to admit that he is a good host in this. :)
I first came across him on QI a few years ago and i didn't like him much then, but then i started watching other UK comedy shows here on YT, and gradually my distaste for him diminshed to the point where i now find him utterly hilarious; much of the hilarity ensues, of course, from the interaction with the other comedians/comediennes on those shows (8oo10cdc, WILTY, WISIS, et.c.)
blacktulip having seen both, I’ll say his panel show hosting is a lot better than his stand up. He can be funny in the moment, given the right guests, but he’s not a brilliant writer. Any time he says a premeditated joke, it feels forced, awkward, and a bit obsequious. I enjoy his interactions with other comedians, but on his own, he’s a bit weak
What I particularly like about him in the panel show format is that he seems to genuinely enjoy when someone else is funny, which I think makes the people around him more comfortable.
I was about to go through withdrawal after having watched all the previous episodes of BFQ, and just as I was looking up the Wikipedia page for the show, I saw there were two new eps! Went on the search and found these, and I'm forever grateful. Thank you, and I can't wait until BFQotY 2013!
They did one set of decade-based Big Fat Quizzes in 2012, and then did another set in 2013, because the first ones had been so popular. It's not surprising really - if an idea works, milk it. VH1 had I Love the 80's, I Love the 80's Strikes Back, and I Love the 80's 3-D - and that was just for the one decade.
Wow, what a time to continue watching this, i stopped last night on my phone at the 38 minute mark and then i returned to this video and Jimmy said "Welcome back to the big fat quiz."... That is spooky!
Heck yes! Rikki, you are AWESOME! I was just about to resign myself to re-watching something from your tumblr site but then I noticed it was 2013!! Big ups!
Hilarious! "This video contains content from WMG, Channel 4, Warner Chappel, UPMG Publishing, SACEM, PIAS, PRS CS and UMPI, one or more of whom may have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds" The cheek!! ;)
Nah, it's just a regionalisation thing. The copyright legal beagles have restricted where this clip can be shown. I caught up with it on Channel 4's website though :) www.channel4.com/programmes/big-fat-quiz/4od
Thanks for uploading this! It's really great content for those of us on lockdown (depending where you live in the world etc) I have my cuppa ready & snacks .. LETS GO! 📺☕️🍷🍕 Thanks again👍🙌📺😎
Oh my God, Richard ... he looked so fucking pissed, remind me to never anger him wow and he's usually such a sweetheart. Good on Rossie to suggest Jimmy go in instead!
Agreed, he had such a valid point. We all know Richard usually knows every answer but chooses to go with something more fun and comedic instead. Though I admit, a part of me slightly wanted to see how Richard's expression would be if he got gunked.
Amber Nopoe I'm glad Jonathan offered the solution - Richard looked genuinly upset at the very thought. This is supposed to be a fun quiz, even (perhaps especially) for the participants, so I doubt Jimmy would've pressed too much anyway.
I'm American and have been watching British Shows for a while now. The only good late shows we've had are Last Week Tonight, The Jim Jefferies Show, and The Opposition with Jordan Klepper (which used to be a nightly show but is now moving to weekly). Two of those hosts aren't even American! Haha
Sue has probably the neatest handwriting out of all the big fat quiz panelist that have been on the show. Its the first time I could make out every word that was written without them having to say it out.
I would have went with Tom Hanks just by virtue that he`s the highest grossing actor or all time. His movies have made over 8.5 billion dollars. That`s just insane.
I am right in thinking they had Carr do the gunk so that Ayoade won't have to do it? Judging from his expression, it looked like he was dead serious about what he said if he was ever gunked...
Nah, not really. There was only one seat in the Gunge tank, and the teams were all pairs. Plus, the moment Jonathan Ross suggested putting Jimmy in the tank and everyone jumped onboard, Jimmy barely put up the slightest fuss, so I'm pretty sure he knew he was going in there from the beginning. But this is all speculation, of course, I could be wrong.
Bob Mortimer is such a "comedian's comedian", even Richard Ayoade can't help but laugh.
Everybody's Dead Dave 35:00 is just incredible
Am I the only who thinks that Richard looks younger now than he did in the 90s?
"The man with the Indian mind"
"It think he was just an Indian man"
Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade
Bob Mortimer is unbelievably off center funny :) just the fact that he makes Ayoade laugh, says volumes
His stories on WILTY are the best in the whole show tbh
Lee Mack ended the quiz flawlessly with that line
As much as I love the Big Fat Quiz, I don't think I've ever been so amused by it as watching the surprise introduction of the Gunge Box being turned around on Jimmy Carr. Positively glorious.
Also, Richard's entirely deadpan "I will kill you in your sleep" tickles the dark recesses of my soul.
"I think i speak for the entire country. You've taken so much, now it's time you give back". Classy.
"Fewwewo Woche"
Gets me every time..... =D

After seeing Bob on WILTY I fully believe every story he tells
So pleased to see both Lee Mack and Sue Perkins, as well as the always hilarious Richard and Bob. Thanks for the uploads!
Bob: "The Man with the Indian Mind!"
Richard: It was just an Indian man.
The "wank bank" comment was, for some reason, one of my favorite parts.
since then i always refer to hawt stuff as going into my wank bank. Live with that thought.
Richard's blatant refusal to go into the gunge tank is one of the many reasons I love him. Why get your fabulous clothes ruined for no reason?
Bob Mortimer was better with "I don't believe in it" "It's right behind you!"
I normally don't like the kids play portion much, but when that little girl jumped out of the box as a tiny sheep, it made my heart melt a little bit.
SolidSapphire Did Sean Lock brainwash you? (Sorry for the 3 year old reply)
It was such a timid "tada" too. So sweet.
3:08 Richard: That was the last time I smiled.
Until now, Richard, because you're sat next to Bob Mortimer.
They're just never going to let Jimmy live down his tax thing, haha
He jokes about it himself.
I doubt Jimmy wouldn't make jokes about it a lot if it were Jonathan Ross or something, he was a dick for doing it and deserves to have it mentioned, don't get me wrong I'm a fan but when you're that well off you don't need to be avoiding tax.
Oh, not saying it's wrong to joke about, he apologised well but it was a terrible thing to do. I just love that we have this running gag now
2018 and it's still on the table.
how do we feel about this and Angus Deayton's scandal where he lost HIGNFY.
I love Jonathan Ross and Richard Ayoade but I miss the Goth Detectives.
Freaksoftheinternet percent line up for me would be Richard and David Mitchell, the goth detectives, and Katherine Ryan and Claudia Winkleman.
Luckily, Bob Mortimer is funnier than the Goth Detectives put together.
The Goth Detectives need their own show! 💕
Who are the Goth Detectives?
Rikki Sixx Rules. All hail the queen of BBC uploads!
Lee Mack and Richard Ayoade are awesome!
That kiss scarred me for life.
Bob Mortimer is a goddamn lunatic and its beautiful
so does this mean that every time you find a random nut in your pocket you've had a run in with Bob Mortimer?
Unless you're Vladimir Putin. Then it's just Donald Trump (in his pocket)!
*No spoilers*
Jimmy, at the end.. just .. what a team player. that's awesome. good show dude.
Bob Mortimer is pure chaotic energy
I love that there is actually also John Oliver in the photo of Richard Ayoade in the 90s. They cut him off the picture for the show. :)
Bob Mortimer is the cutest human being in the world.
@ Erin Ross Only surpassed by Richard Ayoade ;)
@TovaShai Fuji IX (I am just posting this comment everywhere, I am so sorry XD)
Is Bob Mortimer even real
yes he is and it's re remarkable
yes and no
SURREAL
Blake. Yes, but you are a figment of my imagination.
Fuji IX :p
I love these shows. Thank you so much for posting them. Richard was awesome as always and everyone else as while. Richards and Bobs answer about U2 killed me.
I love how focused everyone got after the gunk tank was mentioned.
I'm not really a fan of Jimmy Carr in general, but I've been doing marathon of this show since several days ago and I have to admit that he is a good host in this. :)

Check out 8 out of 10 cats does countdown if you haven't yet. He's pretty good in that as well
Jimmy carr is the shit, should check out 8 out of 10 cats does countdown, more gold
What I particularly like about him in the panel show format is that he seems to genuinely enjoy when someone else is funny, which I think makes the people around him more comfortable.
Jonathan Ross was killing it with the puns!
its 3.00 AM and I just discovered this one has Mr Ayoade. That's my last chance at sleep fucked then.
"Xena: Warrior Princess was a popular 90's show. If you don't remember it, imagine Game of Thrones - but shit."
Oh my sweet summer child....
If only they knew how it ended.
Richard Ayoade is terrific and the best in everything he is in.
If you didn't upload this, I would miss all this fun; again Thank you Rikki much appreciated.
I'd love to see Matt Berry on Big Fat Quiz
Bob has lead quite an interesting life
they should get lee mack on more bfqs....
they should do more of them.
Definitely
Bob Mortimer is chaotic good in a person
"edward tax evader" i died
OOOooohhhh! I didn't catch that, silly me; thanks for the clarification.
"How long before you get to the Duke of Edinburgh award?" 🤣
My faves Lee Mack and Richard Ayoade on the same show!!! yaaay
I was about to go through withdrawal after having watched all the previous episodes of BFQ, and just as I was looking up the Wikipedia page for the show, I saw there were two new eps! Went on the search and found these, and I'm forever grateful. Thank you, and I can't wait until BFQotY 2013!
Rikki Sixx, you are amazing. Thank you so much for uploading these!
Richard Ayoade is so cute. He doesn't look like he's 30+
If cats became human, I think they would name him their leader.
I am a cat human, and I declare him king of the cats
Man I love me some Richard Ayoade.
+SkrootNissu Yoctomind He's hot :) love him
Dude, he is so flippin talented! It's maddening how much he's so good at. I want to be like him.
I just freaking love you!!! I caught on to British TV late in the game but you have always supplied good versions and fast uploads. THANKS A BILLION
I love Sue Perkins so much
I love Jimmy Carr. All that tax evasion is water under the bridge for me.
About time Lee Mack appeared on this show.
Bob is magic.
I've really enjoyed these. Thanks for posting.
It's pretty weird how there are two Big Fat Quizzes on the 90:s, but I'm not complaining. I love these.
The other one's better though. The ending is just brilliant (even though there's a slight chance that kinda thing isn't to your taste).
They did one set of decade-based Big Fat Quizzes in 2012, and then did another set in 2013, because the first ones had been so popular.

I have a slight feeling that Jimmy knew it would be him in the tank.
+Dimafear True, and there was a single chair.
I think it was to kind of salvage his image after the tax thing.
God bless you for uploading these
So glad you post these love watching all of these videos.
Omg! I had a Thunderbird Island toy! I forgot about that show
Wow, what a time to continue watching this, i stopped last night on my phone at the 38 minute mark and then i returned to this video and Jimmy said "Welcome back to the big fat quiz."... That is spooky!
jjammmees Ozark
It's not spooky when you deliberately stop the video as it's going to commercial...
2:11 Lee looks like whole different person now. He had a glow up.
Heck yes! Rikki, you are AWESOME! I was just about to resign myself to re-watching something from your tumblr site but then I noticed it was 2013!! Big ups!
Thanks so much for getting on this so quick! It takes me like 2 hours to watch it on 4OD with Expat Shield!
Bob and Richard make a fine pair.
This show is absolutely amazing after 3 HUGE glasses of wine!
Thanks a million for the fast uploads!
I LOVE Big Fat Quiz Of The 90s! I was shocked how many I could guess correctly! Plus Jimmy Carr's laugh always entertains!
Hilarious! "This video contains content from WMG, Channel 4, Warner Chappel, UPMG Publishing, SACEM, PIAS, PRS CS and UMPI, one or more of whom may have blocked it in your country on copyright grounds"
The cheek!!
;)
Ken Harvey: weird. It plays fine for me on my computer! Perhaps it just won't play on mobile platforms?
Nah, it's just a regionalisation thing. The copyright legal beagles have restricted where this clip can be shown.
I caught up with it on Channel 4's website though :)

I love comidy and the joy that it brings
Oh my God, Richard ... he looked so fucking pissed, remind me to never anger him wow and he's usually such a sweetheart. Good on Rossie to suggest Jimmy go in instead!

I'm pretty sure it would have been pure murder O_O
elwynbrooks He would murder him, with his Moss hair. Or the internet.
Amber Nopoe
I'm glad Jonathan offered the solution - Richard looked genuinly upset at the very thought. This is supposed to be a fun quiz, even (perhaps especially) for the participants, so I doubt Jimmy would've pressed too much anyway.
The ending wasn't staged?
EYYYY! I've been looking forward to this all week. :) Thanks for the upload, friend.
Holy shit! Lee Mack’s 90’s photo was unexpected
OMMG so glad I randomly found you're channel thanks from canada
Thanks for uploading :)
thanks for uploading these gems i dont alot about the brit UK and everything around it XD
Every single one of these jokes is more well written and clever than anything I've heard on American late night television.
D.J. West too true my friend!!!
I'm American and have been watching British Shows for a while now. The only good late shows we've had are Last Week Tonight, The Jim Jefferies Show, and The Opposition with Jordan Klepper (which used to be a nightly show but is now moving to weekly). Two of those hosts aren't even American! Haha
Thank you greatly, lovely person
Jonathan's lisp is adorable! :)
It’s not a lisp, it’s a speech impediment.
I
Rikki you're fucking awesome! Can always count on you to upload the good stuff. We appreciate it.
this was EPIC, especially Jimmy's response at the end
Thank you so much!!
Good show. Two Leos, genimi, libra, Capricorn and late Scorpio. Virgo leading
Thanks for this Rikki! Oh my god, that second photo of Jimmy looks like a chubby Jack Whitehall! :P
Sue Perkins is the best!!
thankyou so much!!! you are the best!
Thanks, Rikki! You're brilliant :-)
I didn't know that they made another one. This is wonderful
Rikki, you're the best. Thanks mate

I'M SO HAPPY I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THIS ON MY SUB BOX!
And I just finished The ID Crowd finally episode special. TODAY IS A GREAT DAY!
true and true. those two changes would be perfect. love these quizzes. cant wait for the next one at christmas
Whoa, Jimmy turned really pissed the moment when Lee said Edward Taxevader.
LEE MACK!!
You can laugh when the work is done.
- Paraphrasing from Henning Wehn
Lee Mac in the 90s looks totally unrecognizable ...
Don't know how i missed this!!!
Half way through I actually forgot Lee Mack was in this. He was super lowkey in this.
You'll soon be addicted to it, if you're not already. Especially panel shows.
I am right in thinking they had Carr do the gunk so that Ayoade won't have to do it? Judging from his expression, it looked like he was dead serious about what he said if he was ever gunked...
